Abstract

This study aims to describe students' motivation to learn mathematics based on gender during online learning. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative, involving students of mathematics education study program through filling out a questionnaire instrument for learning mathematics. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive statistics, then the research results obtained include: the mathematics learning motivation of female and male students is in the medium category. However, when viewed from every aspect of motivation to learn mathematics, female students have higher motivation than male students during online learning. So it is recommended that mathematics learning pays attention to collaboration based on gender.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan motivasi belajar matematika mahasiswa berdasarkan gender selama pembelajaran online. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kuantitatif deskriptif, dengan melibatkan mahasiswa prodi pendidikan matematika melalui pengisian instrumen angket motivasi belajar matematika. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif, kemudian diperoleh hasil penelitian antara lain: motivasi belajar matematika mahasiswa perempuan dan laki-laki berada pada kategori sedang. Tetapi, jika ditinjau dari setiap aspek motivasi belajar matematika, mahasiswa perempuan memiliki motivasi yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan mahasiswa laki-laki selama pembelajaran online. Sehingga direkomendasikan pembelajaran matematika yang memperhatikan kolaborasi berdasarkan gender.

Abstract

The research was conducted to determine the effect of contextual teaching and learning in improving students' mathematical connection ability through various previous research results. The method used is a meta-analysis with a quantitative approach. The research samples are the research articles in the form of theses, dissertations, and national journals and international journals that met predetermined criteria. The process of collecting data is conducted by following the prism flow. The data analysis technique is determining the effect size of each study using the standardized mean difference formula. Further statistics of the effect size used is the random effect model. The results of the analysis of the random-effect model show that from the various research results that have been analyzed, it is able to increase students' mathematical connection ability by 85% with very big categories. This indicates that the contextual teaching and learning model provides a huge contribution to the improvement of students' mathematical connection ability.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the process and results of developing a mathematics module based on the contextual approach in algebraic forms which was valid, effective, and practical in the VII grade of Junior High School. This study was research and development (R&D) adapted from the ADDIE development model. The product developed was a mathematics module containing algebraic form materials based on the contextual approach, the subject of the study were students of junior high school. Data collection techniques in this study were validation sheets, questionnaires, learning outcomes tests, and observation sheets. The data analysis technique used was descriptive data analysis. Based on the research findings, it was found that the process of developing teaching materials in this study using the ADDIE instructional development model included five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The mathematics module has met the criteria of validity, effectiveness, and practicality, which means that this module is suitable to be applied in the interaction of teaching and learning activities. The developed module to optimize students understanding of concepts and be able to make students more focus on the learning process in the classroom.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan E-Modul berbasis Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) yang memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (Research & Development) dengan menggunakan model ADDIE. Uji coba produk dilakukan pada kelas VII-6 dengan 29 siswa sebagai sampel. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu lembar validasi, observasi keterlaksanaan e-modul, angket respon guru, observasi aktivitas siswa, angket respon siswa, angket minat belajar, dan tes hasil belajar. Analisis data menggunakan analisis kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan e-modul. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan  e-modul berbasis RME menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE dimulai dengan identifikasi masalah siswa, sekolah, dan kurikulum, dilanjutkan dengan desain e-modul sesuai kebutuhan siswa, divalidasi, dan diimplementasikan dalam pembelajaran, serta dievaluasi kualitasnya. Hasil validasi menunjukkan e-modul sangat valid dengan skor 3,8. Kepraktisan e-modul dinilai dari angket respon guru (98%) dan observasi keterlaksanaan (1,75), yang menunjukkan e-modul praktis. Keefektifan e-modul ditunjukkan oleh angket respon siswa (86%), observasi aktivitas siswa (75%), angket minat belajar (85%), dan tes hasil belajar (72,41%), sehingga e-modul dinyatakan efektif. Oleh karena itu e-modul berbasis (RME) dapat dinyatakan valid, praktis, dan efektif. Kata Kunci: E-Modul, Realistic Mathematics Education, ADDIE, Hasil Belajar Abstract: This study aims to develop an e-module based on Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) that meets the criteria of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. Data analysis used validity, practicality, and effectiveness analysis of the e-module. The results of this study indicate that the development of an e-module based on RME using the ADDIE development model begins with the identification of student, school, and curriculum problems, followed by the design of the e-module according to student needs, validated, and implemented in learning, and evaluated for its quality. The validation results show that the e-module is very valid with a score of 3.8. The practicality of the e-module is assessed from the teacher response questionnaire (98%) and implementation observations (1.75), which indicate a practical e-module. The effectiveness of the e-module is demonstrated by the student response questionnaire (86%), student activity observation (75%), learning interest questionnaire (85%), and learning outcome test (72.41%), so that the e-module is declared effective.
