Abstract

Software effort estimation was considered importantly in planning stage of information technology and communication projects as a determination of resource allocation. The level of accuracy in estimating the cost that must be done in order to minimize failure. On the other hand, there have been many studies that have discussed and tested the business estimation method, one of which is Function Points (FP). The FP method is influenced by 5 main parameters and 14 items relative complexity factors. So it can be concluded that if, a tertiary education institution, wants to develop an BKD (Lecturer Performance Load) application to support its business processes, the required cost is IDR 42,181,198 or equivalent to an effort of 3,273.11 man / hour.

Abstract

An integrated information system is a need to help solve problems in managing business transactions. SAP application is one application that is able to provide solutions to these problems. The purpose of writing this research is to plan running business processes, plan implementation of the current SAP system related to the implementation and maintenance of SAP applications and provide development suggestions based on the results of planning obtained, in terms of business processes, performance, and financial. For the analysis, the IT Balanced Scorecard method is used, while for system development the ASAP (Accelerated SAP) methodology is used. This research produces an analysis of the planning of the company's business processes in implementing the implementation of the SAP financial and controlling ERP.

Abstract

Abstract Central government agencies until the current local government have started to implement an electronic-based governance system (SPBE). SPBE is a government organization that utilizes information and communication technology to provide services to SPBE Users. The government has established SPBE guidelines stipulated in Presidential Regulation No. 95 of 2018 on SPBE and to ensure the implementation of SPBE can run to achieve its objectives to realize an integrated and comprehensive government set forth The Ministerial Regulation of PAN-RB No. 5 of 2018 concerning SPBE Evaluation Guidelines. In 2019, the Ministry of PAN-RB conducted SPBE evaluation activities through the SPBE self-assessment method and obtained SPBE index results worth 3.14 on a scale of 0-5 and entered into the GOOD predicate. From these results, the Gresik district government needs to improve the quality of SPBE. In September 2020 the Government again established The Ministerial Regulation of PAN-RB No. 59 of 2020 concerning the monitoring and evaluation of SPBE. The regulation has been listed 4 Domains, 8 Aspects, and 47 indicators to assess the maturity level of SPBE. The result of the evaluation maturity level of SPBE evaluation of Gresik district government based on Regulation of the Minister of PAN-RB Number 59 of 2020 is 2.54. Interpretation of the value of maturity level is included in the Predicate Enough is the level of maturity of the process capability occupied level 2 (managed) and the level of service capability occupied level 2 (Interaction). Abstract

Millennial students, born between 1981-1996, are often considered a generation that is sophisticated in technology, but is also faced with several challenges. They tend to rely too much on technology, lack initiative in completing tasks themselves, are distracted by many distractions, and are susceptible to health problems. Apart from that, social and environmental factors also influence their thinking patterns and interactions. In the educational context, the practice of assignment jockeying and plagiarism are serious issues. This research emerged as a response to developments in Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology, such as ChatGPT generation 3 from OpenAI, which can be expected to address the problems of task jockeying and plagiarism. The aim of this research is to scientifically examine the potential of AI in combating dishonest academic practices because no previous research has investigated the correlation between the use of AI and overcoming student assignment jockeying and plagiarism. In the world of education, assignment jockeying and plagiarism are serious problems that can undermine academic integrity. Utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology, such as ChatGPT from OpenAI, can be an interesting solution to address this problem. Therefore, this research aims to scientifically prove through research the enthusiasm of students in (a) doing coursework using AI without worrying about plagiarism and (b) being able to eradicate assignment jockeys.

Abstract

This study proposes a Function Point Analysis (FPA) based software development effort estimation methodology integrated with Use Case Diagrams. These methods include identifying actor activities, classifying those activities into FPA categories, and calculating Unadjusted Function Points (UFP). Followed by the calculation of Technical Complexity Factors (TCF) and Adjusted Function Points (AFP), this study aims to produce more accurate man-hours estimates. Results show a UFP of 162 TCF of 11, AFP of 123.12, and an estimated effort of 1846.8 hours worked, while the actual effort is 1228 hours. Evaluation of estimates using the metrics Mean Magnitude of Relative Error (MMER) 0.34, Mean Magnitude of Relative Error (MMRE) 0.50, Mean Absolute Error (MAE) 618.80, Mean Balanced Relative Error (MBRE) 0.50, Mean Inverse Balanced Relative Error (MIBRE) 0.34, and Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE) 618.80, showed sufficient precision despite the overestimation. The study suggests the need for adjustments in TCF calculations and considering development environment factors in more detail to improve estimation accuracy. These findings are essential in improving the precision of effort estimation methodologies in software development, particularly in projects that use Use Case Diagrams as the primary framework.

Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) poses a challenge to the role of educators in the field of education, with the potential of being replaced by AI, which may reduce the relevance and sustainability of educators' roles. This research focuses on innovative solutions by implementing the Role Play Model and Project-Based Learning. The methodology employs systematic literature review with the assistance of biblioshiny. The results indicate that the implementation of the Role Play Model and Project-Based Learning by educators can mitigate the risk of replacement by AI. The active interaction and guidance provided by educators significantly contribute to students' understanding and skills, aspects that cannot be fully replaced by artificial intelligence. This study offers valuable insights to ensure the sustainability of educators' roles in the era of AI and digital transformation.

Abstract

Pemberdayaan Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) di sektor kelautan merupakan pilar penting dalam konsep Blue Economy. Studi kasus pada UMKM kerupuk ikan UD Mekar ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi permasalahan daya saing produk yang rendah akibat kemasan konvensional yang membatasi masa simpan dan citra produk. Melalui metode pengabdian masyarakat yang partisipatif dan kolaboratif, diimplementasikan inovasi teknologi berupa kemasan aktif (active packaging) yang dilengkapi penyerap oksigen. Hasil utama dari program ini menunjukkan keberhasilan yang signifikan, di mana masa simpan produk berhasil ditingkatkan secara drastis dari rata-rata 9 hari menjadi 40 hari, berdasarkan data percobaan yang tervalidasi. Keberhasilan teknis ini didukung oleh perancangan ulang desain kemasan yang lebih modern dan strategis untuk meningkatkan nilai jual, dengan target peningkatan omzet usaha minimal 15% dari skala bisnis yang telah berjalan. Kesimpulannya, program ini berhasil menjadi model percontohan yang efektif dalam transfer teknologi dari akademisi ke industri, yang menunjukkan bahwa kolaborasi erat mampu meningkatkan nilai tambah produk kelautan secara nyata dan memperkuat daya saing UMKM secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Universitas Internasional Semen Indonesia (UISI) di Gresik adalah merupakan perguruan tinggi yang berada di bawah naungan Yayasan Semen Indonesia Tbk. Teknologi informasi (TI) yang ada pada Universitas Internasional Semen Indonesia mempunyai bagian yang berada di Direktorat Information and Communication Tecnology (ICT). Tugas dan fungsi dari divisi ICT meliputi berbagai masalah tentang teknologi informasi. Direktorat ICT memiliki tugas pokok yaitu mengelola, memelihara, menjaga dan memastikan  program, perangkat keras, perangkat lunak hingga jaringan komputer. Berdasarkan pembagian fokus penelitian, maka penulis membatasi riset ini hanya pada pengelolaan kapasitas bandwidth internet di UISI. Penelitian ini didasari pada kerangka kerja Control Objective for Information and related Technology (COBIT) 4.1 terutama pada sub proses DS 3. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara terhadap Direktorat ICT dan inspeksi menggunakan tools Speedtest.net. Hasil dari penelitian ini, tingkat kematangan menggunakan COBIT 4.1 pada sub proses DS 3 adalah  2.9 (skala 5), artinya proses yang dilakukan secara berkala namun tidak ada panduan formal dan aturan yang menjadi standar, sedangkan pada tingkat kepatuhan yaitu sebesar 11.6 persen karena tidak adanya laporan, pengecekan dan kontrol. AbstractInternational Semen Indonesia University (UISI) in Gresik is a university under the auspices of the Semen Indonesia Tbk Foundation. Information technology (IT) at the International University of Semen Indonesia has a section in the Information and Communcation Tecnology (ICT) Directorate. The tasks and functions of the ICT division include various problems regarding information technology. The ICT Directorate has the main task of managing, maintaining, maintaining and ensuring programs, hardware, software to computer networks. Based on the division of research focus, the authors limit this research only to the management of internet bandwidth capacity in UISI. This research is based on the Objective for Information and related Technology (COBIT) framework 4.1, especially in the DS 3 sub-process. Data was obtained through interviews with the ICT Directorate and inspection using Speedtest.net tools. The results of this study, the level of maturity using COBIT 4.1 on the DS 3 sub-process is 2.9 (scale 5), meaning that the process is carried out periodically but there are no formal guidelines and rules that become standard, while the level of compliance is 11.6 percent due to absence reports, checks and controls.

Abstract

Audit TI adalah bentuk suatu pengendalian atau pengawasan dari infrastruktur teknologi informasi yang dilakukan meliputi keseluruhannya, atau secara singkat dapat dikenal sebagai proses evaluasi dari semua kegiatan  TI dalam organisasi. Auditor TI adalah orang yang melakukan audit, yang memiliki tugas yaitu mengumpulkan bukti-bukti melalui wawancara, survei, observasi, dan review dokumentasi. Terdapat dua macam data, yaitu data primer dan data sekunder. Data primer diperoleh melalui observasi atau wawancara, sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh dari jurnal ilmiah, e-book, dan lain-lain. Alur penelitian yang akan dilaksanakan dalam pengelolaan masalah pendistribusian kelas di UISI (Universitas Internasional Semen Indonesia). Hasil yang didapatkan adalah nilai compliance 8.125 persen dan maturity level yang berada di tingkat 1 yaitu senilai 1.6 (skala 5). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa UISI masih belum memanfaatkan TI dengan baik dan secara maksimal. AbstractIT audit is a form of control or supervision of the information technology infrastructure that is carried out covering the whole, or briefly can be known as the evaluation process of all IT activities in the organization. IT auditors are people who conduct audits, who have the task of collecting evidence through interviews, surveys, observations, and documentation reviews. There are two types of data, namely primary data and secondary data. Primary data is obtained through observation or interview, while secondary data is obtained from scientific journals, e-books, and others. The flow of research that will be carried out in the management of class distribution problems in UISI (University International of Semen Indonesia). The results obtained are 8.125 percent compliance value and level 1 maturity level which is worth 1.6 (scale 5). This shows that UISI still does not utilize IT properly and optimally.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology opens up new avenues for cybercriminals to carry out acts of social engineering and eavesdropping between devices. Social engineering refers to manipulation, influence, or deception used to gain control of a computer system. This technique is utilized by cybercriminals to steal sensitive information from their victims. This research focuses on analyzing social engineering and eavesdropping techniques between devices using SCRCPY, an Android screen control tool that allows remote control of Android devices from a computer. SCRCPY presents new opportunities for cybercriminals to launch spoofing and sniffing attacks, two common techniques used in social engineering attacks. This research explores various eavesdropping scenarios, analyzing interactions between devices and users, as well as security system responses to suspicious activity. The results show that SCRCPY can be used for various social engineering and eavesdropping attacks. Cybercriminals can use SCRCPY to gain control of a victim's Android device through the perpetrator's desktop computer. These findings indicate that social engineering attacks and eavesdropping between devices are becoming increasingly sophisticated and difficult to detect. Therefore, users need to increase their awareness of these risks and take steps to protect themselves. Keywords: Social engineering, SCRCPY, spoofing, sniffing, device security.
