Abstract

This paper aims at  describing the role and identify the obstacles encountered by field supervisors in Kampus Mengajar  program from Batch 3, 4, 5, and 6. The research was conducted in Riau Province with the main informants, namely several DPLs assigned to several elementary schools in Riau province in addition to the students participating in Kampus Mengajar , the research was conducted in the time span of February 2022-December 2023.The research data were collected through interviews and documentation studies. The data analysis technique uses the miles and Huberman model which consists of data collection, verification and data reduction, conclusion drawing. The triangulation technique uses data source triangulation. The results of the study found that there are several roles of DPL, namely (1) communicator, in this role DPLs are required to always coordinate with the Education office and target schools to explain the usefulness and smooth running of Kampus Mengajar  program; (2) facilitator, meaning facilitating students to discuss with each other about the design, implementation and evaluation of Kampus Mengajar  program and; (3) mentor, meaning guiding students to follow the program according to the direction of the ministry but still be able to innovate and develop creativity for the success of the program. The obstacles encountered by DPLs are (1) the remote location of the target schools; (2) Kampus mengajar students who do not obey the rules, making it difficult for DPL positions; (3) the honorarium for Kampus Mengajar program which is compensated and sometimes late in disbursement.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem of rampant cases of bullying that occur in schools. Therefore, this study aims to describe the experiences of students related to bullying behavior at school and future efforts to prevent and overcome bullying behavior. This research uses a qualitative design with descriptive methods. The study was conducted in SMA / SMK Dumai City by involving school students and teachers in June-August 2023. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. Data analysis techniques use the Miles and Huberman model, consisting of data collection, verification and reduction, and conclusion drawing. The triangulation technique uses data source triangulation. The results showed that (1) the bullying experience experienced by students generally occurred verbally. Their attitudes in responding to bullying are also different; some are ignorant and ignore the bullying received, sad and keep it to themselves, but some report to parents and BK (counseling guidance) teachers at school; (2) Efforts to prevent bullying behavior at school are carried out in the form of appeals, socialization, infiltration in subjects through planting about manners and ethics in getting along; (3) As for handling efforts if bullying occurs at school, it will be processed first by the subject teacher or vice-grade. Furthermore, coaching is carried out by the school's counseling teacher or deputy student affairs. The understanding of bullying behavior is quite good in students, which is marked by their ability to identify bullying behavior based on experience and realize that bullying behavior is an act of violation of human rights (HAM). Still, the school needs to maximize the action of preventing and handling bullying behavior. Therefore, synergy is needed between students and schools to minimize bullying behavior in schools.

Abstract

Abstrak: Kegiatan PKM ini penting dilakukan karena mitra membutuhkan penguatan pada sisi literasi. Saat pelaksanaan observasi ditemukan beberapa masalah seputar literasi seperti adanya peserta didik kelas tinggi yang belum lancar membaca serta minimnya kunjungan peserta didik ke perpustakaan. Mitra dari pengabdian ini adalah kepala sekolah, majelis guru, peserta didik SDN 011 Bukit Kapur Kota Dumai dan 5 orang mahasiswa kampus mengajar Angkatan 6, serta dilaksanakan dari bulan Agustus-November 2023. Adapun kegiatan pengabdian yang dilakukan oleh tim sebagai berikut: (1) private membaca bagi peserta didik kelas rendah maupun kelas tinggi yang belum lancar membaca; (2) pembuatan poster, dengan beragam tema mengunakan bahan yang didaur ulang; (3) mengaktifkan madding sekolah untuk memancing kreatifitas peserta didik; (4) rutinitas membaca buku di perpustakaan; (5) membuat pojok literasi di perpustakaan dan di setiap ruang kelas; (6) pembiasaan kata Ajaib; (7)private belajar di rumah; (8) mengadakan festival literasi di sekolah. Untuk mengukur keefektifan kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan posttest dan pretest literasi pada kelas 5, Dimana hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan literasi peserta didik meningkat dari angka 69% menjadi 76%.Abstract: This PKM activity is important because partners need strengthening on the literacy side. During the observation, several problems related to literacy were found, such as the presence of high class students who were not yet fluent in reading and the lack of student visits to the library. The partners for this service are the principal, teacher council, students of SDN 011 Bukit Kapur, Dumai City and 5 students from the 6th teaching campus, and will be held from August-November 2023. The service activities carried out by the team are as follows: (1) private reading for low class and high class students who are not yet fluent in reading; (2) making posters, with various themes using recycled materials; (3) activating school madding to stimulate students' creativity; (4) routine reading books in the library; (5) create a literacy corner in the library and in every classroom; (6) Magic word familiarization; (7) private study at home; (8) holding a literacy festival at school. To measure the effectiveness of service activities, a literacy posttest and pretest were carried out in class 5, where the results showed that students' literacy knowledge increased from 69% to 76%.

Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan strategi literasi numerasi di sekolah mitra kampus mengajar dan tantangannya.  Penelitian dilakukan di SDN 011 Bukit Kapur Kota Dumai, pada rentang waktu Agustus-Desember 2023.  Adapun informan dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, majelis guru serta beberapa orang peserta didik .Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara maupun studi dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model miles and Huberman yang terdiri dari pengumpulan data, verfikasi dan reduksi data, penarikan kesimpulan. Adapun Teknik triangulasi menggunakan triangulasi sumber data. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa strategi penguatan literasi numerasi dilakukan dengan membuat media pembelajaran, menginisiasi program literasi numerasi di luar proses PBM seperti membuat pojok baca, pohon angka dan madding hingga mengadakan private membaca, sedangkan tantangan keberlanjutan strategi literasi terdiri dari minimnya inisiasi sekolah dalam memancing kreatifitas literasi numerasi peserta didik diluar rutinitas proses belajar mengajar dan kurangnya sarana prasarana sekolah.

Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan mengenai posisi dan model Pendidikan kewarganegaraan sebagai sarana infiltrasi nilai-nilai kebhinnekaan dalam menjaga persatuan Indonesia. Artikel ini menggunakan metode literature review dalam mengalisis masalah dan berupa mengemukakan upaya mengatasinya. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penelusuran sejumlah literature baik buku, berita di media massa maupun hasil penelitian terkait. Temuan penelitian menemukan bahwa Indonesia merupakan negara majemuk terdiri dari keberagaman dari segi Bahasa, agama, suku, budaya yang tentu mempengaruhi cara pandang, pola pikir, dan perilakunya. Jika tidak disikapi dengan baik maka akan mudah memantik konflik sosial. Oleh karena itu diperlukan Pendidikan kewarganegaraan dari segi Solusi edukasi kepada Masyarakat sejak dini sedari di bangku persekolahan untuk mengenal dan menghargai perbedaan yang ada. Kesadaran akan keberagaman perlu ditekankan sejak dini untuk menghindari sentiment primordial dan sukuisme. Model Pendidikan kewarganegaraan sebagai sarana infiltrasi nilai-nilai kebhinnekaan terdiri dari strategi, materi dan media yang diharpakan dapat memupuk rasa persatuan di Tengah perbedaan yang terbentang di Masyarakat.   This article aims to describe the position and model of citizenship education as a means of infiltrating the values ​​of diversity in maintaining the unity of Indonesia. This article uses the literature review method to analyze problems and propose efforts to overcome them. Data collection was carried out through searching a number of literature, including books, news in the mass media and related research results. The research findings found that Indonesia is a pluralistic country consisting of diversity in terms of language, religion, ethnicity, culture which of course influences perspectives, thought patterns and behavior. If it is not handled well, it will easily trigger social conflict. Therefore, citizenship education is needed in terms of educational solutions for the community from an early age from school to recognize and appreciate existing differences. Awareness of diversity needs to be emphasized from an early age to avoid primordial sentiment and tribalism. The citizenship education model as a means of infiltrating the values ​​of diversity consists of strategies, materials and media which are expected to foster a sense of unity amidst the differences that exist in society.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh beberapa persoalan yang dihadapi dalam pelaksanaan aktivitas organisasi, misalnya dari kurangnya partisipasi mahasiswa terhadap kegiatan-kegiatan kemahasiswaan. Serta kehadiran pandemi covid-19 telah melahirkan tekanan dan perubahan lingkungan eksternal dan internal kehidupan organisasi secara keseluruhan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis bagaimana persepsi mahasiswa terhadap peran organisasi intra kampus dalam membentuk karakter kepemimpinan kalangan mahasiswa pada masa pandemi covid-19 di Universitas Riau. Manfaat dari hasil penelitian ini yaitu menjadi sumber pembelajaran bagi semua pihak, Metode penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif, instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu angket, wawancara, dan dokumentasi yang terdiri dari 8 indikator dengan 16 pertanyaan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah Mahasiswa Universitas Riau. Pengambilan sampel dari keseluruhan populasi diambil dengan menggunakan teknik Quota Sampling dan untuk menentukan responden yang terdiri dari 10 orang perfakultas peneliti menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel secara Accidental Sampling. Secara keseluruhan, temuan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil rata-rata pada persentase alternative jawaban responden dominan yaitu 69,25% dimana rentang ini berada pada kategori “Baik” dengan keberadaan pada rentang 50,01%- 75%. Maka disimpulkan bahwa persepsi mahasiswa terhadap peran Organisasi Intra Kampus dalam membentuk karakter kepemimpinan mahasiswa pada masa Pandemi covid-19 di Universitas Riau berada pada kategori “Baik” Kata Kunci: Persepsi, Mahasiswa, Peran Organisasi Abstract This research is dependent on several problems in the implementation of organization activities, for example the lack of student participation in student activities. The presence of the covid-19 pandemic has given pressure and changes in the external and internal environment of whole life organization. This study aimed to find out and analyze how students perceive the role of intra-campus organizations in shaping leadership character among students during the covid-19 pandemic at Riau University. The benefit of the results of this study is that it becomes a source of learning for all parties. This research method is descriptive quantitative, the data collection instruments used in this study are questionnaires, interviews, and documentation consisting of 8 indicators with 16 questions. The population in this study were students of the Universitas Riau. Sampling from the entire population was taken using the Quota Sampling technique and to determine the respondents consisting of 10 people from the faculty, the researcher used the Accidental Sampling technique. The findings of this study show that the average percentage of alternative answers for dominant respondents is 69.25% where this range is in the "Good" category with an existence in the range of 50.01% - 75%. Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh perubahan sistem belajar di setiap elemen pendidikan yang disebabkan oleh Covid-19, dari pembelajaran online kemudian tatap muka terbatas sampai dengan tatap muka menggunakan sip kelas. Salah satu hal yang dapat mempengaruhi efektivitas belajar yaitu disebabkan oleh sikap atau watak pelajar saat mengikuti proses belajar mengajar atau yang sering disebut dengan Civic Dispotition. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Perbandingan Pembentukan Civic Disposition antara Siswa Laki-Laki dan Siswa Perempuan pada Pembelajaran PKn di SMP Negeri 2 Lirik. Manfaat dari hasil penelitian ini, yakni sebagai sumber pembelajaran bagi semua pihak. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IX sebanyak dengan 50 siswa. Peneliti menggunakan teknik quota sampling dimana sampel yang diambil adalah sebanyak 25 siswa laki-laki dan 25 siswa perempuan. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu data primer wawancara dan teknik angket atau kuesioner, serta data sekunder yang diperoleh dari observasi dan dokumentasi, yang terdiri dari 13 indikator dengan 31 pernyataan. Temuan dari hasil penelitian ini diketahui bahwa hasil uji hipotesis adalah F= 0,069 dan nilai sig pada Levene's Test for Equality of Variances sebesar 0,794 dan data dikatakan homogen karena nilai sig 0,794> 0,05. Nilai yang didapatkan pada kolom sig. (2-tailed) adalah 0,013, yang artinya nilai 0, 013 lebih kecil dari 0,05, maka Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. One of the things that can affect the effectiveness of learning is caused by the attitude or character of students when following the teaching and learning process or often with Civic Dispotition. The purpose of this study was to determine the Comparison of the Formation of Civic Disposition between Male and Female Students in Civics Learning at SMP Negeri 2 Lirik. The benefits of the results of this study, namely as a source of learning for all parties. The population used in this study were all students of class IX as many as 50 students. The researcher used quota sampling technique where the samples taken were 25 male students and 25 female students. The data collection instruments used were interview primary data and questionnaire or questionnaire techniques, as well as secondary data obtained from observation and documentation, which consisted of 13 indicators with 31 statements. The findings of this study indicate that the results of the hypothesis test are F = 0.069 and the sig value in Levene's Test for Equality of Variances is 0.794 and the data is said to be homogeneous because the sig value is 0.794> 0.05. The value obtained in the column sig. (2-tailed) is 0.013, which means the value of 0.013 is smaller than 0.05, then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected.
