Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian Pra Eksprimen yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar Fisika siswa kelas VIIIASMP Unismuh Makassar jika diajar dengan menggunakan  strategi active knowledge sharing (saling tukar pengetahuan). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIIIA sebanyak 22 peserta didik. Data hasil analisis deskriptif yang diperoleh dari skor rata-rata hasil belajar fisika siswa kelas VIIIA SMP Unismuh Makassar setelah diajar dengan strategi active knowledge sharing (saling tukar pengetahuan) sebesar 14 dan standar deviasi 4,54. Hasil analisis inferensial menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar fisika siswa kelas VIIIA SMP Unismuh Makassar tahun ajaran 2016/2017 setelah diajar dengan menggunakan strategi active knowledge sharing (saling tukar pengetahuan) terjadi peningkatan signifikan dibandingkan dengan sebelum diajar dengan menggunakan strategi active knowledge sharing (saling tukar pengetahuan) pada taraf nyata α = 0,05.Kata kunci: strategi active knowledge sharing, hasil belajar fisika.This research was pre-experimental research which aims to identify the students’ learning outcome in physics of class VIIIA SMP Unismuh Makassar if taught using activity strategy of knowledge sharing (exchange of knowledge). Subjects in this study were students of class VIIIA which was 22 learners. The result of descriptive data analysis obtained from the average score of students’ learning outcomes in physics at class VIIIA  of SMP Unismuh Makassar after being taught by using active strategy of knowledge sharing (exchange of knowledge) was 14 and standard deviation was 4,54. The results of inferential analysis showed that the learning outcomes of students in physics  at class VIIIA of SMP Unismuh Makassar academic year 2016/2017 after being taught by using active knowledge sharing strategy (exchange of knowledge) there was a significant improvement compared with before teaching by using active strategy of knowledge sharing (exchange of knowledge) the real level of α = 0,05.Key words: strategy of active knowledge sharing, learning outcome in physics.

Abstract

This study has the aim of analyzing student learning outcomes after being taught by using a brain based learning model and analyzing the influence/impact of brain based learning on student learning outcomes. This research is a true experimental posttest only control design, which consists of a control class of 34 students and an experimental class of 34 students. The independent variable of this research is the brain based learning model, while the dependent variable is the physics learning outcome. The research instrument used the form of multiple choice tests on static fluid material as many as 25 questions. The data analysis technique used consisted of descriptive analysis and inferential analysis, namely the t test using the SPSS 24 application, but previously the initial assumption test was carried out as a normality test and homogeneity as a t test requirement. If the initial assumption test results do not meet, then non-parametric analysis will be used. The results of descriptive analysis can be stated that the average score of students' physics learning outcomes with brain based learning as a learning model is higher than in conventional classes or classes that do not use brain based learning. The high results of student learning in classes with brain based learning are due to the influence/impact of learning by using this model. This research can give results that there is an influence/impact of brain based learning as a learning model on physics learning outcomes. Students optimize their brain work if they use a brain based learning model so that physics learning outcomes increase.

Abstract

In the last three years based on SBMPTN data, interest in the Physics Education Department has decreased drastically in various Public universities in Indonesia which has an impact on private universities, especially at Unismuh Makassar. The desired research objective is to analyze the factors that influence the interest of prospective students towards the Department of Physics Education at Unismuh Makassar. Quantitative descriptive research is the type of research used with the population of senior high school in Gowa Regency which consists of a sample of 50 class XII students from Public senior high school 1 Gowa, Public senior high school 19 Gowa, senior high school Handayani Sungguminasa, andsenior high school Aksara Bajeng. Questionnaire is an instrument used to obtain research data which was analyzed by exploratory factor analysis (EFA). The results of the analysis in this study obtained 4 factors that influence the interest of prospective students towards the Department of Physics Education at Unismuh Makassar, namely personal and parental motivation factors, environmental factors that like Physics Education, physics content factors, and employment factors.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pembelajaran IPA di SMP Unismuh Makassar masih bersifat konvensional, yaitu pembelajaran didominasi oleh kegiatan ceramah dan diskusi. Keterbatasan Komponen Instrumen Terpadu (KIT) Praktikum dan kurangnya Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) yang mampu mendesain praktikum merupakan permasalahan mitra. Kegiatan Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kompetensi pengelolaan laboratorium Guru IPA melalui Workshop Pembelajaran KIT IPA Berbasis Lingkungan di SMP Unismuh Makassar, dengan jumlah peserta 6 (enam) orang. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi beberapa tahap yaitu: (1) Persiapan, berupa identifikasi sasaran kegiatan yang difokuskan pada guru IPA yang belum berpengalaman dengan KIT IPA, bahan materi, dan instruktur pelatihan yang kompeten di bidangnya, (2) Pelaksanaan pelatihan. Pada kegiatan ini dibagi sasaran kegiatan menjadi dua bagian, yang pertama untuk guru yang belum mengenal KIT IPA Berbasis Lingkungan sebagai sasaran pertama, dan untuk guru yang sudah mengenal KIT IPA Berbasis Lingkungan sebagai sasaran kedua. (3) evaluasi kegiatan workshop. Hasil yang diperoleh dari kegiatan ini yaitu pemahaman peserta meningkat sebanyak 80 persen, menghasilkan produk KIT IPA berbasis lingkungan yang kreatif dan inovatif. Serta guru dapat menjadi pelaku usaha bidang pemasaran KIT IPA Berbasis Lingkungan.Abstract: Science learning at SMP Unismuh Makassar is still conventional; lectures and discussions dominate knowledge. The limitations of the Practicum Integrated Instrument (KIT) and the lack of Human Resources who can design practicums are partner problems, this service activity aims to improve the competence of science teacher laboratory management through an Environmentally-Based Science KIT learning workshop at SMP Unismuh Makassar, with a total of 6 (six) participants. The implementation method includes several stages, namely (1) preparation, identifying activity targets focused on science teachers who are not experienced with KIT science, materials, and training instructors who are competent in their fields, (2) implementation of training. In this activity, the activity’s objectives are divided into two parts. The first is for teachers who are not familiar with the Environmental-Based Science KIT as the first target, and teacher who are familiar with the Environment-Based Science KIT as the second target. (3) evaluation of workshop activities. The results obtained from this activity are that participants’ understanding by 80 percent, resulting in creative and innovative environmental-based KIT science products. And teachers can become business actors in the marketing of Environmental-Based Science KIT.

Abstract

Abstrak: Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang berupa aplikasi budidaya kangkung hidroponik dan ikan nila dengan sistem aquaponik dilaksanakan di Kelurahan Bontomanai, Kabupaten Gowa. Tujuan dari kegiatan PKM ini adalah memanfaatkan lahan pekarangan rumah agar bernilai produktif dan mengedukasi masyarakat dengan sistem budidaya yang ramah lingkungan. Tahapan pelaksanaan PKM ini meliputi tahapan survei lapangan dan kondisi mitra, sosialisasi kegiatan sebagian besar dilakukan melalui telepon, berhubung saat ini sedang terjadi pandemi Covid-19 yang membatasi aktivitas di luar rumah, penyemaian bibit kangkung, pemasangan kolam instalasi Aquaponik, serta kegiatan pendampingan.  Teknologi yang digunakan yaitu budidaya sistem aquaponik, yang memanfaatkan limbah (kotoran) ikan nila sebagai pupuk alami bagi tanaman kangkung yang diletakkan di atasnya. Dari hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan PKM dihasilkan 1 (satu) unit kolam budidaya aquaponik, peningkatan pengetahuan masyarakat, khususnya pada mitra PKM ini.Abstract: Community Service Activities in the form of hydroponic water spinach and tilapia aquaculture applications system are carried out in Bontomanai village, Gowa regency. The purpose of this PKM activity is to utilize home yards for production value andto educate the public with an environmentally friendly cultivation system. The stages of implementing this PKM include the stages of field surveys and partner conditions. Next socialization of activities is mostly carried out by telephone since currently there is a Covid-19 pandemic which limits activities outside the home. Seeding kale seeds, installing Aquaponic installation ponds, spreading tilapia fish, and planting water spinach on Aquaponic installation, as well as assistance activities. The technology used is Aquaponic Cultivation System, which utilize tilapia waste (manure) as a natural fertilizer for kale plants placed on it. From the results of the implementation of PKM activities is 1 (one) Aquaponic cultivation pond unit was produced, increasing public knowledge, especially on this PKM partner.

Abstract

This research is a development research using themethod, ADDIEnamely Analysis, Design, Development , Implementation and Evaluations, which aims to develop an automatic egg incubator as a physics learning product by applying temperature and heat material and knowing the feasibility of an automatic egg incubator. The results achieved in this study were an automatic egg incubator product that met the valid criteria, namely 89%, while the results of individual trials conducted on students gave a positive response with a percentage of 85.33% and field trials in the community gave a positive response with a percentage. 86.67% of the two trial results met the very feasible criteria.

Abstract

This research is a Pre-Experimental study using the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design which aims to find out: (1) the magnitude of physics learning outcomes of XI MIPA SMA N 8 Gowa students before and after applying the problem based learning model (2) differences in physics learning outcomes of students class XI MIPA SMA N 8 Gowa before and after the problem based learning model is applied. The population in this study were students of class XI MIPA of SMA N 8 Gowa, amounting to 136 students divided into 4 classes, the study sample was taken randomly with a simple random sampling technique of 1 class, namely XI MIPA. The research instrument used was a physics learning achievement test instrument in the form of multiple choice of 27 numbers that met valid criteria.The data analysis technique used in this study is to use descriptive tests that are useful to test average scores, standard deviation and inferential test that are useful for testing normality and hypothesis testing. From the results of the study it can be concluded that: (1) The physics learning outcomes of students before applying the problem based learning model to students of class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 8 Gowa in the 2019/2020 school year the average score obtained was 12,82; (2) the physics learning outcomes of students after applying the problem based learning model to students of class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 8 Gowa in the 2019/2020 school year the average score obtained was 17,15; (3) There are differences in students' physics learning outcomes before and after the problem based learning model is applied to the students of Class XI MIPA in SMA Negeri 8 Gowa in the academic year 2019/2020. So it can be concluded that the problem based learning model can be applied toimprove student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar hasil belajar Fisika siswa kelas VIII SMP Unismuh Makassar sebelum dan sesudah diajar dengan menggunakan strategi The Learning Cell. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pra eksperimen dengan menggunakan desain The One Group Pretest-Posttest Design dengan melibatkan variabel terikat yaitu hasil belajar Fisika dan variabel bebas yaitu strategi The Learning Cell. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Unismuh Makassar pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2016/2017 sebanyak 55 peserta didik dengan sampel sebanyak 30 peserta didik yang ditentukan melalui random sampling. Hipotesis penelitian ini adalah terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar Fisika siswa kelas VIIIB SMP Unismuh Makassar sebelum dan sesudah diajar dengan menggunakan strategi The Learning Cell. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan skor rata-rata hasil belajar Fisika siswa kelas VIIIB SMP Unismuh Makassar setelah diajar dengan menggunakan strategi The Learning Cell sebesar 13,93 dan standar deviasi sebesar 5,09. Hasil analisis inferensial menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar Fisika siswa setelah menggunakan strategi The Learning Cell lebih besar dibandingkan dengan sebelum diajar dengan strategi The Learning Cell pada taraf nyata  = 0,05.Kata kunci: Penelitian Pra-eksperimen, strtegi The Learning Cell, hasil belajar This research aims to find out the results of physics learning of eighth grade of Junior High School Unismuh Makassar before and after taught using The Learning Cell strategy. This research is a pre-experimental study using the design of The One Group Pretest-Posttest Design by involving dependent variables namely the results of Physics learning and the independent variable namely The Learning Cell strategy. The population in this study were all students of class VIII Junior High School Unismuh Makassar in 2016/2017 year. The sample of 30 students from 55 student through random sampling. The hypothesis of this research there was a significant difference between the results of Physics learning of Junior High School Unismuh Makassar VIIIB grade students before and after being taught using The Learning Cell strategy. The results of descriptive analysis showed the average score of Physics learning outcomes of VIIIB grade students of Junior High School Unismuh Makassar after being taught using The Learning Cell strategy of 13,93 and a standard deviation of 5,09. The results of inferential analysis showed that students' learning outcomes after using The Learning Cell strategy are greater than before being taught with The Learning Cell strategy at a significant level of α = 0.05.Keywords: Pre-experiment research, The Learning Cell strategy, learning outcomes

Abstract

Motivation is something that comes from within an individual that can influence individual activities to achieve goals in his life. Learning motivation influences learning objectives and impacts on learning outcomes. This journal aims to find out whether learning motivation influences students' natural science learning outcomes in Makassar Unismuh Middle School. The number of students in this study was 50 people. Data retrieval is done through learning motivation questionnaires and science learning outcomes tests. This study uses SPSS 24 to calculate the relationship or correlation between motivation and learning outcomes. This study resulted in a very significant relationship between motivation to learn and learning outcomes.Keywords: Learning Motivation, Learning OutcomesMotivasi adalah sesuatu yang berasal dari dalam diri individu yang dapat mempengaruhi kegiatan individu guna mencapai tujuan dalam hidupnya. Motivasi belajar mempengaruhi tujuan pembelajaran dan berdampak pada hasil belajar. Jurnal ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah motivasi belajar berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar IPA peserta didik di SMP Unismuh Makassar. Jumlah peserta didik dalam penelitian ini adalah 50 orang. Pengambilan data dilakukan melaui kuesioner motivasi belajar dan tes hasil belajar IPA. Penelitian ini menggunakan SPSS 24 untuk menghitung hubungan atau korelasi antara motivasi dan hasil belajar. Penelitian ini menghasilkan adanya hubungan yang sangat signifikan antara motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar.Kata kunci: Motivasi Belajar, Hasil Belajar
