Abstract

Indonesia is rich in forest products. The production forest is a forest area that can be utilized for the community, such as logs, rattan, and some forest plants that have high economic value. This research aims to make the best architectural model by using artificial neural network. The method used is backpropagation algorithm. With this model it will continue to predict the output of logs. Data are sourced from BPS-Statistics Indonesia. Based on the results of research results of logs production using backpropogation method, obtained the result of 3 model architecture (18-18-1, 18-25-1 and 18-18-25- 1) that model of architecture 18- 25-1 is the best model with 72% accuracy, MSE: 0.0221670942 and epochs: 660.

Abstract

This study aims to maximize the activation function used in backpropogation networks in finding the best architectural model. The case study used is the sale of state retail sukuk based on professional groups. The combination of activation functions used for training and testing is tansig-tansig, tansig-purelin and tansig logsig. The architectural model used is the architectural model 6-2-1 and 6-5-1. The evaluation parameters used are epoch, MSE training, MSE testing and accuracy level of truth. Data processing is assisted by using Matlab software. The results showed that the tansig-logsig activation function had more stable results than tansig-tansig and tansig-purelin.

Abstract

Teens are often stressed, worried, and overly insecure as a result of their high expectations. The feelings that occur during adolescent development can create and increase feelings of insecurity in their lives, which has a negative impact. Adolescents with an excessive sense of insecurity can suffer from mental disruption, which can lead to serious mortality. Of course, these factors can have a negative impact on adolescents' mental health. Adolescents' minds and psyches can be disrupted by mental illness. The goal of this study is to identify the dominant factor among a number of factors that can lead to insecurity when using the Decision Support System (DSS) technique. Analytical Hierarchy Process is the DSS method used (AHP). The data used in this study was gathered through observations and interviews with adolescents using a random questionnaire. Six factors were derived from observations and interviews: social environmental factors (A1), family environmental factors (A2), social media factors (A3), insecure factors (A4), trauma factors (A5), and education and work factors (A6). The results of the AHP method show that the main factors for adolescents who are easily insecure are social environmental factors (first), social media factors (second), and family environmental factors (third) (third).

Abstract

Data mining adalah suatu istilah yang digunakan untuk menguraikan penemuan pengetahuan didalam database. Proses data minig ini akan diimplementasikan dengan menggunakan algoritma C.45. Algoritma C.45 dapat digunakan dalam pembentukan pohon keputusan tetapi lebih mengarah pada perhitungan probabilitas dari tiap-tiap record terhadap kategori-kategori tersebut atau untuk mengklarifikasi record dengan mengelompokan ke dalam satu kelas. Setelah sebuah pohon keputusan dibangun maka dapat digunakan untuk mengklarifikasi record yang beulm ada kelasnya. Dimulai dari node root menggunakan tes terhadap atribut dari record yang belum ada kelasnya, kemudian mengikuti cabang sesuai dengan proses pohon keputusan yanitu mengubah bentuk data (table) menjadi pohon (tree) kemudian merubah model pohon tersebut menjadi aturan. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan yang telah dibangun dapat menentukan pasien yang menderita penyakit tipes.

Abstract

Arabica coffee beans are one of the main varieties of coffee beans developed in Indonesia. In making decisions to determine quality Arabica coffee beans, an appropriate system is needed to analyze problems in solving and efficient and accurate data presentation. Therefore, a computer-based system or method is needed to facilitate the selection of the best Arabica coffee beans. This study uses the Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique (SMART) method. The SMART method is a decision-making method to solve the problem of choosing a multi-objective choice among several criteria, so that later it will be able to produce an effective and efficient analysis. The input criteria that are the priority in selecting the best Arabica coffee beans are aroma with a weight of 25, color with a weight of 25, taste with a weight of 25, dirt content with a weight of 15, and price with a weight of 10. Of the 25 alternatives tested in this system, Gayo Avatara Natural Arabica coffee beans were the best first alternative, followed by Aceh Gayo Wet Hull, Java Ijen Natural, Java Ijen Honey, and Kintamani Natural. This decision support system for selecting the best Arabica coffee beans provides speed, accuracy, and data accuracy in selecting the best Arabica coffee beans which will be used by coffee lovers to provide coffee with a delicious taste. So the results of the decision from 25 types of Arabica coffee, there are 11 types of Arabica coffee with a rating of "Very Good", 10 types of Arabica coffee with a rating of "Good", and 4 types of Arabica coffee with a rating of "Quite Good".

Abstract

Low Cost Green Car (LCGC) is a new breakthrough made by the government in the automotive world, especially in Indonesia. With the support of environmentally friendly concepts this type of LCGC car has become an alternative for consumers who want a car especially in Indonesia. To estimate LCGC cars according to needs, you can use a decision support system with a simple additive weighting (SAW) method. Data obtained from observations and interviews conducted through sales and car mechanics or experts who are more knowledgeable about market conditions and community needs. The results achieved are designing a decision support system application that predicts LCGC cars that fit consumers' desires based on price, engine capacity, safety features, fuel economy, cabin accommodation. By determining the preference value of each alternative, ranking is made so that from the alternatives there is the best alternative.

Abstract

Tomuan Holbung Village is a village in North Sumatra. As a village, there is still information that has not been accessed by many other people through public communication, namely the internet. Where there is a Posyandu currently has a meaningful role to support public health services. The role of the Posyandu is accompanied by the increasingly visible role of the community after the emergence of the Posyandu as a form of community-based health effort. Apart from that, Posyandu activities have been running smoothly so far because of the Posyandu Information System (SIP) book as an implementation guide. Technology contributes to structuring management systems and work processes in government and private agencies. One of the applications of Information Technology in village life is the use of a web-based Mother and Child Posyandu Information System. In this design, the web-based Posyandu information system is analysis, design, coding and testing as well as entity relationship diagrams in designing the database. The Posyandu information system is equipped with a web-based display so that users can adjust the contents in the system as a means of information in designing a web-based Mother and Child Posyandu Information System in Tomuan Holbung Village.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyrakat ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pentingnya sosialisasi penggunaan aplikasi hadir berbasis mobile dalam meningkatkan efisiensi sistem kehadiran dosen mengajar di Universitas Graha Nusantara Padangsidimpuan. Efisiensi sistem kehadiran dosen merupakan hal yang penting dalam menjaga kualitas dan keberlanjutan proses pembelajaran di perguruan tinggi. Partisipan dalam pengabdian ini adalah dosen-dosen di Universitas Graha Nusantara Padangsidimpuan yang telah menggunakan aplikasi hadir berbasis mobile. Hasil pengabdian masyarakat ini menunjukkan bahwa sosialisasi penggunaan aplikasi hadir berbasis mobile memiliki dampak yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan efisiensi sistem kehadiran dosen mengajar. Dosen-dosen yang mengikuti sosialisasi tersebut memiliki pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang cara menggunakan aplikasi tersebut. Penggunaan aplikasi hadir berbasis mobile juga memberikan manfaat lain seperti kemudahan dalam pencatatan kehadiran, pengurangan kesalahan administrasi, dan aksesibilitas yang lebih baik bagi dosen. Tahapan metode pelaksanaan ini dimulai dengan studi pendahuluan untuk mengidentifikasi permasalahan dan menganalisis manfaat dari aplikasi serupa dalam konteks pendidikan. Selanjutnya, merencanakan agenda sosialisasi dengan menetapkan tujuan, audiens target, serta menyusun materi presentasi dan panduan penggunaan aplikasi. Tahap pelaksanaan melibatkan presentasi aplikasi, sesi tanya jawab, dan pelatihan praktis kepada dosen dan staf administrasDalam kesimpulannya, sosialisasi penggunaan aplikasi hadir berbasis mobile sangat penting dalam meningkatkan efisiensi sistem kehadiran dosen mengajar di Universitas Graha Nusantara Padangsidimpuan. Dengan adanya pemahaman yang baik tentang penggunaan aplikasi ini, dosen-dosen dapat mengoptimalkan kehadiran mereka dan mengurangi masalah administrasi yang berkaitan dengan kehadiran. Implementasi aplikasi ini juga dapat memberikan manfaat jangka panjang bagi manajemen universitas dalam meningkatkan pengelolaan kehadiran dosen.

Abstract

Smart Home or smart home is a system built with the help of a computer to integrate and control home devices automatically and efficiently. The development of "Smart Home" technology is the impact of the development of technological advances that aim to help people manage their daily activities in controlling electronic equipment and monitoring the condition of the house. This home automation system was developed with the aim of supporting electricity and water saving programs. Smart home technology developed, both in home automation systems and security will be controlled centrally by the microcontroller. This study aims to build an electronic device control system at several location points automatically by sending SMS from the cellphone to the control module. This device system will also connect the control module via the internet network so that the Internet of Things (IOT) function is built. Arduino-based Smart Home facilitates home security systems by installing Infrared sensors to detect moving objects, MQ-2 Sensors to detect gas leaks, DHT11 Sensors to detect temperature and humidity, Ultrasonic Sensors to measure the water level in water reservoirs.

Abstract

The global spread of COVID-19 has an impact on all aspects of life, including the education aspect. Under these circumstances, an effective learning strategy is needed to achieve the learning objectives. Learning is the main thing in an educational institution, so a good learning process will produce good graduates as well. This situation certainly needs to be improved by improving learning facilities to improve the online learning process. The lack of knowledge of using e-learning makes it difficult for tutors and students to carry out online learning. Therefore, through this community service program, it is hoped that it can support and improve the learning process, especially the use of e-learning learning media. The purpose of this service activity is carried out in the form of training starting from the introduction of the Edmodo application for the learning management system, then how to use the application with various features to make it easier for tutors and students in delivering material. The method of implementing this service is carried out through several stages, namely, socialization, training, practice and monitoring. The target of this activity is EMC tutors and students in Padangsidimpuan City. The results of the evaluation of the implementation of this training show that this activity is useful to support the teaching and learning process carried out at the EMC tutoring place. This training is able to improve the skills of tutors and students in using Edmodo e-learning media, and the conclusion in this activity is the knowledge of using Edmodo e-learning media for tutors and students, so it is hoped that in the future the EMC tutors can use e-learning media as supporting learning activities
