Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat keberhasilan, persepsi petani dan faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan persepsi petani terhadap Program Upsus Pajale. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kecamatan Natar Kabupaten Lampung Selatan. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 51 orang petani responden yang dipilih secara acak. Metode analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif, tabulasi, dan Korelasi Rank Spearman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Program Upsus Pajale belum berhasil. Sebagian besar petani belum menerapkan tahapan-tahapan dari Program Upsus Pajale, petani jarang mengikuti rapat terkait pelaksanaan program, serta produktivitas padi mengalami penurunan dari tahun 2018 sebesar 2,42 ton/ha/musim tanam dan produktivitas jagung mengalami penurunan dari tahun 2018 sebesar 2,30 ton/ha/musim tanam. Persepsi petani tentang Program Upsus Pajale sangat baik, karena penyuluh pertanian lapangan maupun ketua kelompok tani cukup sering memberi informasi tentang Program Upsus Pajale. Petani cukup tahu mengenai tujuan, ruang lingkup, dan sistem pendanaan pada Program Upsus Pajale. Faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan persepsi petani dalam Program Upsus Pajale adalah pengalaman berusahatani, motivasi, dan tingkat pengetahuan. Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kinerja penyuluh, mengetahui tingkat kepuasan petani padi terhadap kinerja penyuluh, menganalisis faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan kinerja penyuluh dan menganalisis hubungan antara tingkat kinerja penyuluh dengan tingkat kepuasan petani padi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kecamatan Metro Selatan Kota Metro. Responden pada penelitian ini terdiri dari 4 orang penyuluh dan 63 petani padi yang dipilih secara acak. Metode analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif, tabulasi dan korelasi Rank Spearman. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Kinerja penyuluh pertanian lapangan di Kecamatan Metro Selatan tergolong cukup baik. Penyuluh cukup rutin melakukan kunjungan ke kelompok tani, membantu petani dalam pemecahan masalah dan memberikan penyuluhan sesuai dengan apa yang diharapkan oleh petani. Tingkat kepuasan petani padi terhadap kinerja penyuluh pertanian lapangan di Kecamatan Metro Selatan tergolong cukup puas. PPL sudah memberikan penyuluhan yang cukup sesuai dengan apa yang diharapkan oleh petani. Faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan kinerja penyuluh pertanian lapangan pada penelitian ini adalah Masa Kerja PPL dan Ketersediaan Sarana dan Prasarana (gedung, laptop, lcd, kendaraan dll). Tingkat kinerja penyuluh pertanian lapangan memiliki hubungan dengan tingkat kepuasan petani padi di Kecamatan Metro Selatan. Semakin tinggi tingkat kinerja PPL maka semakin tinggi pula tingkat kepuasan petani padi terhadap kinerja PPL. Kata kunci: Kepuasaan Petani, Kinerja Penyuluh Pertania Lapangan,

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kepemimpinan ketua kelompok, efektifitas kelompok, dan pengaruh kepemimpinan ketua kelompok terhadap efektivitas kelompok Perkumpulan Petani Pemakai Air (P3A) Ngudi Makmur dalam pengelolaan irigasi usahatani padi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Margodadi, Kecamatan Metro Selatan, Kota Metro menggunakan metode survei. Sampel penelitian adalah 65 anggota kelompok P3A Ngudi Makmur yang dipilih secara acak. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan pemodelan persamaan struktural (SEM) metode partial least square (PLS). Hasil studi menunjukkan kepemimpinan ketua kelompok P3A tergolong kategori sedang dan Efektivitas kelompok P3A Ngudi Makmur tergolong kategori tinggi. Ada pengaruh nyata kepemimpinan ketua kelompok P3A terhadap efektivitas kelompok P3A Ngudi Makmur dalam pengelolaan irigasi.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) menganalisis besarnya biaya hidup (cost of life) mahasiswa untuk konsumsi pangan dan non-pangan, (2) jenis-jenis pangan dan non-pangan yang dikonsumsi mahasiswa, (3) pola konsumsi pangan dan non-pangan. Jumlah sampel penelitian adalah 77orang yang dipilih menggunakan accidental sampling. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa besar rata-rata biaya hidup (cost of life) per bulan adalah Rp 1.038.885,06 dipakai untukkonsumsipangansebesarRp 631.220,78 per bulan, sedangkan konsumsi non pangansebesarRp 407.664,28 per bulan.Pola konsumsi pangan mahasiswa terdiri dari sumber energi, lauk pauk, sayur, buah-buahan dan minuman yang dibeli di warung, warung makan serta outlet terdekat, dengan frekuensi pembelian 0-25 kali/bulan, sedangkan pola konsumsi non pangan terdiri dari transportasi, entertainment, keperluan kuliah, komunikasi, pakaian dan aksesoris/kostmetik yang dibeli di SPBU, bioskop, wisata alam, toko buku, tempat fotocopy, counter HP, dan pasar swalayan, dengan frekuensi beli sebanyak 0-40 kali/bulan. Abstract

Production of some vegetables in  Lampung Province showed to decline in  the past five years, due to agricultural information technology does not distribute evenly, while the cyber extension could be used to search the agricultural information. The aims of study are (1)  Analyze the factors that influence the horticulture farmers communication behavior to fulfill the need of agricultural information, (2) Formulating the strategy of fulfillment need of agriculture information through the use of cyber extension.  Research design was Sequential Explanatory Design (Mixed Methods). The research was conducted in 16 villages in West Lampung District and Tanggamus District, from October 2014 to January 2015. Respondent samples were taken with sampling quota as many as 180 farmers. The data used were primary and secondary data.  Data analyzed by descriptive analyzed  and inferential analyzed by The Structural Equation Model  (SEM). The results of the study concluded that farmers communication behavior is positively influenced by the individual characteristics, the environmental factors, the potential of cyber extension information source and the potential of conventional information source.  The need fulfillment of  agricultural information  is influenced  by the farmers communication behavior.

Abstract

The success of extension activities is influenced by the participation of target farmers. In addition to participation, farmer satisfaction with extension performance will be related to extension of sustainability in the future. This study aims to analyze the participation and satisfaction of farmers on the performance of agricultural extension workers in Palas District, South Lampung Regency. The study was conducted in the extension work area of Palas Tang District which is an agricultural center, especially lowland rice in South Lampung Regency. The study was conducted from May to June 2019. Data collected in this study consisted of primary data and secondary data. Data analysis uses a Likert scale. The results of the study provide a picture that the participation of farmers in agricultural extension activities in the District of Palas is at a fairly high level. Make farmers active in farmer groups and propose extension activities by 56 percent, and farmer involvement in giving advice on the development of farmer groups with a percentage of 78 percent. All farmers join to become members of farmer groups without coercion from extension workers or other parties. In general, farmers' satisfaction with extension performance is quite satisfied. Of the nine indicators, farmers' satisfaction with mass movements in their work areas is the lowest. Farmers are satisfied with the way the agriculture instructor communicates. Farmers are satisfied with the way the instructor communicates and assesses extension activities as having a good impact on agricultural extension activities.

Abstract

This study aims are to find out implementation of the Kawasan Rumah Pangan Lestari Program (KRPL), to know the level of community participation in the Program and the factors related to the participation. This study was conducted in November - December 2018 in the Marga Kaya Village Jati Agung Subdistrict South Lampung District. The method used was a survey method. The total of 46 respondents was used as samples by using proportional random sampling method. Correlation between variables were tested using Spearman Rank Correlation Test. KRPL is a home garden land use program by planting family medicinal plants and vegetables. The implementation of the KRPL program is the first year at the stage of growing members of farmer groups for funding of Rp. 15,000,000 in 2013. Some activities conducted in the program included nurseries, plot demonstrations, cultivating in yards, and assistance by extension agents. The second year, namely the development stage, the KRPL program that has been grown in the first year, will continue at the development stage. The third year is the stage of independence of the KRPL program that has developed the management of the KRPL. In this stage, the source of funds is obtained through self-help members of the group implementing the activities. The average participation rate of farmer group members in the program was 69.28 percent. Factors significantly related to the participation are knowledge about the program, education level, communication intensity, motivation level, and experience.Keywords: participation, kawasan rumah pangan lestari program, farmers

Abstract

The study aims to know the level of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) usage, the level of Extension Workers’ performance, the relation between the use of ICT and the performance of Extension Workers, and factors related to the use of ICT in Agricultural Extension Centers, Fisheries and Forestry (BP3K) Jati Agung, South Lampung District. This study was conducted at BP3K Jati Agung Regency, South Lampung District in 2017  with 17 respondents of Extension Workers. The research method used is a survey method. Methods of analysis used were descriptive analysis and Rank Spearman correlation. The results showed that Extension Workers have a high rate of ICT utilization and a high performance level.  The use of ICT has a significant relationship with the performance of Extension Workers and factors related to the use of ICT are age, education, income, and cosmopolitan characteristics. Key words: extension workers, ICT, performance

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the existing performance of the Rose Florist agro-industry and formulate the business development strategy. This research uses a case study method with three respondents consisting of business owner, an employee of the business, and an UMKM officer. Data collection was carried out in April-May 2020. Data analysis uses cash flow and SWOT. The results showed that the Rose Florist Agroindustry has a good financial performance. There was an increase in cash of 9,538,729.17 from the cash flow statement, from the first period of IDR 153,249,128.57 to the second period of IDR 162,787,857.74. The development strategies that can be used in the development of the Rose Florist Agroindustry are to make quality flower arrangements, to add business signposts in business locations, and to train the workers on good management and better skills. Abstract

The aims of this research are to determine the satisfaction, and loyalty of consumers to Raja Sereh Bananaand Cavendish Banana products in Bandar Lampung City. The research is conducted in June to July 2018.The samples are consumers of Raja Sereh Banana and Cavendish Banana that are recruited byaccidentalsampling. The number of consumer respondents are 80 people, divided by 40 respondent of Raja SerehBanana and 40 respondent of Cavendish Banana. This research is conducted in two different locations,namely traditional market (Pasir Gintung Market) and modern market (Gelael Supermarket). The researchdata is analyzed by descriptive analysis, namely Consumer Satisfaction Index Analysis (CSI) and LoyaltyPyramid. The results of this research showed that Raja Sereh Banana and Cavendish Banana consumerswere “satisfied” and “loyal”. Consumer satisfaction of Raja Sereh Banana was 74.66 percent and theconsumer satisfaction of Cavendish Banana consumer was 71.09 percent. The level of consumer loyalty wasclassified as a buyer who was committed with a value of 85.00 percent for Raja Sereh Banana and 90.00percent for Cavendish Banana.Key words:bananas, consumer, loyalty, satisfaction
