Abstract

This community service activity is an implementation of the tridharma of higher education to provide knowledge to students of SMK Gelora Jaya Nusantara, especially class XI students majoring in network computer engineering (TKJ). The material provided is router configuration and virtual LAN, this material is useful for participants, because it is one of the topics in the competency exam. This service activity starts from the preparation stage carried out by the team and is carried out on June 20, 2023 in the computer laboratory of SMK Gelora Jaya Nusantara. This service activity was carried out in collaboration with the Program Studi D3 Manajemen Informatika dan Komputerisasi Akuntansi with SMK Gelora Jaya Nusantara.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the logic skills of students at SDN 060934 through the application of multimedia-based educational games. By identifying the problems students face in understanding logic concepts, the program is designed to provide an engaging and interactive learning experience. The implementation of activities includes socialization, training, and the use of educational games that have been selected based on student needs. Evaluation results showed a significant improvement in students' logic skills, with the average pre-test score increasing from 65 to 85 in the post-test. In addition, students also reported a more enjoyable learning experience and higher motivation to learn. Although challenges related to technological infrastructure still need to be overcome, this activity proves that educational games can be effectively integrated in the learning process to support the development of critical thinking skills among students. It is recommended that this method be applied more widely in other schools in an effort to improve the quality of education in Indonesia

Abstract

The Batak Karo Protestant Church (GBKP) Runggun Diski faces challenges in managing congregation data effectively and accurately. Since the data collection process is still done manually, there is a possibility of recording errors, data retrieval issues, and delays in disseminating information to the congregation. To address these problems, this research aims to design and develop a mobile-based congregation data management application. This application will enable church administrators to manage congregation data more efficiently and effectively. During the application development process, the Agile-based software development method allows for continuous iteration and improvement. The application is developed using technologies such as Android-based programming with the Kotlin programming language and Firebase for real-time data storage. The main features of this application include new congregation member registration, worship attendance recording, personal data management of congregation members, and notifications about church activities. The results of this application development indicate that the application runs well on mobile devices and meets the requirements of GBKP Runggun Diski for managing congregation data. It is expected that the use of this application will improve the efficiency of congregation data management, reduce recording errors, and facilitate administrators in delivering information to the congregation. Additionally, the application allows the congregation to access related information more easily than they had previously.

Abstract

Universitas Methodist Indonesia (UMI) faces various limitations in handling student complaints, which hinder the effectiveness of problem resolution. This research aims to build a web-based student complaint information system that can accommodate and manage student complaints quickly and efficiently. The observation method is used to observe the ongoing complaint process and interactions between students and the existing complaint system. Implementation of this system begins with the creation of a database designed to store and manage complaint data, user information and other important data. The system backend was developed using PHP to handle business logic, including complaint processing, user management, and interaction with the database. As a result, this system changes the complaint management process from previously manual to more efficient and computerized, so that students can easily submit complaints, monitor status, and view complaint history. This system also allows the campus to respond to complaints more quickly and effectively.

Abstract

Currently the 101935 Batang Terap publick elementary school library, especially for book borrowers, still uses a system that is still very manual, resulting in errors in the circulation of loan books because the data is not well documented. Therefore, we need a database system application that can manage and process library transaction data in an efficient manner precise and efficient. So the authors are interested and willing to research and create this techno project with the topic entitled Web-Based Library Information System at the 101935 Batang Terap Elementary School. make it easier for librarians to process borrowing and returning data and make it easier to input data, process and process data with an application to produce fast and accurate information. The library information system at the 101935 Batang Terap public elementary school was built using the Sublime text and Xampp applications.  The library information system at the 101935 Batang Terap public elementary school was created to be able to provide convenience in the process of borrowing and returning books. With the existence of a library information system at the 101935 Batansg Terap public elementary school, it can assist schools in analyzing and obtaining input material in making decisions.  easy to make a report to the head of the librarian.

Abstract

The Digital Access of stunting services access app is one designed to help build a stunting service center in the resident and family planning terrain service. In addition, to assist ministerial servants in carrying out a filing process. The problem is the computerized process of filing and filing service teams, to prevent stunting service teams from having any difficulty with data-loping, as manuals and archivist data often result in reregisations of the same data that make the data invalid. The goal of the application is to facilitate officers in the process of inquiry, and to assist communities in monitoring stunted child growth. The method used in the study is the waterfall method. The waterfall method is a simple method. It employs a comprehensive and quantifying approach starting at the needs of the system level and heading for the analytical, design, coding, testing or verification and maintenance sequence. The desired result is to facilitate family service in planning information and the ministry and to help build a quick, accurate, stunting service center.

Abstract

This research develops a QR code-based student attendance information system at SD Negeri 105270. This system uses an Android application with a QR code for student attendance, aiming to increase the efficiency and accuracy of recording student attendance and improve the quality of education services. The research method includes application development using Android Studio and QR code integration. The teacher displays the QR code on their cell phone, and students scan the code using the attendance app on their cell phones. The results showed that this system speeds up the attendance process, reduces recording errors, and improves the security of student attendance data. This research provides a reference for other schools to implement a similar system with a QR code. It is hoped that this system can increase the efficiency and accuracy of student attendance as well as the quality of education services in schools.

Abstract

Development of information technology has brought many changes in various The industrial sectors, including the automotive sector. One of the important needs in managing a workshop business is an efficient Point of sales (POS) system to facilitate transaction processes and data management. This research aims to design and implement a web-based Point of sales information system at the Lubuk Pakam Missile Workshop. This system is designed to help manage sales transactions, record spare parts stock, as well as more accurate and integrated financial reporting. This system was built using programming languages such as PHP, HTML, Sublime. With this system, it is hoped that the Lubuk Pakam Missile Workshop can increase operational efficiency, minimize manual recording errors, and speed up the managerial decision making process. The test results show that the system can function well according to user needs, and is able to provide effective solutions in managing workshop operations.

Abstract

Lumban Pea Timur is one of the villages in Balige District, Toba Samosir Regency, North Sumatra Province. Village development is currently inseparable from the support of information technology, almost every village requires information technology to improve services to the community. The process of conveying information by the village to the resident, namely from the sub-district head to the village head reaches the resident. Processes like this often lead to inaccurate information. All existing regional potentials must be disseminated to show their superiority. Each district has an area called a sub-district and village. The rapid development of the world of communication technology has had a tremendous impact on the pattern of people’s lives. Information systems have made people’s lives dynamic and fast. With the facilities provided, encourages people to take advantage of information and communication technology to assist in their daily activities. The village government of Lumban Pea does not yet have a website address. This has resulted in information owned by the village that cannot be accessed by the wider community, causing this village to be very left behind. In this increasingly advanced technological era, a website-based information system can be implemented in East Lumban Pea village to overcome the above constraints. With the existence of a village information system, the community can directly access the various kinds of information presented. Likewise, village leaders can directly provide or update information related to the village they are fostering. All forms of information regarding population management can be accessed on the village information system page.

Abstract

The campus tax volunteer value chain refers to the contributions and benefits provided by active tax volunteers to help in providing tax information and knowledge and also assist in reporting taxpayers' tax returns. Volunteers give guidance to individuals or groups who need assistance in managing their taxes, such as filling out tax returns or understanding tax rights and obligations. Regional Office of DJP Sumbagut I will give awards and recognition to tax volunteers who have contributed significantly to increasing tax awareness in the community.
