Abstract

Cipta Karya Road in Pekanbaru City has a 2-lane, 2-way undivided road type with a length of about 3.3 kilometers and a lane width of about 5  meters. This road connects Jalan Bersama with  Jalan HR. Soebrantas and is located in Tampan District. Based on observations, the surface of Cipta Karya Road in Simpang Baru Village has experienced a lot of damage due to weather, vehicle loads, and other factors.  The damage is  in  the  form of  patches, holes,  cracks,  and collapses so that an investigation and assessment of the damage is needed. Factors causing damage include old road age, poor asphalt quality, air flow, and excessive load. The study aims to determine the type of damage and the value of road conditions to determine how to repair it. One assessment using the PCI system shows that there are 7 types of damage and a PCI value of 31 which is included in the bad category. The recommendation is that the government must immediately make repairs.

Abstract

Suatu Gedung harus dipertimbangkan keandalan sistem proteksi kebakaran sesuai dengan Peraturan Menteri Pekerjaan Umum Nomor 26 Tahun 2008. Gedung Integrated Laboratory (IL) Universitas Riau merupakan bangunan pendidikan dengan fasilitas penelitian yang lengkap yang bertujuan untuk tempat praktik sains dan penelitian tangkat tinggi. Oleh karna itu pentingnya menerapkan sistem proteksi kebakaran yang andal untuk melindungi penghuni dan peralatan sensitifnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mengetahui tingkat keandalan Gedung Integrated Laboratory (IL), sehingga saat Gedung beroperasi tingkat resiko terjadinya kebakaran dapat diminimalisir. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Checklist. Metode checklist dilakukan dengan cara membandingkan sistem yang terpasang pada Gedung Integrated Laboratory dengan ketentuan Peraturan Menteri Pekerjaan Umum Nomor 26 tahun 2008 dan Puslitbang Pemukiman Departemen Pekerjaan Umum (PD-T-11-2005-C). Hasil yang didapatkan dari metode checklist tersebut berupa nilai pembobotan dimana nilai yang diperoleh tersebut memiliki tingkatan masing-masing keandalan gedung. Tingkat keandalan Gedung memiliki rentang nilai yaitu jika ?60% maka dinyatakan kurang, jika >60% dan ?80% maka dinyatakan cukup, dan jika >80% hingga ?100% dinyatakan andal. Nilai keandalan Gedung Integrated Laboratory dengan metode Checklist didapatkan nilai yaitu kelengkapan tapak dengan 4 indikator sudah terpenuhi 100% dengan bobot yang didapat 25%, jalan lingkungan dengan 2 indikator sudah terpenuhi 100% dengan bobot yang didapat 22,4%, sistem proteksi pasif dengan 3 indikator sudah terpenuhi 90% dengan bobot yang didapat 23,50% dan sistem proteksi aktif dengan 10 indikator sudah terpenuhi 93,75% dengan bobot yang didapat 18,93%. Sehingga dari hasil keseluruhan bobot yang didapatkan sebesar 89,83% dan dari nilai tersebut sudah termasuk dalam rentang "Andal".

Abstract

Road construction requires heavy equipment in its work, one of them is road layer. Heavy equipments which currently use is dump truck, excavator, motor greder, water tank truck, tandem roller and wheel loader. The number of heavy equipment to itemized work selected heap, Class B aggregate and A class aggregate are 1 unit excavator, 1 unit wheel loader, 15 unit dump trucks, 1 unit grader motor, 2 unit tandem rollers, 1 unit water tank, selected heap work which use the provisions of the owner is 9 days and the contractor 11 days, class B aggregate work using the provisions of the owner are 7 days and 9 days contractor, A class aggregate work using the provisions of the owner are 5 days and 7 days contractor. The differences in the cost of heavy equipment is Rp.121.650.532 or higher by using contractor's heavy equipment. To determine the heavy equipment with a more efficient cost with a saving percentage of 12.93% then, the contractor must meet the provisions made by the owner with the economical life tool, the condition of the machine and eligible labor.Keywords : Cost analysis, heavy equipment, productivity, road layer

Abstract

Crossroad is an intersection of two or more roads that joins or crosses each other and often run into traffic conflicts. The intersection of Cempaka Road – Teratai Road is one of a intersection without traffic signs. Traffic conflicts, such as traffic jams during the peak hour, have happened frequently in this intersection. This study’s objective is to calculate the performance of this intersection based on Indonesian Highway Capacity Manual (Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia, MKJI) 1997. The study took three days to finish; Saturday (28/10/2017), Sunday (29/10/2017), until Monday (30/10/2017), with observation hours happening during morning (07.00-09.00 WIB), noon (11.00-14.00 WIB) and afternoon (16.00-19.00 WIB). Based on the conducted surveys and traffic calculation, traffic peak hours happen on Monday from 16.45 to 17.45 WIB with the value of Q = 2984,5 smp/hr, C = 3170 smp/hr, Ds = 0,94, DTI = 12,70 s/smp, DTMA = 9,08 s/smp, DTMI = 19,91 s/smp, DG = 4,02 s/smp, D = 16,72 s/smp, and QP = 36 - 70%.. Due to the calculated Ds having a value higher than the value stated by MKJI which is 0,75, a planning and regulation needs to be done for the intersection of Cempaka Road – Teratai Road. In order to make the value of Ds for this intersection lower than 0,75, a lane (B) prohibiton and a widening of the major lanes from 7,7 m and 7,6 m into 9,7 m and 9,6 m respectively were done and then the Ds value for Cempaka Road – Teratai Road intersection finally reaches the intended target with the value being 0,69.Keywords: Intersection without traffic sings, traffic flow, capasity, degree of saturation

Abstract

Traffic problems that often happens in Pekanbaru is congestion, which are population growth and vihicles are not supported with traffic and infrastructure developments. Factor that cause this congestions is effect of side barriers that can reduce capacity of the roads Side obstacle factors are: pedestrians, vehicle stop / parking on the road, vehicle exit / entry road and slow vehicle. The study was conducted in three market locations by taking direct data of field, for traffic volume, side barrier and vehicle speed then analyzed by using Manual of Capacity of Road Indonesia (MKJI) 1997.Research result showed that traffic volume of Tuanku Tambusai street in front of Cik Puan market on east is 3092 smp/hour with a capacity of 3871 smp/hour, degree of saturation 0.80 and on west, traffic volume is 3034 smp/hour, with a capacity of 3871 smp/hour, degree of saturation is 0.78. H.R Subrantas street in front of Pasar Pagi Panam on east is 2250 smp/hour, with a capacity of 2915 smp/hour, degree of saturation is 0.77 and on west, traffic volume is 2275 smp/hour, with a capacity of 2915 smp/hour, degree of saturation 0.78 and Durian street in front of Palapa market, the traffic volume is 1929 smp/hour, with a capacity of 2581 smp/hour, degree of saturation is 0.75. Based on the result of contribution analysis of side barrier at the three research sites, that the most effective way is doing by omitting the sides obstale factor of vehicle out into the side of the road and side obstale factor vehicle parking/stop at the road body and vehicles in and out in the side of the road.Keywords: Side Barriers, Volume, Capacity, Market activity, Degree of Saturation .

Abstract

Generasi muda adalah komponen penting yang perlu dilibatkan dalam pembangunan sebuah bangsa. Keterlibatan pemuda di Indonesia dapat dibuktikan dengan terlibatnya pemuda dalam memperjuangkan kemerdekaan Indonesia. Deklarasi sumpah pemuda merupakan salah satu bukti bahwa pemuda berperan penting dalam memperjuangkan kemerdekaan negara Indonesia. Untuk membangun bangsa, generasi muda hendaknya mengutamakan prinsip kemandirian. Pemuda harus dapat berdiri diatas kaki sendiri, sehingga dapat menjadi sumber daya manusia yang unggul. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk melakukan optimalisasi terhadap peran pemuda di Komplek Perumahan Griya Bina Widya UNRI Pekanbaru dalam meningkatkan rasa kemandirian. Bentuk kegiatan adalah berupa pendampingan dan pengadaan kegiatan seperti kegiatan turnamen bola volley untuk putra dan putri antar klub non porda se Riau. Hasil dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah terbentuknya kelompok pemuda yang bergerak dalam peningkatan kemandirian melalui bidang olahraga. Semangat kemandirian yang tumbuh dapat meningkatkan rasa percaya diri, tidak mudah dipengaruhi orang lain dan berani mengatakan sesuatu yang benar.

Abstract

Rumah Lontiok is a traditional Malay house in Kampar Regency. One of the Rumah Lontioks that exists as residences and tourist attractions is the Rumah Lontiok in Kampung Pulau Belimbing which is a hundred years old. However, currently, there is damage in the spatial layout of the Rumah Lontiok area which is characterized by not placing the building according to its original condition. This will eliminate the value of the cultural significance of the Rumah Lontiok area. The purpose of this writing is to obtain a conservation plan for the arrangement of the Rumah Lontiok area. The method used is qualitative descriptive. The author conducted an interview, excavated historical information, and observed the state of the Rumah Lontiok area. The results obtained are the concept of adaptive use in area conservation by restoring buildings to their original state and adding tourist facilities to support cultural tourism activities in the Rumah Loniok area.

Abstract

Universitas Riau merupakan salah satu universitas negeri yang berada di Kota Pekanbaru, untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan agar dapat mengembangkan kualitas sumber daya manusia Univeristas Riau melakukan kerja sama dengan Asian Development Bank (ADB) untuk membangun sarana dan prasarana di Universitas Riau salah satu gedung yang dibangun merupakan gedung kuliah terpadu. Pekerjaan ini dilakukan di dalam kampus Universitas Riau, Kampus Bina Widya KM.12,5 Simpang Baru. Pekerjaan pembangunan gedung kuliah terpadu Universitas Riau mempekerjakan lebih dari 100 dan juga memakai alat berat pekerjaan ini berada di dalam lingkungan kampus dimana banyak civitas dan mahasiswa beraktivitas sehingga penting untuk menerapkan SMKK. Agar terwujudnya lingkungan kerja yang aman dan nyaman sehingga terwujudnya zero accident. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Metode wawancara dan survei lapangan yang dilakukan kepada health safety environment, didapatkan hasil audit SMKK memenuhi dengan Peraturan Menteri PUPR Nomor 10 Tahun 2021. Biaya penerapan SMKK yang didapatkan dari RKK sebesar Rp.804.293.892,002 atau 1,27 % dari total keseluruhan nilai proyek.

Abstract

Jalan Garuda Sakti is a provincial road that connects Pekanbaru City and Kampar Regency and serves as the boundary between inner-city and outer-city road segments. Road buildings and traffic equipment facilities are essential components in supporting road functionality, safety, and user comfort. This study aims to inventory the availability and identify the needs of road buildings and equipment facilities along both segments. A quantitative approach was employed through field surveys. The results indicate that no road buildings were available on either inner-city or outer-city segments. Of the nine types of road equipment facilities assessed, the inner-city segment was equipped with only two types, namely traffic signs and street lighting, while the outer-city segment had only traffic signs. The analysis of facility requirements shows that the inner-city segment requires roadside drainage channels, 17 street lighting units, 32 traffic signs, and two types of road markings. Meanwhile, the outer-city segment requires roadside drainage channels, 33 street lighting units, 28 traffic signs, and two types of road markings. Overall, the findings reveal that road buildings and equipment facilities are still inadequate in both segments, particularly in the outer-city area, highlighting the need for accelerated infrastructure development to improve traffic safety, comfort, and  mobility.

Abstract

This study analyzes the productivity of heavy equipment used in embankment and granular pavement works on Jalan Kampus Universitas Riau. The efficiency of heavy equipment utilization plays an important role in determining project duration and operational costs in road construction. This research compares two alternatives of heavy equipment usage: the configuration applied by the project contractor and an alternative proposed by the author. The methodology includes field observations, primary and secondary data collection, and quantitative analysis of equipment productivity, work duration, and operational costs. The results show that the productivity of field equipment includes an Excavator CAT 320 GX of 90.888 m³/hour, Dump Truck Mitsubishi FE SHD 136PS of 2.452 m³/hour, Motor Grader CAT 120 of 554.850 m²/hour, Vibratory Roller SAKAI SV526 of 255.15 m²/hour, Water Tank Truck Mitsubishi Colt Diesel FE 74 HD of 97.2 m³/hour, and Bulldozer CAT D4C of 37.583 m³/hour. The total project duration is 65 working days with an operational cost of Rp2,898,885.96 per hour. Comparative analysis indicates that the alternative equipment configuration offers better time and cost efficiency, making it suitable as a reference for similar projects.
