Abstract

This study's background was students who were less independent and still had difficulties in solving abstract things. The purpose of this study was to develop a module with the RME approach so that students would get a better understanding of the concept of the material being taught, especially on the two-dimensional figure. To identify the module's feasibility was based on the assessment of material experts, media experts, and student responses to the modules that have been made. The study was conducted using the Research and Development (R & D) method. The steps include (1) potential and problems, (2) data acquisition, (3) product design, (4 design validations, (5) design improvements, (6) product trials, (7) product revisions, (8 ) usage test Subjects of the trial included: (a) product review experts, (b) education practitioners, (c) Class VII junior high school students. Development of modules included: (a) gathering information, (b) module design, (c) validate the material expert, (d) product revision. The next step is the feasibility of the module, which includes: (a) validation by experts, (b) expert revision, (c) product trial, (d) revision I, (e) test try usage, (f) revision II.  Data collection techniques are interviews and questionnaires. Types of data used quantitative and qualitative data. This study uses qualitative descriptive analysis, which is converted into quantitative values based on the Likert scale. The study results indicated that the study successfully developed the mathematics learning module on the two-dimensional figure for the second semester's seventh-grade students with the RME approach. The results of the study by material experts obtained an average score of 201 with an outstanding category. The results of the assessment by media experts obtained an average score of 129 with very good categories. Student response results to the module included in the good category with an average score of 89.3. Abstract

This research was motivated by the lack of comic learning media on social arithmetic material in schools. This study aims to develop comic learning media in HOTS oriented social arithmetic materials for junior high school / MTs students. This research is included in research and development using the ADDIE development model, which consists of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects were material experts, media experts, State Junior High School (SMP Negeri) 4 Sewon, and Muhammadiyah Junior High School (SMP Muhammadiyah) Sewon in Bantul regency. Data collection techniques used in this study are interviews used before product development. The research instrument used was interview guidelines to assess comic learning media that had been developed. Data analysis techniques use quantitative data analysis, converted into qualitative data with a Likert scale. Based on the results of the feasibility study of the product which was developed based on the calculation of the average score of the media expert obtained by 4.32 with very good criteria, from the expert material obtained at 4.29 with very good criteria, from the response of students in the small class test obtained at 4.38 with very good criteria, and from the students' responses to the trial of large class products obtained by 4.01 with good criteria. Based on these assessments, the mathematical comic learning media developed in social arithmetic is appropriate for the learning process.

Abstract

This research is based on the less optimal use of student books as teaching material and unavailability of modules, mainly facilitating students to learn in groups. Modules with NHT cooperative learning model can be used as teaching materials to ease students in learning mathematics by group discussion. This development research aims to manage and develop teaching materials in the form of Mathematics Module with Numbered-Heads Together (NHT) Cooperative Learning Model on the two-dimensional figure (Square and Triangle) for VII grade students. This study also aims to determine the feasibility of modules developed based on material experts, media experts, and student responses. This research was conducted using the ADDIE development model. The development steps include Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The Mathematics Module on two-dimensional figures (Square and Triangle) for grade VII Students is developed by integrating NHT cooperative learning steps. This product has passed through a revision phase based on the advice and inputs of material experts and media experts. This research shows that the teaching materials in the form of Mathematics Module with Numbered-Heads-Together (NHT) Cooperative Learning Model on the two-dimensional figure (Square and Triangle) for Junior High School Students in Grade VII have excellent quality proven from validity criteria. Based on the materials expert assessment, the average score of 137 meets the very - good criteria, and the assessment of media experts obtained an average of 136.3 that fulfills the criteria very well. The students' responses obtained an average of 131.6, which meets the criteria very well as well. Based on the results of the research, the Mathematics Module with Numbered-Heads-Together (NHT) Cooperative Learning Model on two-dimensional figure material (Square and Triangle) for Junior High School Students in Grade VII is suitable for mathematics learning.

Abstract

The low of students' mathematics learning outcome is associated with many factors. Not all peers support students' achievement. The lack of time management and the lack of studying interest are several factors that were assumed to have a relation with mathematics learning. Therefore, this study aimed to determine whether there is a positive and significant relationship between peers interaction, time management, and interest learning with mathematics learning outcomes in students class VIII of State Junior High School (SMP Negeri) 2 Banjarnegara in even semester in the academic year of 2016/2017. This research population was the students of VIII grade in SMP Negeri 2 Banjarnegara in 2016/2017, consisting of class VIIIB, VIIIE, VIIIF, VIIIG, VIIIH, totaling 165 students. Samples were taken from VIIIF as the research sample class and with the random sampling technique. The writer uses the questionnaire method to collect peer interaction, time management, and interest learning and test methods to get the resulting math results. The research instrument: validity test, different power test, and reliability test. Test requirement analysis includes a test of normality, a test of linearity, and independence. The writer uses product-moment correlation analysis and multiple linear regression analysis to analyze the data. Abstract

Education has an important role in improving the quality of learning by implementing efforts to improve it, and it is by this research which is based on learning student learning outcomes by using Course Review Hooray (CRH) learning and make a matching model in class X Students of State Senior High School (SMA Negeri) 1 Sanden, Bantul academic year 2017/2018. This type of research uses comparative research. The population consists of all class X Science Mathematic (MIPA) as many as 112 students are divided into four classes. Sampling was done by a simple random sampling technique and obtained three sample classes, students of class X MIPA 2 as experimental class 1, X MIPA 3 as experimental class 2, and X MIPA 1 as control class with the number of students each class 28 students. The research instrument uses validity and reliability testing. The unreasonable analysis includes the test of normality and homogeneity. Analysis of the data using the anava test. The study results showed differences in mathematics learning outcomes using conventional learning models with Course Review Hooray (CRH) and matching the learning model. It was shown by starting with f_tabe e=3,1093 dan f_count=26,902, which means f_count  of the CRH learning model and make a match with no difference in the result. Learning mathematics rather than conventional learning.
