Abstract

The purpose of this research is to make a systematic, factual and accurate description, description or description of the facts, characteristics and relationships between the phenomena being investigated. Data collection techniques used in this study include observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. The data analysis used in this research is qualitative data analysis. This analysis is done by working with data, organizing data, sorting it into manageable units, synthesizing it, looking for and finding patterns, discovering what is important and what is learned, and deciding what to tell others. The results of this study indicate that the social care character education formed by the Qodiriyah wan Naqsabandiyah Order is to use two methods, namely dhikr and tazkiyat al-Nafs. The process of developing the personality of Tarekat Qodiriyah wa Naqsabandiyah Bongas Indramayu students, as is usually the case in the orderekat world, is carried out by the method of dhikr and soul cleansing (tazkiyat al-Nafs). Their motive for entering the tarekat is almost entirely based on economic motives. The guidance carried out has not succeeded in creating an inclusive student personality and has social concern in interacting with the community. Abstract

The application of traditional methods in learning Arabic is considered less successful, especially in introducing hijaiyyah letters, which results in stronger students' reading skills at the beginning level. The phonics method in Aṣwat learning is one of the many innovative language learning methods. A phonics method is a sound-based approach to teaching reading. This study aimed to see how much influence the phonics method had in teaching Aṣwat on students' reading skills at MIN Al-Muawanah Karawang. This research is an experimental one-group pretest-posttest design with the type of one-shot case study experiment. The research data were obtained from the pretest and posttest results, which who tested on a sample of 21 students at MIN Al-Muawanah Karawang. Data analysis and hypothesis testing used the normality test, one sample t-test, and paired sample t-test. The results of this study indicate that the difference in the average score of students before and after using the phonics method reached a difference of 55.89, where the initial, middle score was 7.22, and the average post-treatment score was 63.11. The difference in the mean scores was tested using a paired sample t-test with a significance value of 0.00 <0.05, which means that the use of the phonics method for nine fourth-grade students significantly affected students' beginning reading ability. Therefore, the results of this study can be used as an alternative to solving student problems in Aṣwat learning by educators, which has implications for increasing students' reading skills at the beginning level. Keywords: Phonic Method, Aṣwat, Student Ability, Reading Skills Abstrak Penerapan metode tradisional dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab dianggap kurang berhasil, terutama materi pengenalan huruf-huruf hijaiyyah yang berakibat pada lemahnya kemampuan membaca siswa pada level permulaan. Metode fonik dalam pembelajaran Aṣwat merupakan satu dari sekian banyak inovasi metode pembelajaran lingusitik. Metode fonik merupakan metode dengan pendekatan berbasis suara untuk mengajar membaca. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat seberapa besar pengaruh metode fonik dalam pembelajaran Aṣwat terhadap kemampuan membaca siswa di MIN Al-Muawanah Karawang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental one group pretest-porstest design dengan jenis ekperimen one-shot case study. Data penelitian diperoleh dari hasil pretest dan posttest yang diujikan pada sampel penelitian yang berjumlah 21 siswa MIN Al-Muawanah Karawang. Analisis data dan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji normalitas, uji t Satu Sampel, dan Uji T Sampel Berpasangan. perbedaan nilai rata-rata siswa sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan metode fonik mencapai selisisih sebesar 55,89, di mana rata-rata nilai awal sebesar 7,22, dan rata-rata nilai pasca treatment sebesar 63,11. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan nilai rata-rata tersebut diuji menggunakan paired sample t-test dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,00 < 0,05 yang berarti penggunaan metode fonik kepada 9 siswa kelas IV tersebut memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan dalam kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa. Oleh karena itu, dari hasil penelitian ini agar dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif pemecahan masalah siswa dalam pembelajaran Aṣwat oleh para pendidik yang berimplikasi pada meningkatnya kemampuan membaca siswa pada level permulaan. Abstract

This development research aims to develop a qowā'id learning evaluation tool based on CEFR using the interactive game Wordwall with the intention of identifying the level of understanding of students and so that it can be accessed by students in a more flexible manner without limited space and time, more effectively and it is hoped that it will also be more effective in maintenance. This research is research development (Research & Development). This research aims to produce a product or develop a product. The results in this study show an average score of material experts of 85%, which means the product is considered feasible. very good, and 88% linguists which means the product is rated very good. While the results of student responses by distributing questionnaires obtained a score proportion of 91.19%, which means very good. As for the test results to measure the level of understanding of the qawā'id material of students using the interactive game Wordwall showed that 78.51% understood the material and 21.49% did not understand the material. From these results it can be seen that the proportion of students who understand the material and do not understand the material for each number is very diverse.

Abstract

This study aims to compare the Arabic materials in the traditional Pondok Pesantren Al-Ansor and the Pondok Pesantren Al-Hasyimiyah Darul Ulum in North Sumatera. It is qualitative descriptive and comparative field research. Observation, interviews, and documentation were utilized to collect data for this study. This study's validity is examined using a triangulation of data sources. Data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion are the three phases of the data analysis technique. This study’s data analysis is inductive, with the researcher actively seeking for data, examining, analyzing, interpreting, and deriving conclusions from the observed phenomena. This study indicates that traditional Pondok Pesantren Al-Ansor and Pondok Pesantren Al-Hasyimiyah Darul Ulum Arabic language learning materials have similarities and differences. In the form of qawā’id, the material aspect of anāśir al-lugah is comparable. The distinction is whether the Arabic material is taught through a program or not, and the learning outcomes that result. The Arabic language material on the mufradāt and aṣwāt learning aspects are not explicitly stated in the learning program at Pondok Pesantren Al-Ansor as a traditional pondok pesantren, but the qawaid learning material aspect is the primary focus at Ponpes Al-Ansor. In terms of mufradāt and aṣwāt learning materials, Pondok Pesantren Al-Hasyimiyah produces students with superior kalām and istimā’ skills. The qawā’id material aspect, meanwhile, is not a priority program because learning is limited to what is in the textbook.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the intonation patterns of interrogative sentences for students in class 10 of MAS Al-Hikmah, Soe, Nusa Tenggara Timur, their acceptance by Arabic linguists, and their learning of speaking skills (mahārat al-kalām). This research is a case study that is included in qualitative descriptive research. The data collection technique in this study was to test the intonation of interrogative sentences with the help of the Praat application. The data were analyzed with qualitative descriptive and investigative methods. The results obtained are: first, students of class 10 at MAS Al-Hikmah can apply intonation patterns of Arabic interrogative sentences with varying acceptability values, assisted by teaching aids in the form of articulated sound images and contours. Second, apply the application of interrogative sentence intonation patterns to learning mahārat al-kalām, namely, students and lecturers as parties involved in this learning can apply the principles and fulfill the components of learning Arabic in general.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation and development of CEFR-based nahwu and shorof learning evaluations at MA An-Nur Jagasatru Cirebon. The research methodology used is the research and development method. In the development of this research, we used the Rowntree model, which was consisted of three stages, namely the planning stage, the development stage, and the evaluation stage. The trial phase began with the validation of material experts and linguists. Then, after being revised, the product was tested on class X students, namely 8 students for testing prototype 1 and 21 students for testing prototype 2. The results showed that the average score of material experts was 85%, which meant the product was considered very good, and linguists 88%, which meant the product was considered very good. Then at the testing stage of prototype 1, an average score of 64.37, which meant the product was considered quite good, and at the testing stage of prototype 2, an average score of 74.71, which meant it was considered very good. Based on interviews with teachers, they obtained very good results. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the evaluation of nahwu and shorof learning based on CEFR is feasible and effective as an evaluation tool in nahwu and shorof learning, especially in MA An-Nur Jagasatru Cirebon.

Abstract

Tulisan ini memaparkan perbedaan pandangan dua tokoh terkenal dalam filsafat Islam, Al-Ghazali dan Ibn Rusyd, terhadap konsep alam semesta, sumber pengetahuan, dan pendidikan. Metodologi penelitian ini melibatkan analisis literatur yang mendalam untuk memahami argumen dan perspektif kedua tokoh ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Al-Ghazali cenderung memprioritaskan keberagamaan dan sufistik dalam pendidikan, sementara Ibn Rusyd menekankan rasionalitas dan pertumbuhan intelektual. Kedua pendekatan ini mempengaruhi paradigma pendidikan Islam kontemporer, khususnya dalam konteks kurikulum dan peran pengetahuan. Limitasi dari penelitian ini melibatkan ruang lingkup studi yang terbatas pada dua tokoh dan kurangnya data empiris. Untuk penelitian selanjutnya, disarankan adanya kajian empiris untuk memahami implementasi dan dampak dari perspektif ini dalam pendidikan Islam kontemporer. Penelitian ini berdampak penting pada pembuat kebijakan pendidikan, desainer kurikulum, dan edukator yang terlibat dalam pendidikan Islam.

Abstract

This study examines Julian Rotter's approach to behaviorism on the locus of control related to its application in learning Arabic. This study seeks to complement the shortcomings of previous studies that were not discussed, namely the behaviorism approach in learning Arabic from the perspective of Julian Rotter's theory. The theory of behaviors by Julian Rotter suggests that there are four aspects of Locus of Control, namely: potential behavior, expectations, values of reinforcing elements, and psychological situations. This research uses a qualitative approach with the literature review method. A literature review is a method of studying library sources to obtain research data. The results of this study show that all aspects of Locus of Control can be applied to motivate students further to learn Arabic. Regarding learning, locus of control can be an alternative to enrich perspectives in learning guidance procedures to address students' learning difficulties. This is inseparable from two factors influencing students' learning difficulties: internal (psycho-physical) and external (social) factors. Following the described findings, reorienting the locus of control in managing student learning difficulties systematically and comprehensively can be an expected format to help accurately diagnose students' learning difficulties so that programmed intervention steps can effectively assist students in solving their problems. The process includes case identification, problem identification, diagnosis, prognosis, remedial/referral, evaluation, and follow-up. All these stages are carried out by integrating the locus of control system

Abstract

Modern humans are experiencing various acute crises. Scientific and technological advancements have ironically become a boomerang for humanity, dominating nature and creating a materialistic and hedonistic lifestyle. This study aims to discover Seyyed Hossein Nasr's perspective on spiritual intelligence and the importance of social virtue education in dealing with modern human problems. This qualitative study employs productive interpretation to analyse the data extracted from the main works of Seyyed Hossein Nasr. This study revealed that Nasr's insights shape a fundamental understanding that promotes spiritual awareness within the educational context, encouraging the integration of spiritual values into the social domain. Such integration will create a more just, empathetic, and environmentally conscious society. Nasr's ideas also provide a pathway to address the challenges posed by modernity by returning to spiritual values and adopting a balanced approach to religion and culture.Contribution: The contribution/urgency that the article gives through this exploration is to shed light on the intricate interplay between spirituality, education, and social values, enriching Nasr's timeless contributions.

Abstract

One component of the language that Arabic learners first face is ashwat or sound. with sound teaching strategies that the teacher does correctly and precisely, will help students overcome difficulties in learning ashwat arabiyah. mastery of language sounds becomes important, because sounds are the basic thing for mastering listening skills. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to describe the strategies and steps of teaching ashwat arabiyah and their influence on the mastery of maharah istima'. Using a descriptive-qualitative design, this study reveals three basic steps in ashwat teaching, namely: presentation of pronunciation models, giving exercises/drills, and practicing language use. as for The teaching of language sounds is the most basic activity to develop listening skills. there are five phases of listening learning, including; Phase recognition, initial comprehension, mid-comprehension, advanced comprehension and Assessment/taqwim. there are 13 steps of listening learning related to ashwat teaching, including hearing and saying, listening-writing (dictation), listening-doing, hearing-guessing, expanding sentences, finding objects, whispering chains, completing stories, identifying keywords, identifying topic sentences, abbreviating/summarizing, paraphrases, and answering questions.
