Abstract

Physical fitness is one of the important factors for a basketball player. Because basketball is a sport that has a lot of physical contact with other players. Therefore, basketball athletes are required to have a good level of physical fitness. In this study, we will research the physical workout application for basketball players where this application is made using the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Waterfall method and backtracking algorithm. This research method consists of 5 stages, such as requirements analysis stage where we collect materials that need to be used, designing stage where the project will be designed, Implementation stage where the project will be developed, testing stage where the project will be tested, and deployment stage where the project will be distributed. Due to this pandemic condition, several countries have limited their activities outside the house because of that many people do most of their activities inside their house. This results in them not being able to go to the gym or other places to work out. So, with this research, they can do workout without having to leave the house.

Abstract

The culinary business is a promising business today because food and beverages are basic needs. This can be seen from the number of cafes or restaurants in Batam City. Along with the rapid growth of the culinary business, the variety of food is becoming increasingly diverse, thus making it increasingly difficult for consumers to choose and determine the right food, both based on taste and ease of access. Therefore, it is necessary to need a system that can provide the user with the best and most suitable food or restaurant recommendations. This study designs and builds a recommendation system using K-Nearest Neighbors which functions to recommend restaurants with the closest distance, while Content-Based Filtering functions to recommend foods according to user preferences. The system is built in the form of a mobile-based application so that users can access and get more relevant recommendations. The results of the implementation of the system that was built got a pretty good response from users, where users gave a satisfaction level of 79.2% on restaurant recommendations and also 71.2% on food recommendations.

Abstract

Informasi merupakan salah satu aspek penting yang tidak lepas dari kehidupan manusia, terutama bagi kalangan manula, yang membutuhkan informasi berbagai aktivitas yang dapat dilakukan dalam mengisi waktu pensiunnya dengan lebih berkualitas. Dengan pendekatan teknologi berbasis web ini, maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyediakan sebuah platform yang mudah diakses bagi manula untuk mendapatkan informasi yang terkait, bisa berupa artikel kesehatan baik dalam tulisan dan video, dan daftar kegiatan sosial manula yang dapat diikuti. Web ini dirancang dengan menggunakan Bahasa pemrograman PHP dan menggunakan metode UX dengan mengikuti pedoman Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) yang menghasilkan tampilan mudah digunakan untuk para manula.

Abstract

Production scheduling in manufacturing companies is one of the important components in the survival of the company. Potential errors caused by manual production scheduling can have a negative impact in the form of material, time, and financial losses. To provide a solution to this problem, a heuristic search approach is used, a search based on the rules used to find a solution. The heuristic search method used is a genetic algorithm. This research will design and develop a system that aims to overcome the problems caused by manual scheduling by implementing genetic algorithms. The parameters used in the scheduling are the crossover probability value, the mutation probability value, the maximum number of generations, and the maximum number of errors. This research was conducted with a case study of PT. XYZ, which is engaged in manufacturing packaging products from paper, still uses manual scheduling by sorting jobs with the closest due date. With 36 job operations and 10 machines, the best results were obtained, namely the total time for the completion of the work was 22 working days with the program execution time being 4.75357099983215 seconds. These results are obtained with a crossover probability parameter of 0.8, a mutation probability of 0.7, a maximum number of 500 generations, and a maximum number of errors of 10.

Abstract

Technology development has been rapidly growing, which has been affecting on traditional education system. Starting on March 2020, government decided to assign all education system to be done in online in order to prevent the spread of covid-19 virus. As an attempt to enforce this online learning system, author builds an education game that grant students to improve their knowledge in primary grade mathematics. Through this game, students will be encountering a set of arithmetic operations in mathematics up to 3rd grade level. This game will be build in Unity and C# programming language by using SDLC Waterfall method.

Abstract

Work efficiency and effectivity are important matters in production process of manufacturing industry. Hence, manufacturing company adopt manufacturing information system to enhance both. Basic process in manufacturing industry are raw material purchase, production, packaging, up to selling. In packaging process, most Indonesia’s manufacturing company often use pallet for final packing process. To manage a big company, it requires manufacturing information system which can support manufacturing process in order to give the top management full focus on expansion and evaluation. Technology growth accelerate information system development for manufacturing industry. Starting from basic elements such as communicating through e-mails, worker’s attendance, constructing marketing strategy using data mining, up to big data utilization in analyzing weather statistic before raw material delivery carried out. The technology development has been significantly affecting industry growth. In addition, evolution of programming language also smooth the way for manufacture information system design and development. From various web programming language, for instance JavaScript, Java, Swift, including Ruby, one of them that is frequently used is PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor). There’s a great number of user and documentation in regard to this programming language assist users progress in information system development. More often than not in designing or development of an information system, prototyping method are used. Where the method goes from analyzing requirement, quick design, building prototype, ends with evaluation and improvement. Therefore, to enhance work effieciency and effectivity in manufacturing industry predominantly in palletizing process, Author design and develop a PHP web based information system using prototyping method.

Abstract

Good project management is a crucial factor for the smooth implementation of projects in an application development organization. Management activities carried out manually have the potential to result in errors in data processing, and it is difficult to monitor project progress, which often results in time and financial losses. This research was conducted to overcome this problem by building a project management system based on the Scrum method using the Laravel framework and applying a multiple linear regression algorithm in estimating time for each project activity with parameters of the number of people involved and the type of work, as well as competency mapping on the recommendations in the human resource allocations. The Scrum method is used because of its flexibility and fast adaptability to the system development process. The result of this research is a software development project management system that helps organizations in allocating human resources and time management. The resulting multiple linear regression model obtains a Mean Absolute Error (MAE) of 349.97. Descriptive analysis conducted on user responses stated that user responses were positive towards the use of the project management system.

Abstract

Happy Stationery is a Stationery Store which located in Komplek Tanjung Pantun, Batam. The Company has inventory issue, because they record the product information with paper-based and unstructured excel. Warehouse Management System is a management job that is to organize warehousing problems. In this research, data collection was done by authors by in the form of interviews and observations. And we use SDLC as Development Methodologies. The result of this research was Web Based system which can fullfill the user requirement. this research shows that the implementation of warehouse management system has improved the inventory management process in the store

Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan dalam pencatatan akuntansi pada UMKM Aritas Homesewing dimana permasalahan utamanya adalah tidak tersedianya obyek pendukung yang mampu menghasilkan pencatatan kuangan yang rapi. Kerja praktik ini dilakukan mengikuti alur SDLC dimulai dengan merumuskan masalah, menganalisa kebutuhan, merancang desain, mengembangkan proyek, menguji proyek, hingga akhirnya melakukan implementasi. Dasar dari sistem akuntansi ini berasal dari partner jurusan Akuntansi. Luaran yang ingin dicapai adalah laporan serta informasi keuangan. Hasil yang dituju adalah merancang dan mengembangkan sebuah sistem akuntansi yang user friendly dan sesuai dengan fungsinya. Sistem ini bertujuan untuk menunjang pengambilan keputusan pemilik usaha dalam rangka mengembangkan usahanya. This activity’s purpose is to solve accounting records problem in Aritas Homesewing SMEs where the main problem is absence of supporting object that is able to generate a neat financial record. Practical work activity was conveyed following SDLC flow starting with acquiring issues, resolving the requirement, mapping out design, developing project, testing the project, up to implementation. The groundwork of this accounting system originated from my partner who is majoring in Accounting. Output to be achieved is reports and financial information. The aimed result is to design and develop an accounting system that is user friendly and according to its function. Abstract

In the current era, the development of information technology is growing rapidly, a lot of information that we can access through the digital world based on the website. One example of the impact of technological developments is that companies are starting to make company profiles. The purpose of this research is to create a company profile for Hassani Can Packaging as a tool and media to be able to reach more and wider areas as well as a means to overcome difficulties in finding new customers. In this study, the waterfall method will be used to design the company profile website, where the website has a homepage, about us, products, career, and contact us.
