Abstract

 Micro and small businesses engaged in ice cube production are highly dependent on the reliability of their production machines. A decrease in machine performance can have a direct impact on product quality and quantity. This study aims to analyze the actual condition of the machine, determine the appropriate type of maintenance, and apply the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) concept to improve machine effectiveness. The methods used include direct inspection, cycle time measurement, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) calculation. The results showed that the OEE value was at 76.12%, with an availability value of 91.67%, a performance rate of 92.31%, and a quality rate of 90%. This value indicates that the machine is in fairly good condition but needs periodic preventive repairs. Maintenance recommendations include the implementation of Autonomous Maintenance, operator training, and a structured maintenance schedule. Abstract

Sumber Maju Motor is a service workshop for making custom motorcycle frames that modify the original form of a manufacturer's motorcycle frame to suit the wishes of the motorcycle owner. In the Sumber Maju Motor Workshop, there are various kinds of problems that occur. One of them is the problem that occurs several times, namely work accidents when working on the manufacture of motorcycle parts due to the K3 program not yet running. The research entitled ANALYSIS OF HAZARD CONTROL USING JOB SAFETY ANALYSIS AND FAULT TREE ANALYSIS METHODS INCUSTOM MOTOR FRAME MANUFACTURING (Case Study at Sumber Maju Motor Workshop). This study aims to identify the causes of work accidents that occur and apply the K3 system during the process of working on a custom motorcycle frame with the Job Safety Analysis (JSA) method in an effort to control hazards or risks arising from the work carried out and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) to find the source of the most basic cause of an accident at work. Based on the results of the JSA, control of work accidents by procuring PPE for its employees in order to support occupational safety and health when doing work for each employee and the discipline of each employee in prioritizing work safety. While the results of the FTA analysis on the risk of being scratched by sharp edges, shortness of breath, and hearing loss are caused by various factors including equipment factors, work environment factors, and human factors that can cause work accidents.

Abstract

RIMOI KOPI was established as cafe at once manufacturers engaged in the field of food especially of coffee powder. In the production process, there is often a large number of defective products, if this allowed to happen it will result in a loss of consumer trust. Therefore, the aim of quality control is to find out the common ground that causes defective production. This quality control process using Seven Tools method which functions to control the product quality and reduce defective products. The results obtained in this study found two different types of defects in the coffee packaging, such as miscutting and seal damage. From two different types of the defective, it can be seen that seal damage defects are more dominant with higher percentage 86%, while miscutting defects has percentage 72%. The proposed improvements include checking the sealer machine, checking and maintaining machines more regularly, checking and evaluating the methods applied and improving the sealer machine to be able seal the coffee powder packaging and reduce the defective products.

Abstract

Data administration activities are generally performed in a static sitting position and require prolonged computer use, which may increase the risk of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs). This study aims to evaluate the working posture of a data administrator at the POLRESTA Airport Office and propose ergonomic improvements. The Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA) and Nordic Body Map (NBM) methods were employed to assess postural risks and identify musculoskeletal complaints. The results showed a RULA score of 7, indicating a high-risk posture that requires immediate corrective action. NBM findings revealed discomfort in the neck, shoulders, back, and wrists. Proposed improvements include adopting a more upright sitting posture, optimizing monitor viewing distance, using a laptop stand, and providing an ergonomic chair. These recommendations are expected to reduce MSD risks and improve work comfort and productivity.
