Abstract

Teluk Pambang Village has an attraction with the. Mangrove. .forest ecosystemmin the form of views of the physical environment of waters, rivers and expanses of mangrove vegetation, flora and fauna which are currently being managed as tourist destinations. The .purpose of the researchs is to reveal.. the management .of communication in the development of the village's creative economy. Through ddescriptive qualitativey .methods, the dataa was collected through observation, and interviews with the. mangrove ecotourism management team. The results show that integrated management through various communication resources in the context of effective communication can have an impact on improving the community's economy independently, through the process of planning, implementing, and controlling various elements of communication accordingg to the goals that have been set. The forms of. ccommunicationn in achievingg goals is adjustedt to the character of the local community, through various socialization, mentoring and counseling activities that have used information and technology media. Although the community is aware that tourism has the potential to independently improve the community's economy, it has not yet been implemented properly, there is still room for improvement in each region based on an integrated development approach.

Abstract

Pertamina's CSR program through the development of nature conservation-based tourism and education is carried out due to the impact of forest and peatland fires. This study aims to determine the CSR communication planning model of PT Pertamina RU II Sungai Pakning in the development of Marsawa Peat Arboretum Ecotourism. This study uses a qualitative research method with a case study approach. The results of this study indicate that PT Pertamina's CSR communication planning in ecotourism development uses the following steps: problem analysis and research; formulation of communication policies and programs; communication action; and evaluation. Through CSR activities with the community, Pertamina CDO has developed a peat arboretum as a tourist attraction area as a basis for reporting and spreading the image of a company that cares about the environment. The public welcomes the Marsawa peat arboretum ecotourism. Apart from being a tourist attraction, its existence can also provide education and exciting experiences about the importance of protecting the peat environment. The development of peat ecotourism must get support from various stakeholders, especially local governments, so that its existence can have a broad impact on economic development and public awareness of the peat environment.

Abstract

COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF MINAPOLITAN TOURISM AREAS IN PETALONGAN VILLAGE, INDRAGIRI HULU REGENCY. Petalongan village is located in the district of Pasir Penyu, Indragiri Hulu Regency-Riau Province. This village is still underdeveloped. Even though petalongan village has a lot of potential to be developed. In this case, the service activity aims to change people’s behavior in organizing, utilizing or managing their nature, traditions and culture to improve the community’s economy through the development of a tourist village minapolitan area. The targets of this service activity are BUMDes managers and PKK mothers. The service model uses Community Based Tourism (CBT), starting from mapping village potential, socialization, FGD, training, and mentoring. Based on the mapping and FGD, the potential of a village that can be developed is to make the village a minapolitan area for aquaculture-based tourism. The training activities focused on catfish and tilapia farming for BUMDes. Product development training is carried out aimed at supporting tourism and is also carried out in order to increase community understanding, attitudes and expertise in utilizing the potential of the village. This community service activity has had a positive impact on increasing community awareness and expertise in utilizing the existing potential by cultivating fish in the lake and having the will to develop the village as a tourist destination.

Abstract

Damage to mangrove forests and abrasion are the main problems on the coast of the Bengkalis Regency. Conservation of mangrove forests by making community-based ecotourism is the best solution to this problem. This paper aims to explain the environmental communication model in the development of mangrove ecotourism. This research used a qualitative method with case studies. The results showed that environmental communication is an essential component in the successful development of mangrove ecotourism. Environmental communication planning had at least four stages, namely problem analysis, audience analysis, and goal setting; selection of communication channel and media; message development and media production; and implementation accompanied by evaluation.The model of environmental communication in the development of mangrove ecotourism in Bengkalis Regency was carried out by empowering community groups based on deliberation and mutual cooperation. Environmental communication must be integrated and managed creatively by using various communication methods and channels.

Abstract

Petalongan Village is one of the villages in Pasir Penyu District, Indragiri Hulu Regency, which is still left behind. This village has rivers, lakes, and cultural traditions for economic or tourism development. People still do not realize the importance of managing this ecosystem. Therefore, the purpose of this service activity is to change people's behavior in managing and utilizing nature, traditions and culture to improve the community's economy. The targets of this activity are the managers of Village-Owned Enterprises and Women Empowerment of Family Welfare. The service methods carried out started from the socio-economic mapping, counseling, FGD, and mentoring. This community service activity has mapped the economic potential of the village on a lake-based basis. Counseling and FGDs regarding problems in Petalongan Village have contributed to increasing public awareness. Extension activities focused on using the lake for the cultivation of catfish and tilapia. Besides that, training on tourism awareness and UMKM needs to be carried out immediately in order to increase understanding, attitudes and the ability of the community in utilizing the wealth of natural resources in this village. This counseling has a positive impact so that people want to immediately cultivate fish and use the lake for tourism to increase the community’s economic income.

Abstract

Koto Sentajo Village is a traditional village that maintains traditions so that it has a tourist attraction. This village has a lot of potential, but still has problems to be an independent village. In this case, this service activity aims to provide the ability to manage agarwood plants to improve the community's economy as the village's superior product. This service activity is targeted at BUMDes managers, farmer groups and PKK women. This service method uses a Community Based Tourism (CBT) approach. The implementation of service activities is carried out by starting with community socio-economic mapping, holding FGDs, and providing training. Service activities found that there was a lot of potential on the one hand, but on the other hand there were still problems with the community's economy. The FGD was held to discuss the problems that exist in Koto Sentajo Village. This FGD activity contributes to increasing community understanding of the importance of developing gaharu plants, because this village has a large forest area and land as a provider of raw materials. The training focused on the manufacture, packaging and marketing of gaharu tea as the village's flagship product. This training has a positive impact on the community, however, it is still constrained by licensing issues to be developed in a larger and wider production scale.

Abstract

AbstractThis paper is part of a study on convergence. Convergence is an online media effort to get a bigger readership, exist and struggle to improve services. This step is a strategy to face digital industry competition, especially in Batam City. Media Batamtoday.com and batamnews.co.id also carry out various convergence methods, such as the convergence of ownership, tactics, structure, coverage to presentation and journalistic convergence, newsgathering and content convergence which is one of the cores of this discussion. However, these two media converged according to the ability to invest, the need so as not to be trapped in mere technical problems. That is, the convergence carried out by the two media remains in the context of needs by looking at the existing competition patterns and opportunities. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The purpose of this research is to find out how the media convergence. The results of this study are expected to be useful for knowledge for the community as well as for readers in general. In addition, as a first step for researchers to develop the knowledge and theory gained so far and is expected to increase interest in knowledge in the discipline of communication science. Abstract

Convergence as a model of newspaper mediamorphosis has been carried out since 1995 or a year after the internet entered Indonesia. Bisnis Indonesia started its convergence by launching Bisnis.com in 2006. This study aims to find out the dynamics faced by Bisnis Indonesia in maintaining the firewall, which is the ethics of journalism in commercialization. This is related to media convergence that tends to strengthen the capitalist character of the media. The research method was carried out with a qualitative approach, where the data collection technique was triangulation. The researchers interviewed ten informants from the management and two from customers using the purposive sampling technique. Internal informants range from the president director, editor-in-chief, and reporters. This study finds that convergence can be a solution for Bisnis Indonesia to get out of circulation problems and find revenue to continue their media business. However, it becomes a challenge to maintain the independence of the newsroom.

Abstract

Bokoba merupakan salah satu bentuk sastra lisan yang disampaikan dengan gaya diceritakan, dinyayikan, dan diiringi alat musik serta menggunakan bahasa Melayu. Bokoba dituturkan, didengarkan, dan dihayati secara bersama-sama pada peristiwa tertentu berkaitan dengan upacara perkawinan, upacara menanam dan menuai padi, kelahiran bayi, dan tujuan magis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan menggunakan studi etnografi komunikasi dimana dalam penyajiannya terdiri dari tiga konsep yaitu situasi komunikasi, peristiwa komunikasi dan tindak komunikasi. Informan penelitian berjumlah 7 (tujuh) orang dengan teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan wawancara, observasi non partisipan, dan dokumentasi. Dari hasil penelitian ditemukan makna : (1) situasi komunikasi yaitu situasi komunikasi yang terjadi pada pertunjukan Bokoba di zaman dahulu berbeda dengan zaman sekarang, hal ini di lihat setting and scene. (2) peristiwa komunikasi pada pertunjukan Bokoba yang memiliki perbedaan dengan pertunjukan di zaman dahulu dilihat dari kompenen-kompenen peristiwa komunikasi yang dikemukakan oleh Hymes yang di sebut SPEAKING. (3) tindak komunikasi, di konsep ini ditemukan bahwa tukang Koba mahir berbasa-basi atau melantunkan Koba sehingga maksud dan tujuan yang disampaikan di mengerti oleh audiens atau penonton. Beberapa nilai-nilai yang dapat disimpulkan dalam penelitian ini adalah seperti nilai Budaya, nilai pendidkan religious, nilai ketangguhan dan nilai kepedulian.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif yang menggunakankan model-model manajemen. Informan dalam penelitian ini ditentukan berdasarkan purposive, yang telah dipilih dengan pertimbangan tertentu. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini meliputi wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa CeriaTV memakai dua model manajemen yaitu model POAC (Planning, Organizing, Actualling dan Controlling) yang merupakan model untuk program CeriaTV itu sendiri sedangkan model PIE (Planning, implementasi dan evaluasi) merupakan model yang digunakan untuk program event yang bekerjasama dengan CeriaTV. Dalam tahap pra-produksi program CeriaTV perencanaan yang meliputi: Penentuan ide, tujuan program, target audien, biaya, izin produksi dan persiapan, semua itu dilakukan pihak CeriaTv sendiri. Sedangkan pra-produksi event perencanaan: penentuan ide, lokasi, Izin Produksi dan Persiapan dilakukan oleh pihak event. Pada tahap produksi program CeriaTV pengawasan produksi: kesiapan audio dan visual, kameramen, mixing, editing live dan live streaming. Pada tahap produksi event meliputi: Penanggung jawab ligthting, audio, listrik, dekorasi panggung, Editing Live dan live streaming. Pada tahap pasca-produksi program CeriaTV yaitu: finishing, evaluasi, uploading, dan share link. Pada tahap pasca-produksi event meliputi: Finishing, Evaluasi Tim Event, Evaluasi Tim, Share File, dan Uploading.
