Abstract

This study aims to understand the concept of reading difficulties especially reading retardation, and the solution to fix that problem, according to Rushdi Ahmed Tuaima. The researcher also used a book by Abdul Hamid Sulaiman to compare the data. This type of research is library research. The method used in this research is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The data collection technique used is documentation and observation to know the application for treating reading difficulty in the school. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique used in this research is content analysis.  This research reveals that Retardation reading is a student's slowdown individual process in reading. This is measured not by comparing them with others but by their mental abilities. Rushdi Ahmed Tuaima suggested that the teacher should not force the students to achieve standards that other students have achieved. Teachers must motivate students to restore their self-confidence. Apart from this, exercise is also essential to do.  The treatment of reading difficulties was successfully applied in the 9th grade of Ali Maksum Islamic Junior High School, which improved the student's academic and mental aspects. The researcher hopes this research can be a reference for all teachers to implement for learning reading skills.

Abstract

This development research aims to develop a CEFR-based qowa'id learning evaluation tool using an interactive Wordwall game with the aim of identifying the level of student understanding and so that it can be accessed by students more flexibly without being limited by space and time, more effectively and is also expected to be more efficient in learning. its maintenance. This research is a research and development (Research & Development). This research aims to produce a product or develop a product. The results in this study are based on the student's own assessment response described through the distribution of a questionnaire that has been carried out with a percentage score of 91.19% of the maximum score of 100%. Student test results to identify qowa'id understanding, at the level of understanding the material at 78.51% and not understanding the material at 21.49%. Therefore, it can be concluded that almost all students give an assessment that can be categorized as Very Good on the Wordwall interactive quiz game that has been used and from the test results that have been carried out that on average students understand the qowa'id material that has been combined with the interactive Wordwall game.

Abstract

The Arabic textbook for Grade X MA, published by the Ministry of Religious Affairs in 2020, still requires development in its assessment component to align with the demands of the digital era and 21st-century learning needs. This article aims to analyze and develop a technology-based authentic assessment model for Maharah Kitabah that can be integrated into the Arabic language textbook for grade X MA published by the Ministry of Religious Affairs in 2020. The study employs the type of Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model to the development phase, with a descriptive method to analyze the components of the Maharah Kitabah assessment found in the textbook. The results showed that technology integration in authentic assessment can be done through several platforms: (1) Google Docs for collaborative writing and real-time feedback, (2) Canva for visual presentation development and creative narrative, (3) Augmented Reality for interactive learning, and object-based assessment, (4) Padlet for collaboration and idea sharing, (5) Seesaw for digital portfolios and learning documentation, and (6) Blogger for uploading materials and interacting through the comments column. Each platform has a comprehensive assessment rubric to objectively measure students' writing ability. This development aims to enhance the efficiency of the Maharah Kitabah assessment, foster students' engagement in learning, and better prepare them to meet the demands of the digital era.
