Abstract

The development of information and communication technology has brought major changes to people's lives, including in the way they communicate and interact. One example is the emergence of social media application platforms that allow users to connect with other people, share information and build communities. However, on the other hand, social media application platforms also raise concerns regarding user data privacy. Users are often unaware of how their data is collected, used and shared by social media application platforms. This can pose a risk of data misuse, such as identity theft, fraud and cyberbullying. To address these concerns, many social media application platforms provide privacy features that allow users to control how their data is used. These privacy features can include profile privacy settings, data access controls, and data sharing options. This paper aims to analyze the effectiveness of privacy features on social media application platforms. This paper will discuss the types of privacy features available, how they work, and how effective they are in protecting user data. This paper will also discuss several case studies related to data privacy violations on social media application platforms.

Abstract

This study investigates public opinion on Instagram social media regarding Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs). Instagram has become a prominent platform for sharing opinions and content, making it crucial to understand how CNNs are perceived and discussed. The analysis utilizes sentiment analysis and content analysis techniques to gauge the sentiments and topics surrounding CNN discussions on Instagram. Findings reveal the dominant sentiments and prevalent themes in public discourse, shedding light on the broader perceptions and understanding of CNN technology within the Instagram community.

Abstract

In this digital era, leveraging social media platforms such as Facebook holds significant potential for developing the business networks of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM). Facebook provides a vast platform for UMKM to expand their market reach. One innovative approach is the use of Big Data in marketing strategies and business network development. By analyzing data obtained from user interactions on Facebook, UMKM can identify consumer patterns and preferences, enabling them to formulate more effective and personalized marketing strategies. This research also discusses various tools and techniques that can be used to process and analyze big data, as well as case studies on the application of big data in the development of UMKM business networks on the Facebook platform.

This research explores the implementation of "End-to-End" technology in the context of data security and user privacy on the WhatsApp social media application. "End-to-End" plays a crucial role in maintaining the confidentiality of communications on these platforms, by analyzing the encryption mechanisms used and their impact on the security of user information. Abstract

The birth certificate registration process often faces obstacles, such as long queues and long processing times at the Population and Civil Registration Office of Binjai City. This study aims to design and develop a mobile web-based application that makes it easier for the public to register for birth certificates online, thereby increasing the efficiency of public services. The system development method used is the Waterfall model, which includes needs analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. This application is designed using the HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP frameworks for a responsive mobile interface, and MySQL as a database. The test results show that this application is able to speed up the registration process and minimize data errors, and receive positive responses from users regarding ease of access and system reliability. With this application, it is hoped that the Population and Civil Registration Office of Binjai City can improve the quality of digital population services

Abstract

Pelatihan Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) menjadi salah satu strategi penting dalam meningkatkan keterampilan digital generasi muda, khususnya Gen-Z yang sangat dekat dengan teknologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan pelatihan TIK melalui pengembangan game edukatif di LKP Karya Prima Kursus sebagai sarana pembelajaran kreatif dan interaktif. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif dengan mengamati proses pelatihan, keterlibatan peserta, serta hasil akhir berupa produk game edukatif sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan ini mampu meningkatkan kreativitas, kemampuan berpikir kritis, dan kolaborasi peserta dalam menyelesaikan tantangan berbasis teknologi. Selain itu, peserta merasa lebih termotivasi dalam mengintegrasikan pembelajaran dengan teknologi yang menyenangkan. Kesimpulannya, pelatihan TIK berbasis game edukatif efektif dalam memberikan pengalaman belajar yang relevan, adaptif, serta sesuai kebutuhan Gen-Z dalam menghadapi perkembangan era digital.

Abstract

Abstract: Developing an efficient and flexible information system is a challenge in meeting the needs of an ever-growing organization. This study aims to design and implement a modular framework in developing a payroll information system at PT. Jekael Invesco. The modular framework was chosen to provide ease in managing, developing, and maintaining the system, as well as ensuring scalability and integration with other systems. The research methods used include needs analysis, module-based system design, framework implementation, and system testing. The modular framework is designed by dividing the main functions of the system, such as employee data management, salary calculation, benefits management, and financial reporting, into independent modules that can operate in an integrated manner. The system development process follows the Agile approach to ensure that the system can be developed iteratively and adaptively according to changing organizational needs. The results of the study show that the application of a modular framework to the payroll information system provides a number of benefits, such as increased efficiency of data management, ease of adding or changing features, and reducing time and costs in the system maintenance process. In addition, this system was successfully integrated with the existing financial system at PT. Jekael Invesco, thus supporting the automation of the overall payroll process. The conclusion of this study is that the modular framework has proven effective in increasing the flexibility, efficiency, and scalability of the payroll information system. The implementation of this framework is expected to be a solution for other companies facing similar challenges in developing information systems. Keyword: Modular Framework, Payroll Information System, Agile, PT. Jekael Invesco, Systems Development Abstrak: Pengembangan sistem informasi yang efisien dan fleksibel merupakan tantangan dalam memenuhi kebutuhan organisasi yang terus berkembang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan framework modular dalam pengembangan sistem informasi penggajian pada PT. Jekael Invesco. Framework modular dipilih untuk memberikan kemudahan dalam pengelolaan, pengembangan, dan pemeliharaan sistem, serta memastikan skalabilitas dan integrasi dengan sistem lain. Metode penelitian yang digunakan meliputi analisis kebutuhan, desain sistem berbasis modul, implementasi framework, dan pengujian sistem. Framework modular dirancang dengan membagi fungsi utama sistem, seperti pengelolaan data karyawan, perhitungan gaji, manajemen tunjangan, dan laporan keuangan, ke dalam modul-modul independen yang dapat beroperasi secara terintegrasi. Proses pengembangan sistem mengikuti pendekatan Agile untuk memastikan sistem dapat dikembangkan secara iteratif dan adaptif sesuai dengan perubahan kebutuhan organisasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan framework modular pada sistem informasi penggajian memberikan sejumlah manfaat, seperti peningkatan efisiensi pengelolaan data, kemudahan dalam penambahan atau pengubahan fitur, serta pengurangan waktu dan biaya dalam proses pemeliharaan sistem. Selain itu, sistem ini berhasil diintegrasikan dengan sistem keuangan yang ada di PT. Jekael Invesco, sehingga mendukung otomatisasi proses penggajian secara keseluruhan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah framework modular terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan fleksibilitas, efisiensi, dan skalabilitas sistem informasi penggajian. Abstract

Abstract: The development of information technology has significantly contributed to improving efficiency and effectiveness in various sectors, including education. One of the essential aspects of school management is the administration of tuition fee (SPP) payments, which in many cases is still carried out manually. This manual process often leads to several problems such as delays in recording, administrative errors, and lack of information transparency. This study aims to design and develop a web-based information system for managing SPP payments at SMK Rahmat Islamiyah Medan using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method. RAD was chosen because it enables faster system development through iterative phases including planning, requirements analysis, prototype design, implementation, and continuous evaluation based on user feedback. The system provides key features such as student data management, billing management, payment transaction recording, and real-time payment reports. With this system, the school can manage tuition fee payments more effectively, accurately, and transparently, while parents are able to easily monitor their child’s payment status online. The testing results indicate that the system minimizes recording errors, accelerates administrative processes, and improves user satisfaction. Therefore, the web-based SPP payment information system designed using the RAD method is expected to support a more modern, efficient, and accountable financial management process within the school. Keywords: Information System, Tuition Fee Payment, Web-Based, Rapid Application Development (RAD), SMK Rahmat Islamiyah Medan.   Abstrak: Perkembangan teknologi informasi telah memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam peningkatan efisiensi dan efektivitas pelayanan di berbagai bidang, termasuk sektor pendidikan. Salah satu aspek penting dalam manajemen sekolah adalah pengelolaan pembayaran Sumbangan Pembinaan Pendidikan (SPP) yang sering kali masih dilakukan secara manual, sehingga menimbulkan berbagai kendala seperti keterlambatan pencatatan, kesalahan administrasi, dan kurangnya transparansi informasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun sistem informasi pembayaran tagihan SPP berbasis web di SMK Rahmat Islamiyah Medan dengan menggunakan metode Rapid Application Development (RAD). Metode RAD dipilih karena mampu mempercepat proses pengembangan sistem melalui tahapan perencanaan, analisis kebutuhan, perancangan prototipe, implementasi, serta evaluasi secara berulang berdasarkan umpan balik pengguna. Sistem yang dibangun menyediakan fitur utama berupa pencatatan data siswa, pengelolaan tagihan, pencatatan transaksi pembayaran, serta penyediaan laporan pembayaran secara real-time. Dengan adanya sistem ini, pihak sekolah dapat melakukan pengelolaan pembayaran SPP secara lebih efektif, akurat, dan transparan, sementara orang tua siswa dapat dengan mudah memantau status pembayaran secara online. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem informasi ini dapat meminimalisasi kesalahan pencatatan, mempercepat proses administrasi, serta meningkatkan kepuasan pengguna. Dengan demikian, sistem informasi pembayaran SPP berbasis web yang dirancang menggunakan metode RAD diharapkan mampu mendukung proses manajemen keuangan sekolah yang lebih modern, efisien, dan akuntabel.
