Abstract

This qualitative research aims to identify the role of Islamic financial literacy and local wisdom in using Sharia banking products. The study employs a qualitative method through a systematic literature review, sourcing data from credible journals with national and international indexes. The collected data is analyzed using the VOSviewer tool, which systematically maps trends and bibliometric networks and visualizes overlay maps and research density levels. The findings indicate that Islamic financial literacy and local wisdom significantly influence financial decisions to use Sharia banking products wherever these banks operate. In addition, local values have fundamental values that are integrated with the operational principles of Sharia banking so that it becomes a meeting point between Sharia banking and local wisdom that is owned by the community so that people in choosing Sharia banking products as a financial decision are not only driven by values. Sharia is also greatly influenced by culture.

Abstract

The existence of rimpu in the Bima area has become a tradition, perception, and expression that indicates the awareness of women in cultivating local clothing without leaving the substance of Islamic teachings and carrying out their religious teachings. This research aims to examine the culture and existence of Bima women from a gender perspective. This research uses qualitative research with a literature study. The results show that the existence of rimpu for women is a means of expressing freedom for women by paying attention to theological and sociological values. Rimpu, which in the modern era has begun to erode and is in a dilemma with contemporary women’s styles, is less concerned about the cultural identity of their area. Therefore, rimpu is an encounter of Islamic teachings with local culture, requiring the involvement of all parties in preserving and caring for it as a local cultural identity

Abstract

In the current digital era, learning models are continuously undergoing rapid changes and developments, marked by the emergence of various strategies, methods, and diverse learning approaches. However, amid these advancements, the traditional learning model in Javanese pesantren persists to this day. One enduring model is Quranic learning. This article aims to explore the sustainability and relevance of the Quranic learning model in Javanese Pesantren, which remains integral to Islamic education in Indonesia. The research methodology employed is descriptive qualitative, utilizing data derived from interviews and observations conducted at al-Balagh Pesantren in East Java. The findings of this research reveal that the Quranic learning model in Islamic boarding schools possesses unique and distinctive characteristics, placing a primary emphasis on Quranic studies. The sorogan and bandongan learning methods are two commonly employed approaches in Javanese Pesantren. These methods significantly impact the learning process within these boarding schools, particularly in reinforcing students' comprehension of the subject matter and fostering social interaction skills, as well as establishing connections with teachers and peers.

Abstract

Serat Mbonang is a classical Javanese religious manuscript attributed to Sunan Bonang that contains teachings on theosophy, theology, kalam, and Sufism. Although previous studies have examined its doctrinal and metaphysical aspects, limited research has explored its axiological structure and its relevance for contemporary Islamic character education. This study aims to address this gap by analyzing the integration of divine and human values in Serat Mbonang through the lens of Islamic educational axiology. The research employs a qualitative descriptive design using library data. Primary data consist of the Serat Mbonang manuscript, while secondary data include scholarly works on Nusantara religious literature, Sufism, and Islamic educational philosophy. Data were analyzed through textual analysis, interpretative reading, and axiological categorization supported by hermeneutic interpretation. The findings show, first, that Serat Mbonang constructs a coherent value system in which tawhid, spiritual discipline, and ethical conduct are presented as mutually reinforcing principles. Second, the manuscript embeds character education through aesthetic and cultural expressions, demonstrating the pedagogical role of art in Walisongo traditions. Third, the text offers an integrated model of value formation that rejects the dichotomy between divine and human values. These findings imply that Serat Mbonang provides a culturally grounded framework for Islamic character education relevant to modern contexts. The study concludes by recommending the integration of local wisdom-based manuscripts into contemporary educational models to strengthen value-oriented learning.

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between financing quality and the financial performance of Bank Muamalat Indonesia by analyzing non-performing financing (NPF), capital adequacy (CAR), and inflation. Using 43 quarterly financial reports from 2015 to 2025, data were analyzed via PLS-SEM with SmartPLS 3, employing 10,000-subsample bootstrapping and a Two-Stage Approach. Results indicate that rising NPF is associated with declining asset growth (β = −0.509; p = 0.012), while its relationship with revenue growth is not significant (p = 0.230). Capital adequacy reinforces the negative association with asset growth (β = −0.418; p = 0.032), but shows no significant link to revenue growth (p = 0.943). Inflation demonstrates a positive and significant relationship with both asset and revenue growth. The model explains 40.6% of the variance in asset growth and 20.0% in revenue growth. Strong capital positions appear to make banks more cautious in financing disbursement when NPF rises. Strengthening financing selection and optimizing capital utilization can support more stable bank performance growth.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has transformed the learning environment of early childhood, creating both opportunities and challenges for cognitive development. While digital media can provide diverse educational resources, its effectiveness largely depends on the quality of parental guidance and supervision. This study aims to examine the strengthening of early childhood cognitive stimulation through parental assistance within an educational digital media ecosystem. The research focuses on how parents facilitate, monitor, and optimize children's interactions with educational digital platforms to support cognitive growth. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, involving observations, interviews, and documentation with parents and early childhood education stakeholders. The findings reveal that parental involvement plays a crucial role in enhancing children's cognitive abilities, including problem-solving skills, language development, memory retention, creativity, and critical thinking. Educational digital media became more effective when parents actively selected age-appropriate content, provided learning guidance, and encouraged interactive discussions during and after media use. Furthermore, a collaborative ecosystem involving families, educators, and digital learning resources contributed significantly to creating meaningful learning experiences for children. The study concludes that strengthening parental assistance within the educational digital media ecosystem is essential for maximizing the cognitive development potential of early childhood in the digital era while minimizing the negative impacts of uncontrolled media exposure.
