Abstract

Public services play an important role in real terms for the community as a form of service to the community. Certain community services can be facilities that support people's lives, such as roads, clean water, and other services. The higher the quality of public services, the better people's lives will be, meaning that there will be no problems that prevent them from carrying out their daily activities. Meanwhile, services are in the form of public services that are really needed by the community, such as health and education services as well as transportation arrangements. The quality of service at the Serdang Bedagai Regency Regent's Office is classified as "B", where there are still several things that are not good, in terms of implementation time, implementation behavior, handling of petitions, complaints, infrastructure by the community.

Abstract

This study examines the LSTM-based model for processing spam in text data. Spam poses several dangers and risks, both for individuals and organizations. Spam can be a nuisance that hampers both individual and organizational productivity. Much spam contains fraudulent or phishing attempts to obtain sensitive information. Spam detection using deep learning involves the utilization of algorithms and deep neural network models to accurately classify messages as either spam or not spam. Typically, spam detection systems use a combination of these methods to improve the accuracy of identifying spam messages. This study applies the Bi-LSTM deep learning model to sequentially process text (sequencing). The performance of the model is determined based on the loss and accuracy. The data used are the Spam SMS and Spam Email datasets. The test results show that the Bi-LSTM model demonstrates better performance on all tested datasets. Bi-LSTM is able to capture textual patterns from both the context and the text itself, as it can combine information from both directions. The test results prove that the Bi-LSTM model is more effective in text comprehension. So we need to use Snort to maintain network security. Snort is a useful software for observing activity in a computer network. Snort can be used as a lightweight Network Intrusion Detection System (NIDS). Detection is carried out based on the rules that have been described by the administrator in the directory rules contained in the configuration file. Snort can analyze real time alerts, where the mechanism for entering alerts can be in the form of a user syslog, file or through a database. So we can detect attacks on computer networks early.

Abstract

Airplane transportation has many advantages compared to other means of transportation, where this means of transportation is able to cover long distances in a short time. Besides having advantages, of course, air transportation often experiences flight delays which can be caused by several things, including delayed flights due to late arrival (Arrival Delay), delays of the airline itself (Carrier Delay), previously late arrivals (Late Aircraft Delay), air traffic congestion (Nas Delay), security issues (Security Delay) and weather conditions (Weather Delay) The tests carried out were 101,315 US flight delay data from 2017 to 2022. By using the Machine Learning method, the results obtained were that the largest flight delays were caused by late arrivals, namely 386,124,672, where the largest flight delays were by airlines. The airline, namely Southwest Airlines, is 61,474,379 of the total airlines, which is 20, and the biggest departure delay is at Chicago O'Hare International airport, which is in the city of Chicago, IL province, which is 20,912,928 of the total airport, which is 596. This research aims to predict future flights by analyzing current flight data, so that future flights can be better by overcoming or avoiding previous flight delay problems

Abstract

This community service activity is an implementation of the tridharma of higher education to provide knowledge to students of SMK Gelora Jaya Nusantara, especially class XI students majoring in network computer engineering (TKJ). The material provided is router configuration and virtual LAN, this material is useful for participants, because it is one of the topics in the competency exam. This service activity starts from the preparation stage carried out by the team and is carried out on June 20, 2023 in the computer laboratory of SMK Gelora Jaya Nusantara. This service activity was carried out in collaboration with the Program Studi D3 Manajemen Informatika dan Komputerisasi Akuntansi with SMK Gelora Jaya Nusantara.

Abstract

Design of a Goods Sales Information System at UD. Web-Based Milala is an effort to increase efficiency and accuracy in the process of selling goods in the company. This system is designed to make it easier to record, monitor and analyze sales in real-time via a web platform. By using web technology, this system provides better accessibility to users from various locations, enabling more effective management and fast decision making. Integration of sales features, stock items and analytical reports became the main focus in designing this system, so that UD. Milala can optimize operations and increase customer satisfaction.

Abstract

Sarfina Sembiring Clinic is located at Jalan Cinta Karya No. 60 B Sari Rejo Village, Medan Polonia District, which operates in the Community Health Center Sector. The problem that occurs is that the cash receipt and financial expenditure data processing system at the Sarfina Sembiring Clinic is currently still carried out using a manual recording system to provide ineffective and inefficient reports. The researcher aims to research and help solve the problems faced by the Sarfina Sembiring Clinic, namely by designing a web-based cash receipt and disbursement system. With the development of this information system, it is hoped that the clinic will have a better financial system as well as providing effective reports and archive structured reports. The information system created is expected to help the Sarfina Sembiring Midwife Clinic in improving health services and organizational performance, as well as in the administration of cash receipts and disbursements.

Abstract

The Arios Jaya Motor showroom sales system currently still uses manual systems and methods, making the sales process take a long time and is inefficient. Currently, online sales systems are widely used in various showrooms, even individual companies such as Live Monza are given the opportunity to run their business. At the "Arios Jaya Motor" motorbike exhibition, there were obstacles in the sales process so that it was difficult to organize information on goods, sales, the media used in sales still used leaflets or brochures which were not evenly distributed and had a wide reach. to reach , and also many social media consumers have difficulty finding the latest information or learning about the latest things. Determining system requirements is carried out through data collection methods using observation, interview and library research techniques. This research will create an information system that allows the "Arios Jaya Motor" showroom to expand sales, units and display first reports and provide services to consumers.

Abstract

SMP Negeri 2 Simpang Empat is a junior high school located on JL. Simpang Empat, Ndokum Siroga, Berastagi, Karo Regency. At the current library of SMP Negeri 2 Simpang Empat, it is still done conventionally, namely data handling is still done by way of copying books, which invites data input, which takes a long time and cannot be opened easily and quickly. Therefore, with the existence of a digital library information system that intends to deal with the problems seen in SMP Negeri 2 Simpang Empat, in paying attention to these problems, a system that can process data in the library is needed. The programming languages ​​used are: PHP and MYSQL Database. The existence of a digital library information system at SMP Negeri 2 Simpang Empat can make it easier for students to find books quickly and easily and save time, save energy, save space, save costs in obtaining information.

Abstract

The Ujung Saribu Village Office is a government agency located in the Pamatang Silimahuta sub-district, Simalungun Regency, North Sumatra Province. In this day and age, the internet has become a necessity that we must fulfill. Through this media, we can get and deliver various data needed anytime and anywhere. Based on observations and interviews, the population data collection system that runs at the Ujung Saribu Village office is still conventional, namely village officials visit people's homes in Ujung Saribu Village to collect data so it takes a long time. The purpose of this research is to assist village officials in the population data collection process and assist the village community in obtaining the required data and information. To produce a village population data collection system that can provide storage and reports quickly and accurately. This website was built using the PHP programming language and MySQL database and tested using black box testing. With the design of the village website, it is hoped that it can assist village officials in entering population data, so that the risk of errors in entering data can be reduced.

Abstract

Development of information technology has brought many changes in various The industrial sectors, including the automotive sector. One of the important needs in managing a workshop business is an efficient Point of sales (POS) system to facilitate transaction processes and data management. This research aims to design and implement a web-based Point of sales information system at the Lubuk Pakam Missile Workshop. This system is designed to help manage sales transactions, record spare parts stock, as well as more accurate and integrated financial reporting. This system was built using programming languages such as PHP, HTML, Sublime. With this system, it is hoped that the Lubuk Pakam Missile Workshop can increase operational efficiency, minimize manual recording errors, and speed up the managerial decision making process. The test results show that the system can function well according to user needs, and is able to provide effective solutions in managing workshop operations.
