Abstract

Differentiated learning was an innovative educational approach aimed at meeting the learning needs of each student according to their characteristics, potential, and learning styles. In modern education, students had varying levels of readiness, interests, and cognitive profiles, which required teaching strategies to be flexible and adaptive. The purpose of this study was to examine the effectiveness of differentiated learning strategies in improving student learning outcomes and engagement. This research employed a qualitative method with a case study approach conducted in several schools that had implemented differentiated learning. Data were collected through observations, interviews with teachers and students, and analysis of instructional documents. Thematic analysis was used to explore how differentiation strategies were applied and their impact on the learning process. The results showed that well-implemented differentiated learning strategies enhanced students’ motivation, conceptual understanding, and active participation in the classroom. Teachers who applied these strategies were better able to adapt learning content, processes, and products to accommodate students’ unique needs, leading to a more inclusive and effective learning environment. In conclusion, differentiated learning proved to be an effective method for addressing individual learning needs and improving educational quality. Therefore, educators required ongoing training and support to design and implement differentiation strategies effectively across diverse educational contexts.

Abstract

The proliferation of modern snack trends and the limitations of food certification pose significant challenges to halalan thoyyiban consumption compliance among students. This study aims to analyze the process of internalizing compliance values in food consumption through Fiqh learning, examine the effectiveness of the methods and media employed, and identify the constraints alongside their mitigation strategies at MIN 1 Bandar Lampung. This study utilized a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques consisting of in-depth interviews, limited participant observation, and documentation studies. The research subjects included Fiqh teachers, grade VI students, the headmaster, counseling teachers, and canteen managers. Data were analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana model, which encompasses data collection, data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings demonstrate that: (1) The Fiqh learning workflow proceeds systematically through value transformation (awareness of food safety issues), value transaction (dialogic understanding of hikmah tasyri’), and value trans-internalization (formation of independent commitment); (2) The application of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) combined with real packaging objects and educational animation videos effectively enhances students' accuracy and critical thinking in identifying official halal logos, critical ingredients, and thoyyib criteria; (3) Major constraints such as peer pressure, viral snack trends, and inconsistent home supervision are mitigated through strategies including strengthening halal-certified canteens, establishing the "Halal Checker Cilik" cadet program, fostering parenting synergy with guardians, and providing digital app-based smart consumer education. This study concludes that contextual and collaborative Fiqh learning successfully transforms theoretical legal understanding into an institutionalized moral consciousness in students' daily consumption behavior
