Abstract

Eucalyptus is a type of productive plant in the forestry sector which has a fairly important role in the essential oil industry. Farmers of Wonoharjo Village, Kemusu District, Boyolali Regency cultivate eucalyptus plants and process them into eucalyptus oil products independently. Eucalyptus farmers in Wonoharjo Village are members of the Wonolestari 1 and Wonolestari 2 Forest Farmer Groups (KTH) who are still experiencing problems in carrying out a product marketing system, especially in the utilization of communication technology. Therefore, it is necessary to assist farmers in marketing eucalyptus oil products. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide education, assistance and training as an effort to increase the knowledge and skills of eucalyptus farmers in Wonoharjo Village in processing eucalyptus oil to have a high selling value by implementing online-based integrated marketing communications. The method of implementing service activities is carried out by preparing material handbooks, marketing socialization packaged through workshops, training, digital marketing communication practices with the preparatory and execution stages. The socialization activities carried out are able to increase the knowledge of eucalyptus oil farmers regarding digital marketing through several social media such as Instagram, Youtube and E-Commerce applications namely Shopee. Mentoring activities are expected to be able to increase product marketing by reaching consumers widely so that people's incomes also increase.

Abstract

Program IP Padi 400 merupakan program terobosan pemerintah untuk memperkuat ketahanan pangan nasional dengan cara meningkatkan produksi padi. Bantuan sarana produksi pertanian (saprotan) sudah diberikan kepada petani, namun masih terdapat petani yang enggan untuk melaksanakan program ini. Sikap petani pada aspek kognitif perlu diketahui untuk mengetahui kekonsistenan petani pada Program IP Padi 400. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) menganalisis sikap petani pada aspek kognitif terhadap Program IP Padi 400, (2) menganalisis faktor-faktor pembentuk sikap petani pada aspek kognitif terhadap Program IP Padi 400, dan (3) menganalisis pengaruh faktor-faktor pembentuk sikap petani pada aspek kognitif terhadap Program IP Padi 400. Metode dasar yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan teknik survei. Pemilihan lokasi penelitian dilakukan secara purposive yaitu di Kecamatan Ngemplak Kabupaten Boyolali. Pengambilan sampel berjumlah 47 responden dilakukan dengan purposive sampling di dua desa yaitu Desa Ngesrep dan Desa Donohudan. Responden yang dipilih yaitu petani yang mengikuti Program IP Padi 400. Analisis data menggunakan metode analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa petani memiliki sikap yang mendukung terhadap Program IP Padi 400 pada aspek kognitif. Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara pendidikan nonformal (X1), pengalaman pribadi (X2), dukungan pemerintah (Kementerian Pertanian) (X5), dan peran penyuluh pertanian (X6) dengan sikap petani pada Program IP Padi 400. Pengaruh media massa (X3) dan pengaruh orang lain yang dianggap penting (X4) tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan dengan sikap petani pada Program IP Padi 400.

Abstract

The development of rice which is quite well-known in Klaten Regency is the rojolele srinuk rice variety. The rojolele srinuk rice variety has become the identity of Klaten Regency because it has its own characteristics and features a fluffier, savory and fragrant taste compared to other rices. The existence of the rojolele srinuk rice variety can motivate rice farmers in Klaten Regency to cultivate it. The motivation of rice farmers in Klaten Regency can be formed because there are factors that influence it, such as being able to increase income and have the convenience of obtaining seeds of the Rojolele Srinuk variety of rice. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct research on the motivation of farmers in cultivating the rojolele srinuk rice variety in Klaten Regency. This study aims to 1) Assess the motivation level of farmers in cultivating the Rojolele Srinuk variety of rice in Klaten Regency. 2) Knowing the factors forming the motivation of farmers in cultivating Rojolele Srinuk variety rice in Klaten Regency. 3) Analyzing the relationship between the forming factors of motivation and the motivation level of farmers in cultivating the Rojolele Srinuk variety of rice in Klaten Regency.

Abstract

Pertanian yang memegang peran penting dalam perekonomian dan kehidupan tidak lepas dari peran petani sebagai sumber daya manusia. Regenerasi petani penting untuk dilakukan agar terlahir petani dengan usia yang lebih produktif. Kabupaten Sukoharjo melalui program Gerakan Membangun Petani Milenial (Gerbang TAMI) menindaklanjuti kegiatan regenerasi petani. Petani milenial sebagai peserta sekaligus responden dalam penelitian ini memiliki respons yang berpengaruh terhadap program. Respons sendiri dibentuk oleh pendidikan nonformal dan peran pendamping. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pendidikan nonformal dan peran pendamping terhadap program Gerbang TAMI di Kabupaten Sukoharjo. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan proportionate random sampling sebanyak 40 responden. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan pendidikan nonformal dan peran pendamping berpengaruh signifikan terhadap program Gerbang TAMI di Kabupaten Sukoharjo. Secara parsial, pendidikan nonformal tidak berpengaruh nyata, sedangkan peran pendamping berpengaruh nyata terhadap program Gerbang TAMI di Kabupaten Sukoharjo.

Abstract

Pekerjaan petani merupakan menjadi mata pencaharian utama di pedesaan. Mata pencaharian petani didominasi oleh orang tua lebih dari 50 tahun termasuk di Kecamatan Sumberlawang. Mayoritas penduduk Kecamatan Sumberlawang bermata pencaharian sebagai petani sebanyak 14.122 jiwa, angka tersebut paling tinggi dibandingkan mata pencaharian lain. Namun taraf hidup dan luas lahan pertanian tidak terkait dengan minat pemuda desa, oleh sebab itu mereka cenderung bekerja di kota setelah tamat sekolah. Ketidaktertarikan bekerja di desa disebabkan kurangnya minat pada profesi pertanian. Di Sumberlawang memiliki prosentase 18,89% pemuda berusia 15-29 tahun, jumlah yang cukup besar dan dapat bermanfaat bagi keberlangsungan pertanian jika pemuda tersebut tidak pindah ke kota. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang membentuk persepsi kaum muda tentang pekerjaan pertanian dan persepsi kaum muda tentangnya. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah pemuda berusia 15 hingga 29 tahun. Sampel sebanyak 98 pemuda diambil dengan menggunakan metode proporsional random sampling. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pengAnalisis data menggunakan  software program IBM SPSS Statistics 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor-faktor berikut mempengaruhi persepsi kaum muda tentang pekerjaan pertanian: pendidikan formal, pendidikan non formal, pengalaman pribadi, akses informasi, dan kosmopolitan. Persepsi pemuda baik tentang pendapatan, sedangkan persepsi tentang pensiun netral, persepsi tidak baik, terutama kebanggaan petani, pengembangan karir, persepsi buruk terhadap pertanian.

Abstract

Jinawi Farm Hidroponik is one of the businesses that develops hydroponic agricultural products into healthy food preparations in the form of vegetable salads. Of course, a marketing communication activity is needed in developing its business, one of which is through Instagram social media (@jinawigreens). The effectiveness of the Instagram account @jinawigreens as a digital marketing communication medium, can be influenced by the characteristics of the messages conveyed in it. Therefore, it is necessary to measure the effectiveness of Instagram, as well as the effect of message characteristics on its effectiveness. The EPIC Model is used as a measuring tool for effectiveness in this study. The model measures effectiveness by using a communication approach through four critical dimensions, namely empathy, persuasion, impact, and communication. This study aims to 1) analyze the characteristics of social media messages on Instagram @jinawigreens. 2) Analyzing the effectiveness of Instagram @jinawigreens social media based on the EPIC Model. 3) Analyzing the influence of the characteristics of social media messages Instagram @jinawigreens on the effectiveness of Instagram as a digital marketing communication medium for Jinawi Farm Hydroponics based on the EPIC Model.

Abstract

The use of WhatsApp group feature is used by hydroponic farmers as a medium of information and discussion and encourages farmers to follow the development of agricultural information actively. The existence of WhatsApp groups has an impact on farmers in the form of behavior changes that are reviewed by cognitive, affective, and psychomotor components. This study aims to determine the behavior of hydroponic farmers in using WhatsApp groups, analyze supporting factors for changes in hydroponic farmer behavior consisting of digital literacy and intensity of media use and analyze the influence of digital literacy and intensity of media use on hydroponic farmer behavior. This study used a descriptive quantitative approach and sampling techniques using simple random sampling. The sample used was 67 members of the Soloraya Hydroponic Community WhatsApp group, and the analysis method used multiple linear regression. The results showed that the behavior of hydroponic community members which includes cognitive, affective, and psychomotor components was in the high category of 55%. Supporting factors in the form of digital literacy are in the high category, while the intensity of social media use is in the low category. Digital literacy and the intensity of social media use together have a positive and significant influence on the behavior of members of the Hydroponics Community. Partially, digital literacy has an effect on the behavior of community members, while the intensity of social media use does not have a significant effect on the behavior of community members.

Abstract

IP400 program is one of the efforts to increase national rice production. Farmer participation is an indicator of the success of the IP400 program. This study aims to describe the socio-economic characteristics of farmers, determine the level of farmer participation, and analyze the relationship between the socio-economic characteristics of farmers and the level of farmer participation. The method used is a descriptive quantitative data analysis method in the form of rank spearman. The results showed that the majority of respondents were of productive age, had junior high school education, attended 5-6 counseling sessions and 3-4 training sessions a year, cultivated 3,001-4,500 m² of land, worked as farmers for 16-25 years and implemented IP400 1-2 years, an average income of IDR 5,000,000,00 per planting season, the role of extension agents as motivators, educators, and dynamists is very high, while the role of extension workers as facilitators is quite high; the level of participation is categorized as high at all three stages; there is a significant relationship between the socio-economic characteristics of farmers and the level of farmer participation, except for the formal educationf and land area.
