Abstract

Communication with a wireless system is one of the mainstay communications so that communication integration is achieved. For this reason, Malikussaleh University provides a wifi network on each campus, one of which is the Bukit Indah campus. So that the achievement of wifi access points on mobile devices needs to be improved so that it is achieved properly. Therefore it is necessary to optimize the placement of access points on the Malikussaleh University wifi network. Modeling an omnidirectional antenna that has a range of 360 ° is one solution. The method applied is to design and build an omnidirectional antenna on the Bukit Indah Campus of Malikussaleh University. Based on simulations on Mobile Radio, the largest network pathloss is 116.2 dB and the smallest is 102.0 dB. The results of omidirectional antenna testing conducted 5 times obtained the largest download speed worth 3.18 Mbps with 314ms ping at a distance of 30 meters and the smallest download speed worth 0.55Mbps with 195ms ping at a distance of 150 meters. The farther the distance of the antenna the lower the ping and packet loss, from the test results obtained an average ping of 267.8ms and the largest packet loss percentage of 0.4%. The ideal distance for this antenna is 30 to 110 meters and can even get a longer distance provided there are no obstacles. With this distance it is ideal for an assembled antenna with makeshift materials that we often encounter in everyday life.

Abstract

Gold is a significant investment asset, particularly in times of economic instability. Various factors, including decisions by financial authorities, inflation, and global economic dynamics, influence the fluctuations in gold prices. Accurately predicting gold prices is valuable for investors when making investment decisions. This study aims to utilize the Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) algorithm for predicting gold prices and develop a web-based application connected to Yahoo Finance to acquire real-time gold price data. The LSTM algorithm was chosen because it handles time series data with long-term dependencies. LSTM has an architecture that allows the model to retain relevant information over long periods and forget irrelevant data. In this study, the developed LSTM model produced a Mean Absolute Error (MAE) of 19.81, indicating that the average prediction deviates by approximately 19.81 units from the actual value. Furthermore, an average Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) of 0.83% demonstrates the high prediction accuracy. The results of this study show that LSTM is an effective method for predicting gold prices. The resulting web application allows users to access gold price projections interactively, thereby assisting investors in making more accurate and data-driven decisions with easy access. Additionally, the web application offers customizable features such as adjusting prediction parameters and visualizing results in real time.  These features not only enhance user engagement but also improve decision-making processes. This research provides a practical tool for optimizing investment strategies in a dynamic economic environment by leveraging machine learning and seamless web integration.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a geographic information system (GIS) capable of tracking the IP address of a domain and visualizing it in the form of an interactive map. In the context of computer networks, IP geolocation is an important aspect in detecting user location for various purposes such as service personalization, network performance improvement through Content Delivery Network (CDN), and compliance with certain regional laws. The system built utilizes the Sequential Search algorithm to facilitate the search for data such as food prices from various markets. The tracking process starts from converting the domain into an IP address, followed by a traceroute to determine the path (hops) through which the data packet travels, and finally mapping the results visually using GIS. The results show that the system is able to identify public, private, and inactive IPs, as well as display data communication routes with marked points on the map. This visualization helps users in analyzing the network, detecting potential disruptions, and making it easier to understand the flow of data traffic. The system is also relevant for use in network monitoring, suspicious activity tracking, and education about internet infrastructure.
