Abstract

Water pollution effect on aquatic organisms and if consumed can affect people's health. These pollutants can be heavy metals such as Cd, Pb, Cr, Hg, and others. Heavy metals have high levels will cause disorders of the kidneys, brain, severe irritation to the skin, can cause diarrhea and even death. The purpose of this paper is to explain physiological mechanisms that occur in the body of gastropods are linked to pollutants in the water environment. Therefore, monitoring the level of pollution a body of water that is alleged to have suffered contamination is very important. Gastropods are one of the aquatic animals (Class) used as bioindicators and biomonitoring for this group of animals has a high ability to accumulate heavy metals in their bodies compared to other aquatic animals. Gastropods is one bioavailability against metal pollution so that it can be used for environmental monitoring. Littoraria scabra, Nassarius reticulatus, Nerita albicilla, Nucella lapillus, Gibberulus gibbosus, Terebralia palustris, and Telescopium telescopiun always use as biomonitoring metal pollution. The main indicator that can be shown by gastropods is declining abundance and body size. Other indicators are as bioavailability of heavy metals in the soft tissues and shells. The ability of the heavy metal deposits is influenced by environmental factors, body size, weight, and gender. Heavy metals can affect hard, thickness, volume, and color of the shell.

Abstract

Plankton dan bentos sangat penting peranannya karena dapat dijadikan sebagai bioindikator. Kelompok ini dapat menjadi indikator kesehatan lingkungan. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan di muara sungai Tamanroya di Desa Parak, Kabupaten Kepulauan Selayar pada bulan Juli 2020. Sampel plankton diambil dengan cara menyaring air dengan menggunakan plankton net. Sampel bentos diambil secara random dengan menggunakan plot ukuran 1x1 m2 pada lokasi penelitian. Analisis yang dilakukan yaitu indeks keanekaragaman, indeks keseragaman, dan indeks dominansi. Indeks keanekaragaman menunjukkan nilai stabil (H’= 2,608), indeks keseragaman menunjukkan nilai mendekati 1 (E = 0,843), dan indeks dominansi mendekati 0 (C = 0,127) pada kelompok fitoplankton. Indeks keanekaragaman menunjukkan nilai sedang (H’= 1,480), indeks keseragaman menunjukkan nilai mendekati 1 (0,920), dan indeks dominansi mendekati 0 (C = 0,253) pada kelompok zooplankton. Indeks keanekaragaman menunjukkan nilai rendah (H’= 0,283), indeks keseragaman menunjukkan nilai mendekati 1 (C = 0,905), dan indeks dominansi mendekati 0 (E = 0,283)pada kelompok bentos. Kondisi muara sungai Tamanroya tergolong belum tercemar berdasarkan indeks keanekaragaman plankton. Jika berdasarkan nilai indeks keanekaragaman bentos, maka tergolong tercemar berat.

Abstract

Anchovies are little pelagic fish that are widely distributed in the ocean. This fish has great potential, therefore it must be nurtured. The classic review is the research approach utilized in the literature review. The Mediterranean Sea, Northwest Africa, Bone Bay, Jepara, Ambon Bay, Morocco's Atlantic Coast, Kayeli Bay, Sri Lanka, India, Malaysia, the Red Sea of Eritrea, and Argentina are inhabited to 172 species of anchovy. The catch size, length, and weight of the fish also vary considerably. Seasonal and environmental variables play a significant effect. In certain areas, the potentials for collecting anchovies can still be expanded while maintaining sustainability. This fish is consumed by the general populace. Comprehensive nutrient profile so that it may be turned into food products (food diversification). Moreover, anchovies include vitamins A, B12, D, and E. Dried anchovies, pepes, tinned anchovies, peanut brittle, fried flour anchovies, cassava/kaoami, biscuits, snacks, chili sauce, infant food additions, and anchovies crispy-sweet are among the several forms of anchovies. By empowering the community, anchovy diversification is accomplished very successfully since it may boost their economic. Anchovy waste may also be converted into fish meal for use as quail feed

Abstract

Biodiversitas atau keanekaragaman hayati mencakup tingkat gen, spesies, maupun ekosistem. Semua makhluk hidup juga merupakan bagian dari biodiversitas. Bioinformatika merupakan gabungan Ilmu Biologi dan Ilmu Teknik Informasi sehingga sangat penting dalam pengelolaan data khususnya materi genetik. Kegiatan ini bertujuan memberikan informasi kepada masyarakat mengenai pentingnya biodiversitas dan bioinformatika. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan secara daring dengan menggunakan aplikasi ZOOM. Angket dibagikan ke peserta melalui Google Form. Hasil kegiatan ini diperoleh bahwa kegiatan ini mendapat respon yang sangat baik karena 78% atau 64 peserta yang puas dengan kegiatan ini.

Abstract

This thinks about points to create an appraisal of thinking skills of interpretation, analysis, and inference through analytical essay assessment instruments, worksheets, and problem-solving. Preliminary investigation of the advancement of basic considering aptitudes assessment instruments for prospective Physics teachers in the last 3 (three) years in the Basic Physics course, the test instruments in the Basic Physics course have not been fully oriented to indicators of interpretation, analysis, and inference thinking skills. The process of changing Physics learning, both at the tertiary level and at the secondary school level, is directed at training students to use their thinking potential. One of the Physics learning skills mentioned in Permendikbud Number 64 of 2013 is the development of thinking skills of interpretation, analysis, and inference. This shows that the process and evaluation of learning physics, especially basic physics, should be directed at developing thinking skills in interpretation, analysis, and inference. This inquiry is spurred by the requirement for an appraisal instrument that measures critical thinking skills, especially interpretation, analysis, and inference thinking skills. This study aims to develop an assessment of thinking skills of interpretation, analysis, and inference through analytical essay assessment instruments, worksheets, and problem-solving. This study refers to the 4D Thiagarajan model and produces an assessment that measures the ability to think of interpretation, analysis, and inference. The test instrument was created within the shape of essay analysis, and problem-solving on indicators of thinking skills of interpretation, analysis, and inference. The test instrument was further validated by two experts, and it can be concluded that the created test is exceptionally attainable to utilize.

Abstract

Pelatihan pembuatan kerupuk berbahan dasar ikan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan ekonomi Kelompok Perempuan Karang Lestari dengan memanfaatkan ikan sebagai bahan baku yang bernilai ekonomi. Kegiatan ini melibatkan penyampaian materi mengenai teknik pengolahan ikan yang higienis dan aman, serta praktek langsung pembuatan kerupuk ikan. Melalui pelatihan ini, ibu-ibu diajarkan cara-cara memanfaatkan ikan untuk produk olahan yang bernutrisi, serta teknik pemasaran untuk memperluas pasar produk mereka. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar ibu-ibu berhasil mengikuti langkah-langkah pembuatan kerupuk ikan dengan baik. Pelatihan ini memberikan manfaat besar bagi Kelompok perempuan Karang Lestari, tidak hanya dalam hal peningkatan keterampilan, tetapi juga dalam menciptakan peluang usaha dan meningkatkan kemandirian ekonomi di komunitas pesisir. Pendampingan lanjutan mengenai pemasaran dan pengelolaan usaha akan sangat mendukung keberlanjutan usaha berbasis kerupuk ikan di masa depan.

Abstract

This research was conducted in July-September 2018 on the track of the Ramma valley on Mount Bawakaraeng, Gowa Regency from July to September 2018. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative. Observation using transects made 20 plots measuring 2x2 meters. Species samples in the plot were taken and then photographed and identified. This study aims to determine the types and diversity of cover plants (herbs and shrubs) found in the Ramma Valley climbing route on Mount Bawakaraeng, Gowa Regency. The research found 24 species consisting of 19 herbs and 5 shrubs. The diversity index (H ') of herb plants is 2.451 which is moderate, for shrubs it is 1.379 which is low.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the types of mangrove plants and their benefits to the ecosystem in the Aru Islands (Kalar-Kalar Village) from August to October 2020. The method used in this study is the survey method. Sampling in the field was carried out using exploration, interview, and documentation techniques. The results of this study obtained 10 different types of mangroves, namely: Achantus ebracthus, Achantus ilicifolius, Acrostichum aereum, Aegiceras floridum, Avicennia eucalyptifolia, Avicennia lanata, Bruguiera gymnorrhiza, Lumnitzera littorea, Xylocarpus granatum, and Nypa fruticans. Mangrove plants are used as medicine, vegetables, firewood, building materials, and cigarette paper materials. The parts used are the leaves, stems, and fruit.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the abundance and density of sea cucumbers (Holothuroidea) in the intertidal zone of Lau-Lau Village Coastal Waters, Aru Islands Regency. The research consisted of two phases: implementation and identification. The method used was the transect quadrat method (systematic random sampling) with a size of 2x2 meters. Data were calculated and presented in tabular form. Abundance and density were measured at each station. The results indicated that the distance between the shoreline and the transect line was 20 meters. A total of six sea cucumber species were found out of the 60 species recorded in Indonesia. The identified species were Stichopus ocellatus, Holothuria scabra, Bohadschia marmorata, Bohadschia vitiensis, Stichopus monotuberculatus, and Actinopyga lecanora. The highest abundance was found in Holothuria scabra with a total of 64 individuals, while the lowest was in Actinopyga lecanora with only 1 individual. The highest density was also observed in Holothuria scabra, at 0.92 individuals/m², whereas the lowest was in Actinopyga lecanora, with a density of 0.02 individuals/m². ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kelimpahan dan kepadatan teripang (Holothuroidea) di zona intertidal di Perairan Pantai Desa Lau-Lau Kabupaten Kepulauan Aru. Penelitian ini memiliki dua tahapan yaitu tahapan pelaksanaan dan tahapan identifikasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kuadrat transek atau (systematic random) berukuram 2x2 meter. Data dikalkulasi dan disajikan dalam tabel. Kelimpahan dan Kepadatan dihitung pada masing-masing stasiun. Hasil yang ditemukan yaitu jarak antara garis pantai sejajar transek yaitu 20 meter. Jenis teripang yang ditemukan ada 6 spesies dari 60 spesies yang ada di Indonesia. Jenis teripang yang ditemukan yaitu Stichopus ocellatus, Holothuria scabra, Bohadschia marmorata, Bohadschia Vitiensis, Stichopus monotuberculatus dan Actinopyga lecanora. Kelimpahan tertinggi terdapat pada jenis teripang Holothuria scabra dengan total 64 individu, sedangkan kelimpahan terendah terdapat pada jenis teripang Actinopyga lecanora dengan total 1 individu. Kepadatan tertinggi terdapat pada jenis teripang Holothuria scabra dengan jumlah kepadatan 0,92 ( 1 ekor/m² ) dan kepadatan terendah terdapat pada jenis teripang Actinopyga lecanora dengan jumlah kepadatan 0,02 ( 0 ekor/m² ).

Abstract

Abstract: This community service aims to conduct early identification and intervention trainingfor children with learning difficulties at SDN Parinring Makassar. This community service iscarried out with several stages of activities, namely surveys and direct interviews with theprincipal and teachers, planning (compiling materials and instruments for identifying learningdifficulties), providing materials, and mentoring. The results of the study showed that mostteachers did not understand learning difficulties and how to identify them. After the training,teachers were able to understand learning difficulties, how to identify them, and how toovercome them. Teachers can also create instruments to identify students with learningdifficulties and provide mentoring to help these students. The results of the analysis showed thateach class has students with different learning difficulties. Teachers can approach and makestudents more focused when the material is explained, and invite parents to cooperate to careabout their children. This service is expected to improve the quality of education at SDNParinring Makassar and help students achieve their potential optimally) Keywords: identification, learning difficulties Abstrak: Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk melakukan pelatihan identifikasidan intervensi dini untuk anak berkesulitan belajar di SDN Parinring Makassar. Pengabdiandilakukan dengan beberapa tahapan kegiatan, yaitu survei dan wawancara langsung dengankepala sekolah dan guru, perencanaan (menyusun materi dan instrumen pengidentifikasiankesulitan belajar), pemberian materi, dan pendampingan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar guru belum memahami tentang kesulitan belajar dan cara mengidentifikasinya.Setelah dilakukan pelatihan, guru-guru dapat memahami tentang kesulitan belajar, caramengidentifikasi, dan cara mengatasinya. Guru-guru juga dapat membuat instrumen untukmengidentifikasi siswa yang berkesulitan belajar dan melakukan pendampingan untukmembantu siswa tersebut. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa setiap kelas memiliki siswa yang berkesulitan belajar berbeda-beda. Guru-guru dapat melakukan pendekatan dan membuat siswa lebih fokus ketika materi dijelaskan, serta mengajak kerjasama orang tua untuk peduli dengan anaknya. Pengabdian ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di SDN Parinring Makassar dan membantu siswa mencapai potensi mereka secara optimal. Kata kunci: identifikasi, kesulitan belajar
