Abstract

Media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis I-Spring merupakan media pembelajaran yang mengkombinasikan audio, video dan quiz maker yang terintegrasi menjadi satu kesatuan, sehingga memberikan kemudahan bagi tenaga pendidik dalam mentransfer materi bahan ajar kepada peserta didiknya melalui infrastruktur program aplikasi dan pemanfaatan media elektronik sebagai bagian dari metode edukasinya. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berupa pelatihan pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis aplikasi i-spring ditujukan untuk peningkatan kualitas teaching method pada guru SMK di Balikpapan. Peserta pelatihan sekaligus mitra dalam kegiatan ini adalah para guru dan siswa SMK Pangeran Antasari di kota Balikpapan, berjumlah 15 orang guru dari berbagai bidang studi dan 5 orang siswa perwakilan dari kelas X (Sepuluh). Masih minimnnya pengetahuan guru terkait teknologi komputer, maka tim penye- lenggara dari Jurusan Teknik Elektronika Politeknik Negeri Balikpapan memberikan metode pelatihan dengan cara penyampaian materi, praktek langsung dan demonstrasi menyajikan hasil karya dari masing-masing peserta. Hasil evaluasi berdasarkan pengisian kuisioner dan pengamatan langsung, menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan ini berhasil 100% karena peserta pelatihan mampu mengimplementasikan aplikasi I-Spring dalam membuat media pembelajaran multimedia yang dilengkapi soal kuis, meskipun hanya 85% peserta pelatihan yang mampu menganalisa dan mengembangkan secara kreatif materi pelatihan yang diberikan.

Abstract

Long Term Evolution (LTE) merupakan teknologi generasi ke empat (4G) yang dikembangkan oleh 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP). LTE mampu memberikan kecepatan downlink sampai dengan 100 Mbps dan uplink 50 Mbps. Pada penelitian ini akan dilakukan penentuan perfomansi pada rancangan jaringan 4G LTE Frekuensi 1800 MHz dengan menggunakan antenna MIMO 2X2, 4x4 dan 8x8. Perfomansi jaringan 4G LTE yang diamati melalui parameter best signal level, nilai C/ (N+I), throughput, RSRP dan BLER dari perancangan yang telah dilakukan. Metode penelitian dilakukan melalui memvariasikan penggunakan jumlah antenna pengirim dan penerima (Tx dan Rx) antenna MIMO pada jaringan 4G LTE yang ada. Kemudian akan dilanjutkan dengan pengamatan nilai maisng-masing parameter perfomansi jaringan 4G LTE tersebut. Penggunaan Antena MIMO 2x2, memiliki jangkuan area 717,258 km2, signal level - 69.72 dBm, C/(N+I) 5.08 dB, throughput 11,803.4 kbps, RSRP sebesar -115.88 dBm dan BLER 0.03. Penggunaan Antena MIMO 4x4, memiliki jangkuan area 726,432 km2, signal level -69.5 dBm, C/(N+I) 5.58 dB, throughput 11,803.01 kbps, RSRP sebesar -115.64 dBm dan BLER 0.02. Penggunaan Antena MIMO 8x8, memiliki jangkuan area 726,432 km2, signal level -69.5 dBm, C/(N+I) 6.1 dB, throughput 12,564.1 kbps, RSRP sebesar -115.64 dBm dan BLER 0.02. Pada penggunaan Antena MIMO 2x2 , 4x4 dan 8x8 dari jangkauan area, ketiga jenis nya tersebut dapat menjangkau wilayah Balikpapan

Abstract

Gejala Covid-19 selain demam, yang harus diwaspadai oleh masyarakat saat ini adalah kondisi sesak nafas yang dikarenakan yakni penurunan kadar oksigen di dalam darah. Kondisi ini dapat membuat seseorang mengalami masalah pernafasan seperti sesak napas atau dispnea yang bisa berakibatkan fatal terutama bagi masyarakat yang dapat menggangu organ vital yakni jantung dan kadar oksigen dalam hingga menimbulkan kematian. Penelitian ini merancang alat yang bisa mendeteksi gejala klinis penyakit covid -19 yakni sesak nafas melalui pengukuran kadar saturasi okisgen dan denyut jantung untuk gejala sesak nafas dengan penggunaan sensor MAX30100 dan arduino uno sebagai kontroller. Pengujian tingkat saturasi oksigen dan denyut jantung baik pada jari jempol, telunjuk, tengah, kelingking dan manis tidak menunjukan gejala sesak nafas sehinnga dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu smart detektor gejala (sesak nafas) klinis penyakit COVID-19 Buzzer berfungsi dengan baik sebagai indikator peringatan jika nilai saturasi oksigen dan denyut jantung melebihi dari nilai normal. Perbandingan pembacaan hasil gejala klinis sesak nafas melalui tingkat saturasi oksigen. denyut jantung menunjukan hasil yang tidak jauh berbeda diantara alat buatan dan alat yang beredar dipasaran

Abstract

Based on the problems SMK Setia Budi Balikpapan related limitations of the amount of equipment supporting  Digital subjects, therefore the team PkM Balikpapan State Polytechnic community  service activities with the title "Improving Teacher Competence with ICT Utilization through Aplikai Proteus in SMK Setia Budi Balikpapan". PkM implementation methods include pre-test, introduction of Proteus application, Proteus application usage practice, followed by simulation test of learning practice along with monitoring (observation) to partner after PKM activity ends. The purpose of this activity can be achieved by increasing the competence of SMK Setia Budi's teachers  on Proteus Application so that it can be one alternative solution to overcome the limitations of the existing practicum tools especially for Digital Engineering subjects. And from the test results of learning practices from the students also helped to understand the learning materials with the use of this application.

Abstract

Biodiesel is an alternative fuel that is environmentally friendly, has no effect on health, which can be used as a fuel for motor vehicles which can reduce emissions when compared to diesel oil. Biodiesel can be obtained from the recycling of used used oil mixed with chemicals in the form of methanol and NaOH with a ratio (1: 0.5: 0.001). The implementation of biodiesel can replace the function of diesel in a generator engine or dompeng engine. The 2020 PkM activities were held in Karya Merdeka Village, Kutai Kertanegara Regency. Nearly 27% of the population works as smallholders in oil palm plantations. The implementation of PkM lasted for 3 days which was attended by 25 oil palm plantation farmers. The benefit of this activity is that partners are able to recycle and implement biodiesel which is 3 times more efficient than diesel as fuel for dompeng engines (water machines used to irrigate their oil palm plantations). The goal is to save energy, that is, 3 liters of diesel can be replaced with 1 liter of biodiesel. It has been proven that biodiesel is 3 times more efficient than diesel (3 hours: 1 hour) with the same size.

Abstract

Electrical energy is a primary need in modern human life. As the population increases, the demand for electricity will also increase. Under certain conditions, especially for groups of fishermen and fried food traders, especially at night, of course, requires additional equipment that requires fuel oil (BBM) as a source of lighting energy. Based on the field survey, in a month fishermen use 20 liters of diesel x 30 days x Rp. 6000, - = Rp. 3,600,000 to move the generator engine. Therefore, the Balikpapan State Polytechnic PkM team innovated to design a fuelless power plant with a capacity of 300 watts and 1000 watts assembled from a 12 volt 5A battery for a 300 watt inverter and a 12 volt 8A battery for a 1000 watt inverter. The design of this tool is presented in practical form at PkM activities for 3 working days (2 days offline and 1 day online) in Manggar Village which was attended by 20 participants from fishermen and fried food traders. The results of the participant's questionnaire showed that this tool was very useful, at least reducing the use of diesel generators to Rp. 0, - (specifically for lighting purposes at night).

Abstract

Energi listrik merupakan salah satu kebutuhan manusia yang sangat penting karena hampir semua peralatan industry dan rumah tangga menggunakan energy listrik. Oleh sebab itu ketersediaan energi listrik harus tetap tersedia. Berdasarkan kondisi geografis mitra, solusi yang tepat untuk menyediakan sumber energi listrik alternatif adalah perancangan PLTS 20 wp untuk penerangan teras rumah warga di Kelurahan Manggar Kota Balikpapan. Ada 7 unit PLTS 20 wp dan 1 unit kapasitas lebih besar yaitu 50wp yang dilengkapi inverter dan sensor cahaya. Kegiatan dilaksanakan selama 2 pekan. Sosialisasinya dilaksanakan pada tanggal 24 Juni 2022. Dihadiri 15 peserta dari pihak mitra . Kegiatan sosialisasi bertujuan untuk menjelaskan cara pengimplementasian PLTS mini 20 wp, sekaligus tim PkM membantu warga Kelurahan Manggar untuk memasang instalasinya. Sekitar 7 unit PLTS mini 20 wp terpasang di rumah warga dan 1 unit PLTS 50 wp terpasang di kantor Kelurahan Manggar. Hasil pengujian yang dilakukan yaitu PLTS mini 20 wp dapat menyalakan lampu dc 5 watt sebanyak 2 buah selama 12 jam jika proses pengechargesan baterai berlangsung 5 jam saat matahari bersinar terik.

Abstract

Street lamp lighting (SLL) is a complementary element of the street that serves to illuminate the environment around the street, so that road users will feel safe and comfortable. Based on the PkM team survey, RT 100 Manggar Village does not yet have a SLL. Therefore, the PkM team has designed 1 unit of Solar Power Plant (PLTS) with a capacity of 50 wp in the RT with 5 point DC lamp loads on the main road and 1 point placed in a resident's house, as well as placing the panel boxes. The main components of PLTS 50 wp include 50 wp solar panels, 35 ampere controllers, 35 Ah VRLA batteries, fiber cables, 3 watt DC lights, and fittings. The results of the battery endurance test after the solar panel is charged for 5 hours (when the sun is hot), the PLTS is able to turn on 6 light points (3 watts) for 46 hours. This proves that the PLTS is very efficient and suitable to be implemented as a source of PJU electrical energy in Manggar Village, Balikpapan City

Abstract

The results of the survey and field observations to the Partner (Kelurahan Lamaru Balikpapan), the Balikpapan State Polytechnic Village Development team obtained information from interviews with the kelurahan that there were still RT-RT areas that lacked access to street lighting. Includes RT. 8, RT.19, RT 22, RT 23 RT 28. This lack of access to lighting results in frequent traffic accidents for motorists who cross the road and are not criminals at night or in dark conditions. In addition to the problems above, information was also obtained, that fish, which is one of the natural resources at partner locations, is still not optimally utilized because the average catch of residents is directly sold to traditional markets. as street lamp lighting in several RTs that have been determined above and Increasing Diversification of Processed Fish into Shredded and Nugget. The 5 lamp units that were installed were operating well and received a very positive appreciation by the residents. Residents are also given knowledge about solar cell technology and how to maintain the lamp unit so that its use can be maximized. The Village Development Team also conducted training on diversification of tongkol into shreds and nuggets to provide more value added which has an impact on improving the economy of residents at partner locations which is also accompanied by socialization related to the nutritional value of tongkol. In this Community Service Activity, this village development also carried out the handover of 5 units of village street lighting and a set of kitchen utensils for processing tongkol from the team to the kelurahan which was immediately received by the Lamaru village head.

Abstract

Electrical energy is a primary need in modern human life. However, with the increase in fuel prices, the right technology is needed to overcome it, in the form of battery and inverter innovations which are combined to produce an output of 220 volts ac which has the same capacity as PLN electricity. This PkM DPRM activity was held in Manggar Village for 3 days, namely @ u on July 30, August 3 and August 4, 2020 which was attended by fishermen, fried food traders and Manggar Village employees themselves. The equipment is designed with a capacity of 300 watts and 1000 watts, tailored to the needs of the residents. The benefit greatly eases the use of diesel generator sets for fishermen, which from Rp. 108,000 / month, has now become Rp. 0, -. Likewise for fried food traders, who originally paid Rp. 70,000 / month for electricity for lighting at night, now it is Rp. 0, -. Based on the results of the questionnaire, participants are very grateful for the presence of this technology in their village.
