Abstract

Vocational education is in high demand because it prepares students to be job-ready. In learning, it is more about work practices, internships, and in the laboratory than theory in class. Therefore, the existence of laboratories is essential in vocational schools. The research was conducted at the maritime school of SMK Putera Samodra, Yogyakarta, Indonesia, using the quantitative approach of the TOPSIS method to determine the best work behaviour performance from the head of the laboratory. Work behaviour assessment criteria include service orientation, integrity, commitment, discipline, and cooperation. According to the assessment results by the principal and 31 colleagues, the best work behaviour is that of the head of the merchant ship engineering laboratory. Overall, the best work behaviour analysis results can have a positive impact, such as recognition, improved leadership practices, and enhanced performance in all laboratories in vocational schools. Other potential implications of work behaviour research results for schools can be developing leadership with the best strategies, identifying areas for improvement, allocating more resources to laboratories, and the positive effects of leadership qualities on vocational schools.

Abstract

Batik Nitik Kembangsore operates in the traditional batik industry, with unique and exclusive motifs. However, the current production is limited to jarit cloth with a relatively high price, resulting in low sales turnover due to the high selling price. This Community Partnership Program proposes a solution to overcome these challenges by diversifying products and creating contemporary batik motifs using artificial intelligence. Leonardo.ai's online tools will be used to design new motifs while maintaining the aesthetic value and philosophy of Batik Nitik Kembangsore. In addition, to strengthen the marketing and sales system, the website www.kembangsore.com will be developed as an integrated digital platform. With this strategy, it is hoped that Batik Nitik Kembangsore can expand its market reach, increase competitiveness, and reach broader consumers. This innovation supports the sustainability of the traditional batik industry and strengthens Batik Nitik Kembangsore's position in the modern market.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine how religiosity influences the intention to save Muslim students in Islamic banks. The research was conducted with a research population of students in Yogyakarta from several public and private universities. The sampling technique used accidental sampling and obtained 30 respondents. This study uses a data analysis method in the form of simple linear regression. The results of the study stated that there was no effect of student religiosity on interest in investing in Islamic banks. The value of the coefficient of determination (R2) = 0.017. This means that the variable interest in saving moeslim's students in Islamic banks is influenced by religiosity only by 1.7% while the remaining 98.3% is influenced by other variables not examined.

Abstract

To achieve organizational goals effectively, human resources play a critical role. Selecting the best employees is essential to ensure optimal performance. However, conventional employee selection methods often rely on subjective judgments, leading to less accurate outcomes. Therefore, the use of a Decision Support System (DSS) or Sistem Pendukung Keputusan (SPK) is necessary to improve objectivity and efficiency in the selection process. This study adopts a literature review approach by analyzing various national and international journal articles related to the selection of the best employees. The purpose of this research is to identify the criteria commonly used in DSS/SPK for employee selection. Based on the analysis of the literature, it is concluded that the most effective systems incorporate three key aspects: quantitative (such as performance metrics or scores), qualitative (including attitude and behavior), and technical (skills and expertise related to the job). However, it is also found that many systems still face challenges in balancing all three criteria comprehensively. This highlights the need for a more integrated and holistic approach in developing DSS/SPK for employee selection to ensure that decisions are fair, measurable, and aligned with organizational needs.

Abstract

The changing business landscape over the past two decades has been marked by the accelerated adoption of digital technology, increasing environmental awareness, and the demand for sustainable business models. In this context, companies are required to not only compete effectively but also transform towards a Green Industry by leveraging renewable energy and Internet of Things (IoT) technology. Traditional management strategies such as SWOT, TOWS, and QSPM remain relevant, but their effectiveness increases significantly when combined with modern approaches such as Blue Ocean Strategy and supported by the use of real-time data from the IoT. The study showed that IoT implementation can improve operational efficiency, reduce machine downtime, strengthen supply chain management, and optimize renewable energy utilization, resulting in reduced carbon emissions and energy cost savings of up to 20%. Quantitative findings demonstrate a significant contribution of the integration of management strategies, IoT, and renewable energy to company performance with an R² value of 0.67, while qualitative interviews confirmed IoT's role as a catalyst for digital-green transformation. However, challenges such as initial investment costs, data security risks, and limited technical skills remain inhibiting factors. This study concludes that the integration of IoT with renewable energy and management strategies is a strategic foundation for increasing competitiveness while strengthening the legitimacy of corporate sustainability in the green industry era.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the influence of technical competence on employee performance. This study uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach, which refers to the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) guidelines. In the midst of the dynamics of the ever-evolving world of work, technical competence is one of the key factors in supporting increased productivity and work effectiveness. With reference to the PRISMA guidelines, a total of 21 articles published between 2020 and 2025 were systematically reviewed. The articles come from a variety of sectors, including government, private, and education. The results of the study show that technical competence consistently has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Employees with adequate technical skills tend to complete tasks faster, produce quality output, and are able to adapt to technological changes. In addition, some studies show that the influence of technical competence can be amplified by other factors such as motivation, leadership, and work discipline. These findings support the importance of developing technical competencies as an integral part of human resource management strategies. This research provides theoretical contributions in strengthening competency-based management models, as well as practical implications for organizations in designing employee performance training and evaluation.

Abstract

Although the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in businesses has a complicated effect on worker performance, there are drawbacks as well, like technostress and concerns about AI replacing human labor. This study uses a systematic literature analysis of 14 publications that were acquired from the Scopus database in accordance with PRISMA criteria to determine the factors that affect the effect of AI on employee performance. Results indicate that while technostress and technology anxiety have a detrimental impact, factors like skill development, supportive leadership, and successful AI adoption have a favorable influence. This study offers fresh perspectives on managing the effects of AI in a balanced manner. Future research should investigate how psychological aspects interact with AI and examine moderating variables to improve more successful AI implementation tactics in various organizational environments.

Abstract

The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology has brought significant transformation to the global healthcare system, including in Indonesia. This study aims to systematically examine the implementation and impact of AI on the performance of medical personnel in Indonesia through a systematic literature review approach. The research method follows the PRISMA protocol by analyzing scientific publications from 2019 to 2024 obtained from the Google Scholar, PubMed, ScienceDirect, and Indonesian Medical Journal databases. The results indicate that the application of AI has contributed positively to improving diagnostic accuracy (87.5%), healthcare service efficiency (82.3%), and clinical decision-making quality (85.2%). Nevertheless, this study also highlights significant challenges in the implementation of AI, such as limited digital infrastructure (65.4%), inadequate competence among health human resources (58.7%), concerns over data privacy and security, and the lack of comprehensive regulatory frameworks (52.3%), all of which hinder optimal integration. This study provides a scientific foundation for policymakers to develop regulations that support AI adaptation in healthcare while safeguarding ethical standards and patient safety. Additionally, the research offers practical insights for future studies to focus on overcoming technical, educational, and legal barriers, ensuring that AI integration advances equitable and sustainable healthcare services in Indonesia.
