Abstract

The concept of green eco-tourism is a concept of regional development for environmentally sustainable tourism activities. Tourism activities have a significant effect on the development and improvement of the economic, social, cultural sectors and the quality of the surrounding environment which subsequently causes the global issue of World Tourism Organization (WTO) to emerge. It is then relevant to apply the concept of eco-green tourism in developing the strategic areas intended for tourism in line with the program of the government of Surakarta city which aims at developing the city within the concept of eco-culture city. Some tourist villages (kampung wisata) with local wisdom potentials as the historical areas in Surakarta city are still not handled optimally. This trend can be seen in some of areas which have begun to lose their original characteristics and have even changed function. This phenomenon will slowly and certainly erode the local wisdoms of the historical villages which will eventually cause the unique characteristics as the local potentials of the city to disappear.  Therefore, one of the right and integrated actions to handle such a problem is the research model of development of the tourist villages through LID (Low Impact Development) by having the concept of eco-green tourism. The objective of this research is to formulate the model of development of the tourist villages through LID (Low Impact Development) in bringing eco-green tourism into reality. This formulation is based on descriptive explorative method. This research was conducted in the historical area of Kauman tourist village which still has the authenticity of potentials of the value of characteristics of high local wisdoms which are still in existence and development. The results of this research are the model formulation for policy in developing Kauman tourist village. Such a policy model is expected to be able to become the pilot project of the development of the tourist villages not only in Surakarta city but also in other tourist cities in Indonesia in general through the implementation of eco-green tourism on the basis of the concept of green architecture which will not only conserve the tourism, cultural, and environmental assets, but also empower the prevailing local wisdoms.

Abstract

The use of digital media with pornographic video content will result in the disruption of adolescents both physically and mentally. Some conditions can also be experienced by teenagers, including: experiencing a dilemma, namely feeling guilty but feeling addicted, doing imitation (imitation), watching porn videos that encourage teens to imitate sexual acts, disrupted the process of sex education, difficult to concentrate on learning to disrupt their identity , and closed, inferior and not confident. The purpose of this training is to improve media literacy among teenagers. The method used is to adopt action research with 3 stages, planning, action, and fact finding. At the planning stage, the activity begins with identifying the knowledge and experiences of adolescents about the use of gadgets, as well as the experiences of adolescents related to pornographic content. Furthermore, in the action stage, they were given training to improve the correct understanding of the healthy use of media and how to avoid the dangers of pornography. The results of the activity showed that participants' knowledge of the media increased. Participants become aware of the dangers of pornography, they were more confident and empowered to avoid the negative impacts of using smartphones or gadgets. Participants also put forward some suggestions on the topics they are interested in for the next training. At the end of the activity at the fact finding stage, an evaluation is carried out to find out the shortcomings in the activity process.

Abstract

At present the portrait of land use in several cities is dominated by settlements or dwellings. Settlements in tropical climates have the potential to support the environment for thriving plants. Therefore, research that is oriented to optimizing the tropical climate in the settlement sector is very important because in the science of architecture designing buildings is very necessary to consider the harmony of buildings, climate and humans. The culture of Indonesian society from generation to generation is a tradition that needs to get space side by side with the fulfillment of residential needs. Gardening culture is an effort to meet food needs, while living culture is an effort to meet the needs of the board, so that both are primary human needs. The research objective is to study the prospect of the assimilation of the culture of gardening and living through quantitative and qualitative paradigms. The focus of the study determined the relationship between the two variables with statistical analysis through the correlation of people's appreciation of gardening activities with income level, in the statistical test analysis using the chi square method. The results of the quantitative analysis continued with efforts to find reasons for causal relationships through in-depth interviews. The results of the study concluded that there was a correlation between the appreciation of the community and the level of income in supporting the assimilation of the culture of gardening and living in tropical homes. The problem of limited land is the cause of the lack of assimilation of the culture of gardening and living in low-income communities.

Abstract

Green roofs are generally applied to concrete roofed buildings. This study compares the thermal performance of green roofs that occur in corrugated concrete and zinc to expand green roof innovation. The study experimented on a method using the 2011 Ecotect computer simulation. The results showed that the difference in temperature reduction in corrugated zinc was higher than in concrete. Changes in heat outside the roof space on both have a number that has a relatively small difference, but the difference in heat is visible in the inner space. Based on the thermal performance of the roof, the use of corrugated zinc roofs as the base of the green roof in the building could be an alternative green roof material besides concrete.

Abstract

Indonesia has a legally supported digital mandate for reporting foreigners, but data intake in Surakarta’s accommodation sector remains minimal. This article aims to explain this gap by analyzing Aplikasi Pelaporan Orang Asing (APOA) as a digital governance arrangement rather than a fully realized surveillance system. The study uses a qualitative case study based on documentary analysis and secondary institutional data, covering immigration regulations, official APOA procedures, a Surakarta accommodation dataset, and relevant literature on digital governance, technology adoption, and migration control. The empirical snapshot shows a marked decoupling between digital policy and reporting reality: registration rose from 26 of 976 accommodation units on 2 September 2025 to 31 of 976 on 27 November 2025, or 3.18% overall coverage. Hotel coverage reached 8.89%, while non-hotel accommodation coverage remained 0.45%. These figures do not demonstrate causal explanations or comparative patterns across jurisdictions, but they show that APOA’s monitoring capacity is largely unrealized in this case. The article concludes that the central issue is a governance gap between formal control and actual compliance infrastructure: legal authority and platform availability are present, but coordination, reciprocal incentives, organizational follow-up, and trust-building remain insufficiently institutionalized.
