Abstract

Pembelajaran daring tentunya akan kurang bermakna tanpa sinergitas dalam pengelolaan pembelajaran yang tepat dan tidak semua pembelajaran selama pandemi covid 19 efektif dilakanakan secara sistem daring. Pembelajaran akan efektif jika dilaksana secara blandded learning yakni kombinasi daring dan melalui tatap muka secara klasikal. Pendekatan tatap muka selama pandemi covid19 hakikatnya dapat dilakukan dengan tetap menggunakan prosedur, aturan-aturan protokol kesehatan, serta dilakukan dengan menggunakan strategi dan metode pembelajaran yang dianggap tepat dan efektif. Oleh karena itu, pengetahuan dan kemampuan tentang pengelolaan pembelajaran dimasa pandemi covid19 perlu diberikan dan dikuatkan bagi sekolah-sekolah dilingkungan satuan pendidikan dasar (SD) kota Binjai. Sebab, pengetahuan dan kemampuan sekolah dan guru dalam mengelola dan berinovasi bagi pembelajaran sangat dibutuhkan di dunia pendidikan saat ini, apa lagi ditengah wabah pandemi covid 19. Pengetahuan dan kemampuan mengelola pembelajaran tersebut menyangkut mulai dari perencanaan (planning), pengorganisasian (organizing), pelaksanaan (actuating) dan evaluasi (evaluating) sehingga efektivitas belajar mengajar di masa pandemi covid 19 saat ini dapat tercapai, baik implementasi pembelajaran dalam jaringan (daring) maupun luar jaringan (luring). Hasil pelatihan memberikan adanya kombinasi pemdapat dari para guru sebagai peserta pelatihan tentang pembelajaran blendded learning, tingkat kecendrungan kepuasan guru terhadap kegiatan pelatihan, terkhusus terhadap pengelolaan pembelajaran luring dan daring.

Abstract

This article discusses the application of face-to-face learning after implementing large-scale social restrictions and the Enactment of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) of various levels as strategies for preventing and handling the spread of Covid-19. The analysis in this article focuses on the readiness of learners and educational institutions in terms of learning policy and facilities, and infrastructure. Qualitative methods are used in this research with a field approach. Data sources are obtained from elementary, middle, and high school students and principals, and teachers in Bengkulu City who are selected based on research focus needs. The results showed that students were very ready to follow face-to-face learning. However, gradually vaccinations will be carried out, the need for face-to-face is felt to be very important because many students have never met classmates and teachers who teach, especially for students in grades I and 2 elementary schools, class VII and VIII junior high, and X and XI high school. In addition, the school also stated that it is very ready for face-to-face learning by preparing all supporting devices related to health protocols and efforts to prevent the spread of Covid-19 by designing learning patterns in terms of lesson hours, classrooms, and other facilities. Students and educational institutions found several things related to education about the importance of vaccination and limited lesson hours related to the obstacles faced. They increased teacher activity in carrying out teaching tasks

Abstract

The problem of school performance, especially the performance of personnel involved in school organizations (principals, teachers and staff), is rated lowly. Therefore, the ability of people in school organizations is required to ensure that the school's target will be achieved effectively. This study was conducted by using mixed method (embedded qualitative-quantitative type mix): the qualitative method as the primary method and the quantitative method as secondary method that was carried out in one stage of the study (the qualitative-quantitative stage together). Open and closed questionnaires through predetermined respondents, as well as documentation studies were used as data collection tool. Meanwhile, the data was analyzed by using statistical approach (quantitative) and data transformation (qualitative) was obtained from sources or participants determined in the study. The results showed that from the characteristics of (1) collegiality collaboration skills among teachers, (2) understanding cognitive processes in the administration of teaching, (3) mastery of subject knowledge structures, (4) understanding and appreciation of values, beliefs, and (5) teaching standards, convey direct and positive influence on student and teacher performance. Based on these competency characteristics, teacher and student performance can be predicted, whether effective or not

Abstract

This research is a qualitative research in the form of a case study. This research is conducted at Binjai State Elementary School, Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to implement a child-friendly school program and develop student character programmed in the Primary Schools of Binjai Ciy, Indonesia. The respondents of this study are principals and teachers. The results of this study are child-friendly school policies at Primary Schools of Binjai City encourage all school residents to care about the school environment and be anti-violent so that the atmosphere at school becomes healthy, safe and comfortable. The formation of the character of students through child-friendly schools Primary Schools of Binjai City is going well because the teachers at the school have formed the character of students including students who are diligent and diligent in learning, respect for teachers, discipline, respect each other so as to form a community friendly study. Child-friendly school programs are very effective in forming a safe and conducive school environment and supporting the development of student character, in addition to encouraging schools to develop infrastructure to support learning. The study also found that some schools still have obstacles in developing a school culture for the direction of child-friendly schools. In general, Primary Schools of Binjai City has implemented child-friendly education, where the school has attempted various programs and activities in implementing child-friendly education.

Abstract

When BJ Habibie became the head of the BPPT, the idea of establishing a boarding school-based madrasa was based on the basic concept of the integration of Faith and Taqwa (IMAQ) and Science and Technology (IPTEK) called Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Insan Cendikia in Serpong, then this model developed to various provinces one of which is Bengkulu Province. The problem is the model developed by Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Cendikia Insane already running optimally and optimally, the extent of the success of student coaching in the Dormitory at Madrasa Aliyah Negeri Cendikia Insan Bengkulu Tengah. Therefore, this study discusses the evaluation of the management of student coaching in MAN Insan Cendikia Bengkulu  Tengah Boarding House.The research method used is descriptive qualitative with evaluative research type, this research was conducted at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Insan Cendikia Bengkulu Tengah, research data sources consisted of Boarding Trustees and Students. The results showed that all components and curricula of curriculum consisting of Salimul Aqidah, Sahihul Ibadah and Moral Karimah had been carried out well and fulfilled the established curriculum requirements for curriculum. Some of the obstacles experienced by hostel caregivers are heterogeneity of students from various aspects, but overcoming this the manager uses two approaches, namely the regulative approach and the psychological approach.

Abstract

This study discusses to discuss the social that occurs in society. The gap that occurs is marked by the separation of a group of young people who are displayed like rock n roll taken while holding hands in the window of a car, like beggars but they are still young, like buskers but all eccentric. This phenomenon is seen at red lights, crossroads, highway bridges, terminals and others. This study uses qualitative research by studying phenomenology in the city of Bengkulu. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews, and documentation, using descriptive analysis with interactive analysis models. The results obtained are the Bengkulu city government through the Social Service which implements a social problems program (PMKS), the program includes: community-based social education, by providing opportunities for punk school children with a program package, providing entrepreneurial safety training and conducting ongoing supervision. This program succeeded in changing the city of Bengkulu which is free of punk children and returning punk children can be anticipated with an ongoing program.

Abstract

This study aims to explain how the strategy for developing human resources at the Child Welfare Institution (LKSA) by taking a case at the Al-Mubarak LKSA Orphanage in Bengkulu City. The method used is a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach, the source of this research data is the manager and caregiver of LKSA Al-Mubarak Bengkulu City and also the document data obtained through the Social Service of Bengkulu City. The results showed that the Human Resources (HR) Child Welfare Institution in Bengkulu, especially the Al-Mubarak Orphanage did not meet social ministerial regulations Number 108 / HUK / 2009 regarding Certification for Professional Social Workers and Social Welfare Workers. Furthermore also found several aspects that have not met the care standards according to the Republic of Indonesia Minister of Social Affairs Regulation Number 30 of 2011. As a suggestion from the author, the Child Welfare Institution should work with the Social Service to identify social workers who work at the Child Welfare Institution or at the Office Social who has supervisory competence and set him as a supervisor of the Child Welfare Institution.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze teachers’ digital literacy in the learning process at public elementary schools in Bengkulu, Indonesia. The focus is on teachers’ use of technological devices, especially their proficiency in operating, designing learning media, and utilizing digital media as a learning tool. This study employed qualitative research approach with descriptive type. The subjects were determined based on purposive with education background as the inclusive criteria. The data was collected using interview techniques where researchers were the primary instrument. The obtained data was analyzed through tabulation, coding, and conclusion withdrawal. Results showed that teachers firstly used technological devices as a learning tool due to the Covid-19 pandemic. They learnt to operate various device to transfer learning materials through visual, audio, and audiovisual methods. Teachers generally used smartphones and laptops, in which they are able to operate from the beginning to the end, including apps operation. Among the apps were Power Point, Canva, and Kinemaster with Zoom, Google Meets, Google Classroom, and WhatsApp as teaching platforms.
