Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of mathematical communication skills of PGSD IKIP Siliwangi students. The purpose of this study is to improve the mathematical communication skills of PGSD IKIP Siliwangi students through the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach with the help of teaching aids. The specific target to be achieved in this research is the formation of teaching materials that are appropriate, practical, efficient, and effective, and can also develop the productivity of PGSD IKIP Siliwangi students. This research uses a quantitative approach and uses a quasi-experimental method. The population in this study was PGSD IKIP Siliwangi students, while the sample consisted of 70 students who were divided into 35 students in class A1 of 2017 as an experimental group and 35 students in class A2 in 2017 as a control group. The instrument used consisted of written tests regarding mathematical communication skills and the practice of making teaching aids, observations and interviews. The results showed that there was an increase in mathematical communication skills of PGSD students using the RME approach better than those using ordinary learning.

Abstract

Secara umum, tujuan jangka panjang program pengabdian ini adalah mengembangkan suatu proses pengabdian yang inovatif melalui pendampingan bagi guru-guru SD dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan kualitas guru SD di Dayeuh Kolot melalui hasil-hasil penelitian pendahuluan yang telah dilakukan. Secara khusus, target khusus yang ingin dicapai sebagai berikut: (1). Meningkatkan pemahaman dan penyusunan bahan ajar dengan tema “Penerapan Pembelajaran Realistic Mathematics Education Menggunakan Barang Bekas” pada guru SD Bantaran Citarum; (2). Meningkatkan minat pemahaman dan penyusunan bahan ajar dengan tema “Penerapan Pembelajaran Realistic Mathematics Education Menggunakan Barang Bekas” pada guru SD Bantaran Citarum. Metode pelaksanaan dalam pencapaian tujuan tersebut sebagai berikut: (a). perizinan terhadap Dinas setempat terkait pengabdian terhadap guru-guru SD; (b). Memberikan gambaran umum mengenai kegiatan pengabdian yang akan dilakukan; (c). Melakukan refleksi dan diskusi mengenai berbagai kegiatan pengabdian yang akan dilakukan; (d). Melakukan kolaborasi dengan ahli dalam menyusun bahan ajar dengan tema “Penerapan Pembelajaran Realistic Mathematics Education Menggunakan Barang Bekas” pada guru SD Bantaran Citarum, (e). Pelaksanaan kegiatan pendampingan ; (f). Evaluasi kegiatan pendampingan, (f) Penarikan kesimpulan pelaksanaan pendampingan, dan (g) Publikasi luaran pengabdian.Kata Kunci: Pendampingan, Bahan Ajar, Realistic Mathematics Education.

Abstract

AbstrakPada abad ke 21 kegiatan belajar mengajar menjadi tantangan baru pada dunia pendidikan matematika dengan tidak lagi hanya dengan mengingat rumus tetapi dengan menanamkan konsep awal kepada siswa serta meningkatkan daya tarik pelajaran matematika dengan cara mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi. TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge) adalah suatu kerangka berpikir untuk mengintegrasikan teknologi yang sesuai dengan pedagogik untuk menjelaskan suatu konten. TPACK dapat menjadi dasar pengembangan media pembelajaran yang efektif untuk mengajar suatu materi serta dapat membuat siswa lebih aktif dalam mengikuti pelajaran matematika di kelas. Pada penelitian ini, peneliti akan mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis TPACK menggunakan hawgent dynamic mathematics software pada materi segitiga. Model pada penelitian ini menggunakan model ADDIE. Hasil penelitian pengembangan media pembelajaran menggunakan hawgent dynamic mathematics software telah lulus validasi dan dapat diimplementasikan kepada siswa. Hawgent dynamic mathematics software juga mendapatkan respon yang positif dari siswa Sekolah Dasar.Kata Kunci: Hawgent Dynamic Mathematics Software, TPACK, Segitiga

Abstract

This research is motivated by problems found in SD GIKI in class 1, namely the ability of children's mathematical logic in the low and medium categories . The focus of the research is how the level of students 'mathematical logic ability before using media puzzle and how the level of students' mathematical logic ability after using media puzzle. Is there a significant influence on the use of media puzzles on students' mathematical logic abilities? The purpose of this research is to improve the results and improve the process of students' mathematical logic ability. The method used in this study is the pre-experimental method with the type of one-group pretest-posttest design. The subjects in this study were GIKI Elementary School students in Sukajadi Subdistrict, Bandung City class 1, totaling 11 people. Data collection techniques used in this research is to test and observation. The data processing technique used in this study uses SPSS 18.0. The average score of students' mathematical logic ability at pretest was 12 , 27 and increased to 25.73 at the posttest. The results showed that there were significant effects of using media puzzles on the mathematical logic ability of grade 1 students of SD GIKI . This is indicated by the increasing ability of students in compiling numbers in the category of large order to small, small to large, comparing numbers and classifying and solving problems

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelaah pembelajaran pemahaman konsep matematis pada materi bangun ruang di kelas V SD dengan menggunakan model REACT. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN 4 Cibodas dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 30 orang yang terdiri dari 20 orang siswa laki-laki dan 10 orang siswa perempuan. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi guru, soal tentang pemahaman konsep matematis, lembar wawancara, serta angket guru dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran ketika diterapkannya model REACT. Hal tersebut ditunjukan dengan persentase peningkatan dari nilai pre-test ke post-test sebesar 14,82%. Jadi, model REACT dapat memperbaiki kualitas pembelajaran pemahaman konsep matematis siswa kelas V SDN 4 Cibodas.

Abstract

Certification means to improve the quality of teacher competence. Certification allowances still raise questions about low teacher competency and student learning achievement. Based on this, a study was conducted on the effect of certification (x) benefits on teacher competency (y) and their implications for student learning achievement (z). The research aims: 1) Effect of certification benefits on teacher competence. 2) Effect of teacher competence on student learning achievement. 3) Efforts need to be made to improve teacher competency and student learning achievement. Research uses descriptive methods with quantitative approache. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling technique. The sample consisted of 33 teachers. Samples were selected with nonprobability sampling technique. Data collection using questionnaires, interviews, and student test results. Validity test using product moment formula, and reliability testing using the alpha coefficient formula. Data analysis techniques used product moment correlation, path analysis and t test with SPSS version 21. Research results: 1) Teacher certification allowance (x) has a positive effect on teacher competence (y). This is evidenced by the results of the correlation coefficient (r) of 0.586 and the strength of the influence of 0.443. 2) Teacher competency (y) has a positive effect on student learning achievement (z). This is proven by the results of the correlation coefficient (r) is 0.708 and the power of influence is 0.501

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kekeliruan yang dikerjakan siswa serta menganalisa unsur-unsur penyebab kekeliruan siswa dalam memecahkan soal materi penjumlahan ratusan. Cara yang diterapkan pada penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini bertempat di SDN Angsanamekar kelas II Semester Ganjil Tahun Ajaran 2019/2020. Populasi penelitian ini yaitu semua siswa kelas II SD/MI sederajat di Kabupaten Bandung Barat yang sudah mempelajari materi penjumlahan ratusan. Subjek penelitian yaitu semua siswa kelas II B di SDN Angsanamekar. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menerapkan cara percobaan dan wawancara. Langkah-langkah analisa mencakup reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi. Menurut hasil analisa data bisa disimpulkan bahwa dalam memecahkan soal penjumlahan ratusan mengerjakan kekeliruan : (1) kekeliruan penerjemahan, (2) kekeliruan hitung, (3) kekeliruan taktik. Unsur penyebabnya yaitu kecakapan membaca siswa masih rendah, siswa tergesa-gesa dalam menjalankan soal, dan siswa tak fokus dalam menjalankan soal.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the learning of story problems with a scientific approach. Learning with a scientific approach is a learning process that is designed so that students actively construct concepts, laws or principles through stages of observing, formulating, proposing or formulating hypotheses on the mathematics learning outcomes of grade 2 students of SDN 091 Cibeureum. This research is a type of qualitative research, with experiments. The population is all grade 2 students with a total of 32 students. A learning process has an important role in the success of a learning. To create meaningful mathematical learning, student activity is needed in constructing the concepts and structure of the material. Based on learning observations in class 2, the learning carried out was mechanistic. That is, the teacher dominates learning while students only receive the material delivered by the teacher. Learning like this results in students not actively constructing knowledge in the learning process, thus impacting on the low learning outcomes of students themselves. The scientific approach is very suitable for the problems found because it has referred to constructivist learning theory. Therefore, this study was carried out to describe the application of a scientific approach to mathematics learning with a type of classroom action research (CAR). The research subjects were grade 2 students. This research was carried out in 2 cycles. The steps taken by the scientific approach are to observe, ask, collect information, reason, and communicate.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh pentingnya kemampuan pemahaman konsep. Karena sebagai bekal prasyarat untuk mempelajari oprasi hitung pecahan pada tingkatan selanjutnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengamati penerapan model pembelajaran RME terhadap pembelajaran daring pemahaman konsep pecahan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas III di SDN 3 Cipatat yang berjumlah 8 orang siswa laki-laki dan 6 orang siswa perempuan. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi guru dan siswa, lembar angket guru dan siswa, soal materi pecahan serta lembar wawancara guru dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran ketika diterapkannya pendekatan RME. Hal tersebut ditunjukan dengan peningkatan nilai dari lembar pretest dan posttest  yaitu 17,08 %, skor rata-rata  pada observasi guru 91, skor rata-rata pada observasi siswa sebesar 89 dan 91, persentase skor nilai angket guru sebesar 60 %, rata-rata persentase skor angket siswa sebesar 60 %. Serta hasil wawancara guru dan siswa menunjukan hasil yang disimpulkan dengan tanggapan yang baik.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low ability of students' resilience and mathematical literacy which will affect their competence as a teacher. Amid the current conditions of the Covid-19 Pandemic, learning in schools, both in tertiary institutions, is constrained, so one of the right solutions at this time is the implementation of the Blended Learning learning model in learning, especially learning mathematics. Facing the current situation, we are required to be tough and strong, therefore we must have resilience skills so that students are resilient in facing any conditions. With the application of the Blended Learning model in mathematics learning, it is hoped that it can improve students' resilience and mathematical literacy abilities. The research method is a mixed method between qualitative built quantitative with a sequential exploratory strategy. The research instruments used were resilience questionnaire sheets and mathematical literacy test questions. The research procedure begins with qualitative data collection and then builds toward quantitative, the results of which will then be interpreted. The results showed that there was an increase in the ability of mathematical resilience and literacy using Blended Learning with a percentage of 31% and 59% respectively.
