Abstract

In recent years, floods Often result in material, financial and even loss of life. The absence of an early warning system when floods occur makes people less aware of the occurrence of floods. In this study, Researchers designed a flood detection system that works automatically to monitor water levels and send an early flood warnings. This water level monitoring system uses the nodemcu esp8266 with ultrasonic sensors and based on IOT to provide real-time the data to find out the water level created at Certain levels. This system is connected online that displays real-time water level data on the thingspeak platform and is integrated with the telegram application as a flood early warning. The results of the test of this system design have accuracy of ultrasonic sensors on the which produce an average error rate of 0.78% and an average error of 1 cm.

Abstract

We report an experimental of free-space optical communication (FSOC) system that use tube propagation simulator (TPS) as the turbulence medium. The FSOC system use wavelength of 1550 nm at the rate transmission of 1000 Mbps and amplified with EDFA at the output of +23 dBm. Index structure of 10-15–10-13 as the representation of atmosphere index turbulences are used for simulation of intensity distribution model or scintillation. The simulation use gammagamma and K model as well. The beam wave propagation models used in simulation are plane wave, spherical wave and Gaussian wave. Spherical wave achieves highest performance via gamma-gamma in strong turbulence. While Gaussian wave achieves highest performance also via K model. We also found, characteristical FSOC system performance is calculated more accurately with gamma-gamma method for strong turbulence than K model. The performances from gamma-gamma for strong turbulence are at 22.55 dB, at 5.33´10-4, and at 9.41 ´10-6.

Abstract

A digital rainbow hologram (DRH) is a potential next-generation three-dimensional display media for the development of modern and smart electronics devices. It is one of the methods that can support the characteristic whereby a realistic display media occupies the space that the real object would have occupied. Since a rainbow hologram records a large amount of spatial or temporal frequency component from the object that represents the rainbow spectrum, a large amount of information needs to be decoded digitally. In this paper, to reconstruct a DRH, we propose a novel method based on the modulation of red, green, and blue spectral components of light by wavelet transform (WT) in the recording and reconstruction processes, which we digitally simulated in a computer using an algorithm. In the simulations, continuous WT (CWT) was based on Haar, Daubechies, Meyer, and Coiflet wavelets with a level set to be two. Based on the results of simulations using CWT, the optimum distance between object and hologram was 30 cm, and the maximum compression was 88.55%, which was achieved with Meyer wavelet. Moreover, optimal de-noising and optimal localization of spatial frequency component based on red, green, and blue spectral components were also achieved using the proposed method.

Abstract

With the growth of digital technology in the stage of industrial revolution 4.0, the demand for broadcasting large amounts of information to last mile users has increased. Free-space optical (FSO) communication is one of the telecommunication platforms that has shown immense potential in meeting the demand for information broadcasting. In this work, the performance of FSO communication based on wavelength division multiplexing with a data rate of 80 Gbps is investigated through simulations. The configuration of optical amplifiers in the FSO system is set up on the basis of the amplify-forward and amplify-received configurations to expand the network. The investigation is aimed at identifying the best optical signal amplification between an erbium-doped fiber amplifier (EDFA) and a semiconductor optical amplifier (SOA) under an atmospheric channel. Simulation results show that the EDFA performs better than the SOA in terms of the optical signal amplification for eight channels of the C band. The maximum optical propagation path length under the atmospheric channel for the amplify-forward and -received schemes using the EDFA is 1.7 km, with the bit error rate achieved at 10−6.

Abstract

The hydrogen production was studied using Scenedesmus sp. by PHM-S media under anaerobic and photosynthesis process. The Investigated of hydrogen gas using by Natural Gas Analyzer (NGA): HP (Hewlett Packard) 6890 with a molecular sieve 5A (CH4, O2. N2, H2) a thermal conductivity detector is used in a mesh-packed column. The results show highest value of hydrogen production in second experiment. It was obtained because the second experiment had longer for incubation time so the photosynthesis process was took longer then algae could produce more hydrogen gas. Interestingly, the hydrogen does not produce within a certain timeframe. We believe that this was related to the reaction enzymatic in algae that was mostly induced by the oxygen, an inhibitor of the hydrogenate enzyme, was reduced during anaerobic adaptation, resulting in an increase in hydrogen production.

Abstract

Teknologi saat ini begitu cepat berkembang, sehingga teknologi komunikasi dan informasi semakin maju dan kebutuhan para pengguna teknologi akan informasi pun semakin bertambah, kecepatan dan keakuratan data sangat diperlukan untuk mencari informasi yang dibutuhkan. Khususnya dalam kontes cupang dituntut pada saat ini adalah dengan mudahnya pembelian tiket juga informasi pada kontes. Dalam kontes pun sangat membutuhkan sistem informasi seperti ini untuk memudahkan dari para peserta dan pihak penyelenggara yang mana kebanyakan masih dilakukan secara manual sehingga pada saat ini sangat tidak efisien untuk melakukan pendataan peserta dan juga pembelian tiket kontes. Dalam hal ini untuk pendataan pembeli tiket pun menjadi lebih mudah sehingga tidak lagi menggunakan cara manual karena semua sudah bisa di mutasi dari sistem yang tercatat. Metode User Centered Design (UCD) untuk merancang sistem informasi berbasis web, merancang desain Website Kontes Cupang dan dalam pengujian web menggunakan metode User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) untuk kenyamanan pengguna Website. Dari hasil pengujian metode User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ), didapatkan mean 1.401 masuk dalam kategori sistem baik.

Abstract

Microsoft PowerPoint is an application that is often used in presentations because of the ease of operation. Even so, users are still required to adjust the presentation manually such as starting a slide, continuing to the next slide, returning to the previous slide, and so on by pressing the keyboard button. Often, it is difficult for users to reach the computer while doing a presentation in front of many people and it will certainly take time. The purpose of this research is to reduce physical contact between users and computers by using voice instead of keyboard commands to operate the presentation so that it is more effective. This research implements the Hidden Markov Models base of Microsoft Speech API in C# programming language. The tolerance level of word pattern changes approaching the original word is 84.29% and the accuracy of the program running in the clear background is 100%. Users can use the application with a microphone or the like as input that is compatible with their computer.

Abstract

Pesantren merupakan wahana pendidikan agama Islam yang berkembang pesat dan menjadi basis dalam pendalaman ilmu fiqih dan tarbiyah. Pesantren berkembang diseluruh penjuru nusantara dengan ciri khas baik tradisional dan modern. Pesantren merupakan wahana pendidikan yang memiliki potensi dalam penerapan program lingkungan berkelanjutan atau pencapaian Sustainability Development Goals (SDGs). Dalam kegiatan pelatihan web-tracking yang telah dilakukan Tim Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) Universitas Nasional (UNAS) melalui bentuk kerjasama dengan Pusat Pengkajian Islam (PPI-UNAS) telah berhasil dilakukan perancangan web-tracking dan workshop pemanduan penggunaan. Masalah yang dihadapi PPI-UNAS dalam upaya melakukan pemetaan potensi penerapan program lingkungan yang berkelanjutan di pesantren yakni belum tersedianya system pemetaan pesantren yang menerapkan program lingkungan dan potensi keberlanjutan penerapannya. Untuk itulah PPI-UNAS memerlukan solusi web yang berfungsi sebagai tracking program lingkungan yang dinamakan web-tracking ekopesantren. Metode perancangan web yang digunakan oleh Tim PKM UNAS adalah dengan self-assessment berbasis 10 program lingkungan. Kuesioner dalam web disusun terdiri atas 50 pertanyaan dengan jawaban skala Likert yakni scoring nilai 0 – 100. Jawaban diberikan dalam bentuk pilihan dan uraian penjelasan serta diberikan data pendukung berupa dokumentasi dan foto. Selanjutnya Tim PkM UNAS memberikan pelatihan kepada 123 peserta dari pesantren untuk uji coba penggunaan web-tracking. Metode pelatihan yang diterapkan dalam PkM adalah menggunakan metode direct coaching. Pelatihan web-tracking dilakukan di 3 kota besar yakni Medan, Bandung dan Yogyakarta pada 4 – 25 Oktober 2022. Dari hasil implementasi pada 123 peserta pesantren yang diundang dalam kegiatan workshop, web-tracking ekopesantren berhasil digunakan dengan mudah dan bersifat user friendly. Data yang diberikan oleh pesantren dapat dimasukkan ke system web-tracking dengan mudah dan menghasilkan gambaran pemetaan penerapan 10 program lingkungan. Hasil pelatihan penggunaan web dengan metode direct coaching berdasarkan penilain umpan balik peserta adalah web-tracking mudah digunakan 89,4%, pertanyaan kuesioner self-assessment relevan dengan 10 program lingkungan 97,56%, self-assessment membantu pesantren dalam pemetaan program lingkungan 88,6%, penyampaian materi jelas 90,2%, dan acara diselenggarakan panitia dengan layanan yang baik 96,7%.

Abstract

Financial institutions offer cash loans with lighter terms and collateral compared to banks, including motor vehicle ownership as collateral. This study focuses on implementing a web-based Loan Application Information System using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method at CV. Taruna Jaya Nusantara. The research aims to enhance the efficiency of the loan application process and evaluate loan feasibility. The system development method is integrated with web technology, with SAW used to measure relevant criteria. Implementing the Loan Application Information System with SAW significantly simplifies decision-making, reduces potential errors, and improves loan feasibility evaluation. Based on the ranking results, V1 = 1.9; V2 = 1.779; V3 = 2.0625. The selection process uses a tolerance limit for acceptance, where the accepted value threshold is set at > 2. Thus, it can be concluded that A3 with a value of 2.0625 meets the criteria for recommendation.

Abstract

In high school, the aim is to improve the effectiveness and time efficiency of the student performance assessment process. The solution obtained is to use the bubble sort algorithm, which will be optimized to increase the performance of the bubble sort algorithm and generate more efficient results. In the implementation of the bubble sort algorithm for this research, the sorting is done in descending order, starting from the smallest value. Consequently, the first position with the highest value is obtained as "94" for Nurlita Hasibuan, and the lowest value is "56" for Hendro Mahardika. In this study, the optimization of the algorithm resulted in a time complexity of ???? (???? ????og (????)), which performed efficiently. The system testing in this research utilized the SUS method, and the final result obtained a SUS score of "83.95", which corresponds to a grade A with an Excellent rating.
