Abstract

AbstrakSosial media hadir sejalan dengan perkembangan teknologi informasi yang memungkinkan orang berbagi informasi satu dengan yang lain tanpa batasan waktu dan jarak. Imbas negatif yang ada dari sosial media ini adalah banyaknya kejahatan dan tindak kriminal (seperti penculikan, pemerkosaan sampai dengan pembunuhan) yang muncul karena keserampangan perilaku penggunanya, yang dalam hal ini adalah siswa sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh sosial media Facebook terhadap tingkat kepercayaan bergaul siswa-siswi sekolah menengah atas di Jakarta. Teori yang digunakan adalah efek komunikasi, sosialisasi dan Looking Glass Self model Charles Horton Cooley. Teori utama yang digunakan adalah pemahaman Boyd, Danah M, Ellison, Nicole tentang sosial media digital. Penelitian menggunakan model survei kuantitatif berjenis pengaruh asosiatif dengan metode survei dan diadakan di sebuah sekolah menengah atas di Jakarta yang berjumlah 125 orang siswa-siswi kelas VIII. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, bahwa tidak ada pengaruh sosial media terhadap tingkat kepercayaan siswa-siswi  sekolah dalam bergaul. Para siswa-siswi  sekolah menggunakan sosial media hanya untuk keperluan mengisi waktu luang saja. Dengan demikian tidak perlu ada ketakutan berlebihan bagi semua pihak ketika siswa-siswi menggunakan sosial media dalam pergaulan sehari-hariKata Kunci: Pendidikan, sosial media, sosialisasi, budi pekerti, Facebook, komunikasi

Abstract

The research examines effect of the confidence level of students in social media to communicate to their buying behavior. The theories used in this research are impersonal interpersonal communication model develop by Miller DeVito continuum of interpersonal and Word of Mouth model’s Ian Safko. This is a quantitative study using associative effects among variables Knowing, Confidence, and Buying behavior. Thus research uses semantic differential scale with a student population of information technology at a private university in Jakarta with a simple sample about 92 people as the random sampling model. From this survey results that there is influence between the level of confidence to communicate in social media purchasing behavior student, but very small. Equation that there is a Y (buying behavior) = 0.136 + 1.16 X1 (Confidence) + 0.049 X2 (Knowing). Keywords: internet, social media, interpersonal communication, word of mouth

Abstract

The world of information technology coming in 4.0 era, that why any company should be used internet networking for communicated the people whom they serve. Open access models will descripe reformation in organizational birocracy in Indonesia especially for goverment reputation. Further research in this area may include netters reaction and attitude for government organization reputation. the Theoretical study in this research was uses and gratification theories and behavioral psychological. The metodological research uses positivistic paradigm and quantitative model. Sampel this research 92 respondens which all student in a campus in Jakarta. Finding research talk about there are low impact for information from Government’s website with attitude hanging netters for government reputation. Netters always look a website just in updating reporting informations. Beside it’s attitude netters for issues acquistion in medium level so website management must be make attractive for performance information.

Abstract

One effort to prevent traffic accidents is to look at the character of road users in the tendency to interpret traffic rules. This study aims to see the influence between experience, decision making and self-justification of the attitude of violation against the flow of traffic in adolescents of high school students in the Capital Special Region of Jakarta. This study used a theoretical study of cognitive dissonance. The conclusion obtained is that the dominant factor in cognitive dissonance is more on the element of behavior change, self experience and the attitude of the decision to commit a violation against the flow of traffic. In contrast to the cognitive dissonance of trust and self-justification, it has a negative effect on the contribution of violating behavior to adolescents in driving. Recommendations that can be used as references by Traffic Police in changing violation behavior against traffic flow in adolescents, by using intimate central parties with them, such as close friends, parents and teachers in their daily interactions. Salah satu upaya pencegahan kecelakaan lalu lintas adalah dengan melihat karakter pengguna jalan dalam kecenderungan memaknai peraturan lalu lintas. Penelitian ini bertujuan melihat pengaruh antara pengalaman, keputusan melakukan, dan pembenaran diri terhadap sikap melanggar melawan arus lalu lintas pada remaja pelajar SMA di Daerah Khusus Ibukota Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan kajian teoritik disonansi kognitif. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh adalah bahwa faktor dominan pada dissonansi kognitif lebih pada unsur perubahan perilaku, pengalaman diri, dan sikap keputusan melakukan pelanggaran melawan arus lalu lintas. Berbeda dengan itu, pada dissonansi kognitif kepercayaan dan pembenaran diri justru berpengaruh terbalik atau negatif dalam kontribusi dengan perilaku pelanggaran pada remaja dalam berkendara. Rekomendasi yang dapat dijadikan referensi oleh Polisi Lalulintas dalam mengubah perilaku pelanggaran melawan arus lalu lintas pada remaja, dengan menggunakan pihak-pihak sentral yang intim dengan mereka, seperti kawan akrab, orang tua, dan guru dalam interaksi mereka sehari-hari.

Abstract

Millennial Road Safety Festival (MRSF) was the one of social campaign Korlantas Polri to give information about safety riding in 2019 in 34 provinces in Indonesia. This research would measure the impact of MRSF on changing drive teenager's behavior in safety riding. Theoretical studies of this research use Cultivation theory from George Gerbner, Uses, and Gratifications theory from Palmgreen dan Rosengreen, and Reaction and Action from Lee for psychology in behavior. Research methodology uses quantitative data analysis for 254 respondents from Polda Metro Jaya 31 respondents, Polda Bali 30 respondents, Polda Jawa Barat 51 respondents, Polda Sulawesi Selatan 41 respondents, Polda Jawa Timur 30 respondents. Finding research talk there were impact MRSF to changing drive teenager's behavior safety reading. The most substantial factor MRSF program for planning media management is the weakness factor for communicator int's mean anchors of MRSF program television. ABSTRAK Millennial Road Safety Festival (MRSF) merupakan salah satu bentuk kampanye sosial Korlantas Polri untuk memberikan informasi seputar safety riding di tahun 2019 pada 34 provinsi di Indonesia. Penelitian ini akan mengukur dampak MRSF terhadap perubahan perilaku berkendara remaja dalam safety riding. Kajian teori dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teori Cultivation dari George Gerbner, teori Uses, and Gratifications dari Palmgreen dan Rosengreen, dan Reaction and Action dari Lee untuk psikologi dalam perilaku. Metodologi penelitian menggunakan analisis data kuantitatif sebanyak 254 responden dari Polda Metro Jaya 31 responden, Polda Bali 30 responden, Polda Jawa Barat 51 responden, Polda Sulawesi Selatan 41 responden, Polda Jawa Timur 30 responden. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan dampak MRSF terhadap perubahan perilaku membaca keselamatan remaja drive. Faktor yang paling substansial dari program MRSF untuk perencanaan pengelolaan media adalah faktor kelemahan dari sarana jangkar rata-rata komunikator int di televisi program MRSF.

Abstract

Credit cards are one of the most familiar payment tools for information society. They used integrated marketing communications method to get new costumers. They prepared this method to market expansion. Intergrated marketing communication depend on understanding of company about marketing of communication. This research aims to explore implementation of used integrated marketing communications. This research used theory of marketing communication, theory of integrated marketing communications, promotion and marketing plan. This reaearch method is qualitative descriptive. They collected data from staff and management of bank who produce credit card used interview method (Mandiri, HSBC, BCA, Citibank dan BNI). The result is Local Banks which produce credit card did same promotion method with the International bank method. The big issue about credit card is They must used international big brand from Citibank to arrange their system. The Marketing communication is success because of pattern of organization, cross sectoral integration in corporate. Because of that situation, its important to marketing communication at banking.

Abstract

The diffusion of innovation tells us how, why, and what the new ideas and technology development are in an organization or a group of people. The world is already in 4.0 era characterized by the use of social media, line, email, websites and all network devices in human life. The presence of smart phones makes it easier to access the internet, as well as the work of police officers at work. This research aims at finding out the dominant aspects affecting the application of the diffusion of 4.0 era innovation by police officers in the workplace. Theories employed in the research are theory of organizational communication, theory of the diffusion of era innovation by Everett Rogers, theory of internet networks and theory of culture in organizations. The research method is the positivistic paradigm by processing the quantitative data. The distribution of questionnaires is done by conducting surveys in several Police Regions in Indonesia, such as Jakarta Metropolitan Police Region (Polda Metro Jaya), West Java Police Region (Polda Jawa Barat), Banten Police Region (Polda Banten), Central Java Police Region (Polda Jawa Tengah), South Sulawesi Police Region (Polda Sulawesi Selatan), Southeast Sulawesi Police Region (Polda Sultra), Central Kalimantan Police Region (Polda Kalteng), and South Kalimantan Police Region (Polda Kalsel). There are 30 respondents of each police region; the total number of respondents is 240. The research was conducted for 4 months from September to December 2018. Hypothesis are tested by using correlational between cultural, technological/infrastructure and occupational variables and the application of information technology. The results of the research reveal that the strongest element related to the change in the diffusion of innovation in the work of police officers of the police regions is infrastructure (technology). On the other side, the weakest element is the work culture of the organization. The survey results state that police officers in Indonesia already have an enthusiasm as innovators. But it can become early adopters if the leadership does not provide creative space to develop the potential of the police officers.

Abstract

The journalistic ethics code seeks to provide freedom and protection to journalists. This study aims to determine the relationship between journalists' understanding of journalistic ethics code with its application from the dimensions of professionalism, dedication, and expertise. The independent variable is the understanding of the journalistic code of ethics and the dependent variables are the professionalism, dedication, and expertise of journalists. The survey research was conducted on 100 journalists working in Islamic mass media in Jakarta. Data analysis used a correlation test. The results show that journalists' understanding of the journalistic code of ethics is high and dedication is the most important dimension in journalist performance in the field. However, the correlation test results indicate a weak relationship between the understanding of the journalistic code of ethics and the professionalism, dedication, and expertise of journalists. This study concludes that journalists have considered the importance of the journalistic ethics in support of their work, but it is lack of implementation.

Abstract

Islam Jamaah in the context of their practices in society, is often perceived as a group, primarily because most members of society are unaware of their workings. The problem of this research is to prove that Jamaah Tabligh is an organization, not a group. The study aims to find out the internal organization communication the members of Jamaah Tabligh (a religious meeting/congregation) and the patterns of dakwah (missionary endeavor) they apply. The study employs the Goldhaber model of organizational communication with a downward model in relation to leadership, the relationship between superiors and subordinates and the selection of leaders. The study uses the qualitative method. Data is obtained through interviews with seven active members of Jamaah Tabligh. The results of the study reveal that the internal organizational communication of Jamaah Tabligh is a large organization because it has international, national and local headquarters. The organizational communication model is very open and democratic. The leaders try to serve the members of the congregation instead of governing them. The openness of this organizational communication model can be seen in deliberations and has caused Jamaah Tabligh to be favored by lower and middle class people

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of using the Binmas Online System version 2.0 (BOS V2) application on the work effectiveness of the South Tangerang Police Department's Bhabinkamtibmas. There are two theories used in this research, namely (1) David's Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) theory and (2) Siswanto's Work Effectiveness theory. This research uses a quantitative approach with survey methods. The population in this study was 95 people using total sampling. The data collection technique used was a questionnaire. The data analysis technique in this research uses instrument testing, assumption testing, hypothesis testing, and continued with regression testing. The results of the research show that the use of the BOS V2 application has a positive effect on the work effectiveness of the South Tangerang Police Department's Bhabinkamtibmas with tcount (13.334), (6.240) > ttable (1.998). Next, Fcount (38.955) > Ftable (2.45) and the regression equation ? = 3.048 + 0.353X. The conclusion of this research is that the use of the BOS V2 application has a significant effect on the work effectiveness of the South Tangerang Police Department's Bhabinkamtibmas. Thus, the BOS V2 application has an impact on the work effectiveness of Bhabinkamtibmas. The use of the BOS V2 application by the South Tangerang Police Bhabinkamtibas has been running optimally so that it has an impact on the effectiveness of Bhabinkamtibmas' work itself so that it can support every report and task given so that it runs optimally.
