Abstract

Ruang Hilbert atas lapangan bilangan kompleks (C) dapat dibangun dari suatu ruang inner product (inner product space). Ruang Hilbert merupakan ruang inner product yang lengkap yaitu ruang inner product yang setiap barisan Cauchynya konvergen. Pada ruang Hilbert dapat didifinisikan suatu operator linear terbatas T pada ruang Hilbert akan terdapat dengan tunggal operator adjoint dari T yaitu T* yang juga merupakan operator linear terbatas.Kata kunci: ruang inner product, ruang Hilbert, operator linear terbatas, operator adjoin

Abstract

The aim of this study is to to describe students' understanding concepts in solving algebraic problems with visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles. This research is a qualitative research with a qualitative descriptive method. The research subject was students of class VII SMP Negeri 2 Puring who had visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles with 2 students' learning styles each. The technique of taking the subject uses purposive. The instruments used were questionnaires and tests. The results of this study show that (1) Understanding the concept of restating a concept on the elements of algebraic form fulfilled by students with visual and auditory styles. (2) classifying objects according to certain characteristics in determining similar and dissimilar terms and its reasons have not been fulfilled by all student learning styles. (3) providing examples and non-examples of the concept in determining similar and dissimilar tribes fulfilled by students with kinesthetic learning styles. (4) presenting concepts in various forms of mathematical representations in making mathematical models have not been fulfilled by all student learning styles. (5) use, utilize, and select certain procedures or operations in determining operations fulfilled by all student learning styles. (6) applying the concept or problem solving algorithm in applying the concept of algebraic forms has not been fulfilled by all student learning styles.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the mistakes made by students in class VIII SMPN 22 Purworejo in solving the problem of building a flat side space based on information processing theory. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The subjects of this research were 3 students taken from 5 students of class VIIIB SMPN 22 Purworejo. The results showed that students' errors based on the information processing stages were found in the retieval stage. rehearsal and encoding. Errors in the retrieval stage include (1) errors in the use of arithmetic operations; (2) errors in the use of formulas. errors in the rehearsal stage, namely the repetition of concepts or values that are wrong and errors in the encoding stage, namely students do not re-check every answer produced.

Abstract

This research aims to describe metacognitive skills of climber students in solving mathematic problems in class VIII junior high school. The subject of research isthree climber students of Junior High School 3 Purworejo. The research method used qualitative with the form of phenomenological research. The subject of research is climber students of Junior High School 3 Purworejo. The research instrument is an Adversity Quotient questionnaire, mathematic troubleshooting test, and interviews. Data collection techniques are conducted by collecting data from writing test and interview with students. The results showed that climber students planning skills at the stage of understanding problems and planning problem solving is aware in predicting the knowledge of materials needed and have the thoroughness in digging information that is important in the matter, aware of the plan used and able to realize the relationship with the problems that ever worked. Climber students monitoring skills on the stage of implementing a solving plan, students are aware in the process of solving questions and aware that previous strategies can assist in solving the problem, students also aware and confident with the results of his work. Mean while, climber students evaluation skills realize that the results are correct, but students not realize that there are other strategies that can solve the problem.

Abstract

Education was strongly influenced by technological advances, moreover, teachers were required to be creative and innovative. One of them which can be applied for learning media was following existing technological developments. This study aims to produce learning media for ethnomathematics based visual novel games and to determine the validity, practicality and effectiveness to be suitably used by junior high school students. The development model used in this research was the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) development model. This studied was involved 30 students and mathematics teacher at the analysis stage, three experts at the product validation stage and 10 students at the implementation stage. The resulted of the development research were in the form of ethnomathematics-based visual novel game media with a validity score of 86.7% (very valid criteria), a practicality score of 3.3 (good criteria), a score of 90% student learning completeness (complete) and a conceptual understanding of 83.7 % (very good criteria). From the resulted of the study it was concluded that the media was suitable to be used and increased students' conceptual understanding because it met the valid, practical and effective criteria.

Abstract

[Bahasa]: Penelitian kuantitatif ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara readiness, self-confidence, serta readiness dan self-confidence secara bersama-sama terhadap penguasaan mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Geometri Transformasi. Populasi penelitian adalah mahasiswa program studi pendidikan matematika yang mengambil mata kuliah Geometri Transformasi. Sampel diambil 25% dari populasi. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner untuk mengukur readiness dan self-confidence dan dokumentasi untuk memperoleh data penguasaan mahasiswa. Analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi dan analisis korelasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara readiness, self-confidence, serta readiness dan self-confidence secara bersama-sama terhadap penguasaan mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Geometri Transformasi. [English]: This quantitative research aims to determine whether there is a positive and significant influence between; 1) readiness to learn and students’ mastery 2) self-confidence and student’s mastery, and 3) readiness to learn and self-confidence collectively together with students' mastery in Transformation Geometry course. The population of this research is students of Mathematics Education Program who took Transformation Geometry course. The Sample is taken 25% of the population. The data collection uses questionnaires to measure the readiness to learn and self-confidence, and documentation methods to acquire data students' mastery of Transformation Geometry course. Data analysis employs regression analysis and correlation analysis. The results show that there is a positive and significant influence between; 1) student’s readiness to learn with students' mastery, 2) self-confidence with student’s mastery, and 3) readiness to learn and self-confidence collectively together with student’s mastery of Transformation Geometry course.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the feasibility and produce an ethnomathematics e-module by integrating cultural products in Central Java for Junior High School students. The method used in this research is a research and development method by using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The study conducts in seventh grade Junior High School in the 2019/2020 academic year. Tests and non-tests showed data collection techniques in this study in the form of a questionnaire response. The analysis technique uses the e-module feasibility analysis that meets the valid, practical, and useful criteria. The results showed that the ethnomathematics-based e-module assessment of Central Java cultural products validated by media experts, material experts, and cultural experts. In this study, ethnomathematics-based e-modules meet valid criteria with an average of 3,7. The mean score of material experts by the teacher was 3,5; material by the lecturer was 3,4; media was 3,9, and culture was 3,9. Meeting the practicality criteria was obtained from the results of the average assessment of student response questionnaires was 3,127 or 78,17% with positive response criteria, and teacher questionnaire response was 3,7 or 92,5% with very positive response criteria. Meeting the effectiveness criteria was shown based on 23 student achievement tests, 87% of students were declared complete. The ethnomathematics-based e-module of Central Java cultural products is suitable for use by Junior High School students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui model pembelajaran Cooperative Script memberikan kemampuan pemecahan masalah yang lebih baik daripada model pembelajaran CIRC pada siswa yang memiliki gaya kognitif FI dan FD. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimental semu. Populasi penelitian yaitu semua siswa kelas VII SMP N 2 Kepil Tahun Pelajaran 2019/2020. Sampel penelitian 2 kelas, yaitu kelas VII C sebagai kelas eksperimen 1 dengan model pembelajaran Cooperative Script dan kelas VII D sebagai kelas eksperimen 2 dengan model pembelajaran CIRC. Hasil penelitian dengan = 5% diperoleh nilai Fab = 15,52 dengan DK = {F | F > 4,08} maka Fab DK sehingga H0AB ditolak, artinya terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan gaya kognitif terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Karena H0AB ditolak maka dilanjutkan dengan uji komparasi ganda, diperoleh nilai rata-rata siswa dengan model pembelajaran Cooperative Script pada siswa yang memiliki gaya kognitif FI dan FD adalah 66,42 dan nilai rata-rata siswa dengan model pembelajaran CIRC pada siswa yang memiliki gaya kognitif FI dan FD adalah 71,84. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran CIRC memberikan kemampuan pemecahan masalah yang lebih baik daripada model pembelajaran Cooperative Script pada siswa yang memiliki gaya kognitif FI dan FD.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan faktor apa saja yang menyebabkan kecemasan belajar matematika yang ditinjau berdasarkan hasil belajar pada siswa SMA. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Prembun. Teknik pengambilan subjek yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling dan snowball sampling. Pengambilan data penelitian menggunakan angket, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis yang digunakan yaitu teknik Miles Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan faktor penyebab kecemasan belajar matematika dengan kategori hasil belajar tinggi yaitu faktor lingkungan berupa tertekan saat pembelajaran daring, faktor intelektual meliputi kebingungan dengan materi, dan faktor lainnya yaitu takut jika nilai tidak sesuai dengan harapan. Kategori hasil belajar sedang faktor penyebabnya yaitu faktor intelektual berupa kurang paham dengan matematika, faktor kepribadian meliputi kurangnya kepercayaan diri, dan faktor lingkungan meliputi takut tidak dapat menyelesaikan persoalan di depan kelas. Kategori hasil belajar rendah faktor penyebabnya adalah faktor intelektual berupa kurangnya pemahaman matematika serta cemas saat ujian, dan faktor lingkungan meliputi takut saat pembelajaran tatap muka.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan berpikir komputasional siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematika. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Teknik pengambilan subjek pada penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling dan snowball sampling. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Purworejo dengan kemampuan tinggi yang sudah memperoleh materi pola bilangan. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu dengan menggunakan tes, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan catatan lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa dengan kemampuan tinggi telah mampu menyelesaikan soal masalah matematika dengan memuat aspek berpikir komputasional. Aspek yang termuat yaitu dekomposisi masalah, pengenalan pola, abstraksi, dan berpikir algoritma. Berpikir algoritma dilakukan dari awal hingga akhir. Langkah pertama yang dilakukan oleh siswa yaitu melakukan dekomposisi masalah, namun telah didahului berpikir algoritma dalam menentukan kegiatan dekomposisi masalah yang akan dilakukan oleh siswa. Sedangkan, abstraksi berlangsung sejak siswa melakukan dekomposisi masalah dengan langkah mengubah masalah matematika menjadi model matematika. Setelah dekomposisi masalah, muncul pengenalan pola yang mana langkah pengenalan pola ini tidak sepenuhnya dilakukan secara tertulis.
