Abstract

This research was carried out with the aim of giving an overview to KBKM students in solving problems related to flat shapes. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research. The research sample was selected using the cluster random sampling method and a sample of 22 students was obtained. The tools used in this study were tests and interviews. Descriptive analysis of research data, students' KBKM in completing questions on flat material, with an average score of 50 which is the same as the value in the quite creative category, 4 students in the criteria of very creative, creative and creative enough, 9 students in the criteria not less creative and 1 student on uncreative criteria. From the results of data analysis it can also be seen that the main problem of the students' KBKM in solving the first flat matter problem lies in the elaboration indicator, which from the results of data analysis and interviews it can be seen that in solving the questions students have difficulty in giving correct and detailed answers. students were not careful in working on the questions and some students were able to understand questions related to elaboration indicators. Furthermore, the second biggest problem lies in the authenticity indicator. In this indicator students have difficulty making answers using their own way, the majority of students are only able to follow the method exemplified by the teacher.

Abstract

Teknologi dalam pembelajaran berkembang sangat pesat khususnya pada bidang assesmen. Dengan berkembangnya teknologi, para pendidik sebaiknya mampu mentransformasi asesmen konvensional ke asesmen digital untuk mendukung proses digitalisasi dalam pendidikan. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah membuat sebuah asesmen mata kuliah matematika dengan menggunakan Ispring Quiz maker kemudian mengintegrasikannya ke dalam Moodle. Perpaduan perangkat lunak pembuat kuis dengan LMS akan menambah wawasan para pembaca khususnya guru dan dosen dalam membuat asesmen matematika online. Untuk mencapai tujuan itu digunakan metode pengembangan dengan model ADDIE. (Analyzed, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Beberapa tahapan yang dilalui menghasilkan sebuah prototype assesmen mata kuliah matematika diskrit. Instrumen assesmen yang dihasilkan sudah melalui proses validasi butir soal dan validasi materi sehingga diperoleh instrumen yang baik dan layak digunakan. Secara spesifik instrumen ini berupa soal final untuk ujian matematika diskrit yang diakses melalui Moodle tapi dibuat menggunakan Ispring. Intrumen seperti ini belum pernah ada dalam penelitian-penelitian terdahulu. Instrumen ini nantinya dapat dimanfaatkan untuk Ujian Akhir Semester maupun Ujian tengah semester untuk mata kuliah Matematika Diskrit.Technology in learning is developing very rapidly, especially in the field of assessment. With the development of technology, educators should be able to transform conventional assessments into digital reviews to support the digitization process in education. The main objective of this research is to create a math course assessment using Ispring Quiz Maker and then integrate it into Moodle. Combining quiz maker software with LMS will add insight to readers, especially teachers and lecturers, in making online math assessments. A development method with the ADDIE model was used (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Several stages were passed to produce a discrete mathematics course assessment prototype. The resulting assessment instrument has undergone item and material validation to obtain a reasonable and feasible tool. Specifically, this instrument is a final question for the discrete mathematics exam, accessed through Moodle but created using Ispring. This kind of instrument has never existed in previous studies. This instrument can later be used for the Final Semester and Midterm examinations for Discrete Mathematics courses..

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam membuat dan mengembangkan instrumen evaluasi online menggunakan Quizizz. Kegiatan diikuti oleh 22 peserta yang terdiri dari 17 orang guru SMP dan 5 orang guru SMA/SMK yang berada di Kecamatan Pakue Utara, Kabupaten Kolaka Utara, Sulawesi Tenggara. Bentuk kegiatan yang dilakukan adalah pelatihan yang dilaksanakan selama 3 hari. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan tiga tahapan, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, dan evaluasi. Peserta diberikan soal pre-test untuk mengukur pengetahuan dan kemampuan awal peserta sebelum kegiatan. Selanjutnya, peserta diberikan materi pelatihan pembuatan instrumen evaluasi online menggunakan Quizizz. Setelah materi selesai diberikan, dilanjutkan dengan evaluasi (posttest) untuk mengukur peningkatan pengetahuan dan kemampuan peserta. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkah bahwa adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan kemampuan peserta terhadap penyusunan instrumen online menggunakan Quizizz tergolong baik (78.18%). Tindak lanjut dari pelatihan ini adalah pendampingan melalui WhatsApp group terhadap guru-guru dalam menghasilkan produk instrumen evaluasi yang siap digunakan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: kemampuan berpikir kritis matematika siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran powtoon lebih baik daripada kemampuan berpikir kritis matematika siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran power point. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas VII SMP IT Wihdatul Ummah Kolaka. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan teknik sampling jenuh, sehingga diperoleh kelas VIIIA sebagai kelas eksperimen I dan kelas VIIIB sebagai kelas eksperimen II. Adapun data kemampuan berpikir kritis matematika siswa dikumpulkan menggunakan instrument tes yang diberikan saat posttest. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis matematika siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran power point yang terdiri dari 13 siswa menunjukkan nilai rata-rata (mean) 72,308. Sedangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematika siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran powtoon yang terdiri dari 16 siswa menunjukkan nilai rata-rata (mean) 76,801. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kritis matematika siswa dalam pengajaran materi aritmetika sosial untuk kelas ekperimen II sedikit lebih tinggi dibanding rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kritismatematika siswa kelas eksperimen I. Selanjutnya hasil pengujian hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji-t telah diperoleh nilai thitung (-0,892) ttabel (1,703), menunjukkan bahwa H0 diterima, secara inferensial ini berarti bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis matematika siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran powtoon tidak lebih baik daripada kemampuan berpikir kritis matematika siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran power point

Abstract

This study aims to analyze student interest in gamification-assisted learning in terms of student learning styles. This research is a type of descriptive research using a qualitative approach. The subjects are students of the Mathematics Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, USN Kolaka, a research course program with 20 students. The data collection technique used in this research is to use a questionnaire. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire of learning styles and interest in learning in gamification-assisted learning. According to Miles and Huberman, the data analysis technique used in this study is a qualitative data analysis technique, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed (1) the average student interest in gamification-assisted learning with word walls was in the high category, (2) student learning styles in research subjects mostly tended to be multimodal (60%), and (3) students with unimodal learning styles have high interest, bimodal, and trimodal learning styles have a very high interest in learning with gamification-assisted learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: whether the critical thinking ability of mathematics students taught using powtoon learning media is better than the critical thinking ability of mathematics students taught using power point learning media. The population in this study were all seventh grade students of SMP IT Wihdatul Ummah Kolaka. Sampling was determined by saturated sampling technique, so that class VIIIA was obtained as experimental class I and class VIIIB as experimental class II. The data on students' mathematical critical thinking skills were collected using a test instrument given during the posttest. The results showed that the critical thinking ability of mathematics of students taught using power point learning media consisting of 13 students showed an average value (mean) of 72.308. While the critical thinking ability of mathematics students taught using powtoon learning media consisting of 16 students showed an average value (mean) of 76.801. This shows that the average critical thinking ability of students in teaching social arithmetic material for Experiment II class is slightly higher than the average critical thinking ability of students in Experiment I class. Furthermore, the results of hypothesis testing using the t-test have obtained the value of t (-0.892) < ttabel (1.703), indicating that H0 is accepted, inferentially this means that the critical thinking ability of mathematics students taught using powtoon learning media is not better than the critical thinking ability of mathematics students taught using power point learning media.
