Abstract

Saat ini, relatif banyak ditemukan kenakalan remaja seperti tawuran antar pelajar, genk motor dan praktek-praktek prostitusi hingga tindakan kekerasan lainnya yang terjadi di lingkungan sekolah maupun di masyarakat yang melibatkan pelajar. Salah satu penyebab dari masalah sosial tersebut adalah merosotnya nilai-nilai moral dan spiritual dalam diri peserta didik. Artikel menggunakan metode literature review untuk memecahkan masalah melalui pengumpulan dan analisis teori dan hasil penelitian terkait permasalahan. Gerakan moral maghrib mengaji merupakan salah satu upaya untuk membina akhlak mulia generasi muda sejak dini dengan penanaman nilai-nilai agama sehingga ia mampu menjadi seorang umat beragama yang taat dan warga negara yang toleran karena agama memberikan petunjuk hidup bagi umatnya dan penuh dengan nilai-nilai universal termasuk dalam hubungan bermasyarakat dan bernegara. Lebih jauh, gerakan moral ini bertujuan untuk membangun dan meningkatkan sisi religiusitas sekaligus rasa kebangsaan peserta didik. Sisi religiusitas terwujud dalam kegiatan pengajian yang dilakukan setiap hari sehabis maghrib sedangkan rasa kebangsaan akan terpupuk dengan sendirinya ketika seseorang telah mampu menjalankan syariat agamanya dengan benar. Gerakan moral ini dapat menjadi salah satu upaya dalam menangkal perilaku menyimpang dengan sasaran menyentuh sisi spiritual peserta didik.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Civics learning on the national insight of Riau University students. This research was conducted at the University of Riau with a total of 100 respondents. This research is motivated by the existence of several problems with nationalism at the University of Riau such as there are still students who are not familiar with Pancasila as the state ideology, there are still students who participate in inter-faculty disputes and a weakening sense of defending the country. The study used a quantitative approach, this approach was chosen to determine the effect of Civics learning on the national insights of Riau University students. In this study, the results were obtained using the Simple Linear Regression Test, F Test and R Test. very good. in the Learning variable 96.17% where the range is at 75.01% - 100%. It can be concluded that Civics learning is at a very good level. While the National Insight of Riau University students is at a very good level of 97.05% where the range is at 75.01% - 100%. It can be concluded that students' national insight is at a very good level.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out and analyze whether there is an effect of the flipped classroom-assisted discovery learning model on PPKn learning outcomes at SMAN 1 Perhantian Raja. This research method is quantitative, data analysis was carried out on research samples through a statistical approach to determine the effect of the flipped classroom-assisted discovery learning model on Civics learning outcomes of SMAN 1 Perhentian Raja students. The data collection instrument used in, learning outcomes in the form of pretest and posttest. The population in this study were students of SMAN 1 Perhentian Raja class XI IPA 1. The purposive sampling technique was used to determine the sample with the consideration that learning outcomes were cognitive. Learning outcomes experienced an increase in average and classical. The average score obtained at the pretest was 61.88 and the posttest was 81.23 while the classical completeness at the posttest was 17.64 and the pretest was 88.23. And the results of the calculation of the hypothesis test using the t-test formula for paired/related samples obtained the value seen by the Sig value. (2-tailed) = 0.000 with a level of 5% or 0.05. So 0.05 > 0.00 for a significant level of 5%. Based on the criteria for testing the hypothesis using paired sample t-tests, that is, if Ha is accepted or Ho is rejected, it can be said that there is a significant difference. This shows that Civics learning using the flipped classroom-assisted discovery learning method has on student learning outcomes in Civics class XI IPA 1 students at SMAN 1 Perhentian Raja.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of youth in preserving the plug-in lamp tradition in Pangkalan Batang village, Bengkalis sub-district. This research method is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. In this study, researchers conducted research in Pangkalan Batang Village, Bengkalis District. Data collection techniques in this study are observation, interviews, and documentation. The informants in this study consisted of 7 (seven) people, namely the Chairperson of the Bengkalis Regency LAMR Customary Density Council, the Bengkalis Regency Sports and Culture Tourism Office, traditional leaders and the head of the hamlet of Pangkalan Batang village, the chairman of the Karang Taruna and the head of the Pangkalan Batang village plug. The data analysis technique follows the flow model proposed by Miles and Huberman, namely data reduction, data presentation, conclusion and verification. The results in this study explain that in the lamp plug tradition there is a role for youth in the form of protection, development, utilization, and inheritance.

Abstract

Election Smart House (ESH) is an election organizer innovation designed to improve pre-voter political literacy among students. However, the operation and management of the ESH as a community voter education center is not operating well at present. As a voter education center, ESH provides various attractive services, facilities, and programs. The research design employed a qualitative descriptive method. The researcher intended to describe in-depth and thoroughly the ESH service as a voter education center in Dumai City that strives to promote students' political literacy. Observation, interviews, and documentation were employed in the data collection process. The research informants included Dumai City Election Commission commissioners, Dumai City election smart house (ESH) managers, and Dumai City high school civic education teachers. The study results indicate that ESH services consist of (1) the publication of ESH activities in the mass media and (2) an invitation from the General Election Commission of the City of Dumai for the public, community, or school to visit ESH. ESH can serve as a forum where the election community can discuss elections and democracy. Voter education for students through ESH is a strategic step in educating students about election and democratic materials since ESH offers students materials and additional services that attract visitors.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of the Kampar Election Smart House (ESH) in increasing the political literacy of high school level students. This study used qualitative research methods . As for the data and data sources used in this study using primary data and secondary data. Primary data from this study came from the results of in-depth interviews with staffs at ESH Kampar and observations of the activities. This research was carried out because of the low level of political literacy of students. There are still many students who are apathetic, this is due to the low level of political literacy. The results of this research is Kampar's ESH played a role in increasing the political literacy of students at the high school level. Kampar’S ESH provides education about democratic, electoral values, and other political values ​​such as providing education about the state and power, Activities of political institutions of authority and their role trains expressing opinions, government regulations and public services, and involves students in activities politics. The limitations of this research is Kampar’s ESH is doing political literacy in one state high school. Though there are 51 high school in this regency.

Abstract

Abstrak: Artikel ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan peranan program kampus mengajar Angkatan 4 (KM 4) dalam meningkatkan literasi numerasi peserta didik berkebutuhan khusus (PDBK) di SDN 001 Air Tiris. KM 4 merupakan program yang diinisiasi oleh kementerian Pendidikan kebudayaan dan Pendidikan tinggi sebagai sebuah upaya pengabdian civitas akademika di persekolahan. Pengabdian tim KM4 di SDN 001 Air Tiris dilaksanakan pada bulan Agustus- Desember 2022. Tim KM4 terdiri dari 5 orang mahasiswa yang berasal dari berbagai perguruan tinggi di kota Pekanbaru dan seorang dosen pendamping lapangan (DPL) yang berasal dari Universitas Riau. Kegiatan pengabdian dimulai dari analisis kebutuhan sekolah, penyusunan program, hingga kegiatan pendampingan belajar PDBK. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa (1) program KM 4 terdiri dari literasi, numerasi, adaptasi teknologi dan administrasi; dan (2) program kampus mengajar berperan dalam membantu PDBK dalam belajar membaca, berhitung, dan bernyanyi, melalui pendampingan khusus. Hal ini dibuktikan dari pernyataan kepala sekolah saat kegiatan penutupan KM 4 maupun dari skor kepuasan yang diberikan pihak sekolah melalui guru pamong terhadap tim KM4 di akun MBKM sehingga peserta KM dapat mencapai nilai 92 (baik sekali).Abstract: This article aims to describe the role of the campus teaching program Batch 4 (KM 4) in improving the numeracy literacy of students with special needs (PDBK) at SDN 001 Air Tiris. KM 4 is a program initiated by the Ministry of Culture and Higher Education as an effort to serve the academic community in schools. The KM4 team's service at SDN 001 Air Tiris was carried out in August-December 2022. The KM4 team consisted of 5 students from various tertiary institutions in the city of Pekanbaru and a field assistant lecturer (DPL) from the University of Riau. Community service activities start from analyzing school needs, preparing programs, to PDBK learning assistance activities. The results of the dedication show that (1) the KM 4 program consists of literacy, numeracy, technology adaptation and administration; dan (2) the teaching campus program plays a role in assisting PDBK in learning to read, count, and sing, through special assistance. This is evidenced from the statement of the school principal during the closing activity of KM 4 and from the satisfaction score given by the school through the tutor to the KM4 team in the MBKM account so that KM participants can achieve a score of 92 (very good).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and describe local wisdom in the form of the traditional game Pacu Tabang Duck along with Pancasila values that can be explored in it, amidst the onslaught of dynamics of global issues. Pacu tabang ducks is a typical tradition of Luak fifty which consists of the district of fifty cities and the city of Payakumbuh. This study used a qualitative design with a descriptive method. Research data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews and documentation studies. The research findings show that (1) the tradition of spurring tabang itiak is a hereditary tradition in the luak fifty community; (2) the existence of the pacu tabang itiak tradition can be maintained because of the Pancasila values contained therein. The implementation of the duck racing tradition is not only a tradition of the local community but through local government policy, this tradition has become a tourist calendar event for the fifty cities and towns of Payakumbuh so that it attracts tourists to attend and witness it every year. The implementation of the Pacu Tabang Duck tradition brings economic blessings to the local community because of the large number of tourists who attend.

Abstract

Budaya sekolah merupakan sarana yang dapat dimaksimalkan dalam implementasi karakter. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi karakter integritas pada peserta didik berbasis budaya sekolah dan faktor pendukung dan penghambat impementasi karakter integritas berbasis budaya sekolah di SD Muhammadiyah Boarding School Prambanan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan subjek penelitian antara lain kepala sekolah, guru kelas, dan peserta didik SD Muhammadiyah Boarding School Prambanan pemilihan subjek menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan aktivitas pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi karakter integritas berbasis budaya melalui 3 tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Tahap perencanaan dimana kepala sekolah dan seluruh pihak terkait membuat perencanaan yang tercantum di dalam kurikulum sekolah, tahap pelaksanaan dilakukan melalui 3 lapisan budaya sekolah yaitu lapisan artefak fisik dan non fisik, lapisan nilai dan keyakinan, dan lapisan asumsi, dan tahap evaluasi melihat dan menilai sikap dan kemampuan peserta didik dalam melaksanakan berbagai kegiatan yang menunjang karakter integritas. Faktor pendukungnya yaitu sumber daya manusia, lingkungan sekolah, sarana dan prasarana, dan orangtua. Faktor penghambat komunikasi, latar belakang peserta didik yang berbeda, dan pergaulan peserta didik.

Abstract

Abstrak: Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh memudarnya nilai-nilai Pancasila di kalangan generasi muda utamanya generasi Z yang masih duduk di bangku sekolah menengah, ditandai dengan maraknya Tindakan bullying dan kenakalan remaja seperti tawuran antar pelajar. Kegiatan pengabdian bertujuan membangun kecerdasan berideologi Peserta didik (generasi muda) sebagai bentuk pencegahan dari kenakalan remaja, yang dilaksanakan dalam bentuk sosialiasi dan internalisasi nilai Pancasila melalui permainan kartu pintar pengamalam Pancasila. Pengabdian dilaksanakan terhadap 30 orang peserta didik kelas XII di SMK Negeri 4 Kota Dumai pada pertengahan Juli 2023. Di akhir kegiatan pengabdian, dilakukan semacam evaluasi melalui pemberian 10 pertanyaan melalui google form yang ditujukan untuk melihat feedback dari peserta. Hasilnya pemahaman mereka meningkat mengenai ideologi dan pengamalan nilai Pancasila yang dilihat dari 90% jawaban benar atas pertanyaan-pertanyaan diberikan seputar materi.Abstract: This service activity is motivated by the waning of Pancasila values among the younger generation, especially the Z generation who are still in high school, marked by the rise of bullying and juvenile delinquency such as brawls between students. Service activities aim to build ideological intelligence of students (the younger generation) as a form of prevention from juvenile delinquency, which is carried out in the form of socialization and internalization of Pancasila values through the Pancasila experience smart card game. The service was carried out for 30 class XII students at SMK Negeri 4 Dumai City in mid-July 2023. At the end of the service activity, a kind of evaluation was carried out via a Google form aimed at seeing feedback from participants. As a result, their understanding increased regarding ideology and the practice of Pancasila values, which was seen from the 90% correct answers to the questions given about the material.
