Abstract

Abstrak Keberadaan doti/santet menggunakan ilmu magis di sebuah daerah tidak terlepas dari latar belakang masalah sosial, psikis dan ekonomi dan budaya serta kepercayaan yang saling berkaitan. Kepercayaan terhadap doti merupakan warisan turun-temurun dari leluhur untuk melanjutkan doti tersebut dengan dalih sebagai jimat/pelindung diri. Pada beberapa kesempatan, doti dapat digunakan untuk menyerang ataupun mengobati individu dari serangan doti. Penelitian ini memberikan jawaban bagaimana kesehatan mental dan gambaran subjective well being pelaku ilmu magis “tukang obat doti” di Halmahera Utara. Metode kualitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini guna menggali data di enam partisipan yang berasal dari dua Desa yang ada di Halmahera Utara dimana partisipan tersebut merupakan para “tukang obat doti”. Hasil dari penelitian ini didapatkan tiga tema besar yaitu motif dan praktik doti pada lintas generasi, serta doti sebagai media peningkatan kesehatan mental, pemaknaan diri dan kebahagiaan : hidup di lingkungan praktik doti. Pelaku ilmu magis “tukang obat doti” mempunyai kesehatan mental yang bisa dikatakan baik walaupun ada beberapa tekanan pada kehidupan pelaku doti. Mereka mempunyai cara untuk bisa mengatasi perasaan negatif yang dapat mengganggu kesehatan mental, cara pelaku doti dalam menjaga kestabilan mental yaitu dengan menggunakan ilmu magisnya untuk membantu orang lain yang terkena doti.

Abstract

Anxiety is a psychological problem that has many types and can affect everyone from children to teenagers and parents. Prolonged anxiety will cause interference that will affect growth and development, both in normal children and children with special needs such as mental retardation. Mental retardation is someone who has limited intellectual functioning, intelligence functions, limitations in socializing and limited adaptive abilities that cause disrupting effects of the process of cognitive, psychomotor development and experience immature emotions which results in children being irritable, depressed, unable to hold back and experiencing anxiety excessive. The aim of this study was to obtain data related to the percentage of anxiety symptoms in girls and boys with mental retardation. This study uses a quantitative method with a descriptive approach and respondents in this study are students who experience mental retardation at the Bina Putra Special School. Data collection techniques used a measuring device based on the Glasgow Anxiety Scale by Midham J. and Espie, C. which has been adapted into Indonesian. The results of this study showed that 19 male students with mental retardation were identified 14 students had anxiety disorders and 18 female students with mental retardation were identified 16 students had anxiety disorders. This can be caused by several factors, including: problems in the family, the school environment, both stressors from school activities, teachers and schoolmates.

Abstract

The increasing number of older people in Indonesia impacts the care process. Culturally, the eldest in Indonesia are cared for by other family members. On the other hand, several older people live in nursing homes during their old age. While in the nursing home, the eldest are cared for by health workers or nursing home administrators physically, psychologically, and spiritually to maintain or improve their quality of life. However, the elderly living in three retirement homes in Salatiga City are at risk of non-communicable diseases such as hypertension (70%) and high cholesterol (23%), loneliness, and sleeplessness (41%). The purpose of the community service is to provide group activities therapy to older people living in nursing homes. The activities included cognitive exercises (drawing, writing) and psychomotor (brain gymnastics and song movements). The service results showed that the eldest expression was happy and eager to follow the activities. The involvement of students also reduces the loneliness of the eldest, who have not received visits from their families for a long time. Group therapy activities can train cognitive and psychomotor skills and reduce feelings of loneliness in the elderly.

Abstract

This research analyzes the utilization of the Kahoot application as a learning media for Informatics in 10th-grade students at SMA Kristen 1 Salatiga. The research method employed is a quantitative approach with a single experimental group as respondents, involving 60 students. In the implementation of the Kahoot application in the learning process, Kahoot is integrated into the Informatics curriculum as an additional learning media. The results of the research indicate a significant improvement in learning achievement after using Kahoot. The students also responded positively to the utilization of Kahoot as a learning media. They perceived Kahoot as a fun and effective method to enhance learning motivation and active engagement in the Informatics learning process. This research also demonstrates that Kahoot can be an effective tool to improve student learning achievement and engagement in Informatics, as evidenced by the analysis using SPSS. In the context of SMA Kristen 1 Salatiga, Kahoot provides positive benefits for the learning process and serves as a valuable resource for both teachers and students. Abstract

Keluarga merupakan institusi pertama bagi anak, peran dan pola asuh orang tua sangat menentukan perkembangan kepribadian anak terutama pada perkembangan psikososial anak sekolah dasar usia 6 sampai 11 tahun. Perkembangan psikososial anak usia 6-11 tahun adalah pada tahap industry vs inferiority artinya anak sedang berada pada tahap menyelesaikan tugas sekolah yang diberikan, anak menjadi kompetitif dan senang berada dalam kelompok dan berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan kelompok. Jika seorang anak tidak mampu melewati tahap perkembangan industry vs inferiority maka terjadilah penyimpangan perilaku dan anak menjadi rendah diri. Berdasarkan uraian diatas, terlihat betapa pentingnya model pola asuh yang dipakai orang tua terhadap perkembangan psikososial anak usia 6 - 11 tahun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis hubungan pola asuh orang tua dengan tugas perkembangan psikososial pada anak SD usia 6 hingga 11 tahun. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif  korelasi, pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik cluster random sampling, dengan instrument penelitian menggunakan kuisioner Pola Asuh Orang Tua. Data dianalisa hubungannya dengan menggunakan uji chi square atau kai kuadrat. Jumlah responden sebanyak 96 siswa dari kelas III sampai VI. Hasil yang didapatkan, p-value sebesar 0.000 (< 0.05 nilai taraf signifikansi). Data ini menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pola asuh orang tua dengan perkembangan psikososial anak sekolah dasar (SD) usia 6-11 tahun di Salatiga. Kesimpulan: Perkembangan psikososial anak dipengaruhi oleh pola asuh. Oleh karena itu, orang tua perlu memahami jenis pola asuh yang paling sesuai untuk perkembangan psikososial anak saat ini.

Abstract

Depression is a mental disorder that is common in the world. Depression can cause difficulty concentrating, affecting once social functioning, and adjusting difficulty, and can even lead to suicidal behavior for individuals who have severe depression. Adolescence is a period of development, and during this period, adolescents often experience a period of identity and ambiguous crisis. This crisis identity causes adolescents to become unstable, aggressive, the conflict between attitudes and behavior, emotional and sensitive shakiness, too fast, and rash to take extreme actions. The purpose of this study was to identify depressive symptoms in adolescents in high school. Quantitative research with this survey approach involves students from SMA NEGRI 1 SALATIGA who were chosen randomly (random sampling). Determination of sample size using the Slovin formula with an error tolerance of 0.05. A total of 175 participants consisted of grades 10 and 11, consisting of 75 male students and 100 female students. The results of the study showed that 24% of male students were identified with symptoms of depression while females, there were as many as 40% identified as depressive symptoms. The limitation of this study is that it only uses one variable, showing the percentage of depressive symptoms in early adolescents.

Abstract

Cyberbullying is a form of bullying that commonly affects adolescents. One of the psychological impacts experienced by victims of cyberbullying includes depression, anxiety, and stress. This study aimed to examine the relationship between cyberbullying and levels of depression, anxiety, and stress (DAS) among adolescents in Salatiga City. A quantitative method with a descriptive correlational approach was used. Data were collected using two stages of questionnaires: the first was the Olweus Bully/Victim Questionnaire-Revised Version (OBVQ-R) to assess exposure to cyberbullying, and the second was the Depression, Anxiety, Stress Scale 42 (DASS-42) to measure psychological symptoms. A total of 151 adolescents participated in the study, conducted from January 17–29, 2024. Statistical analysis using the Chi-Square test showed significant relationships between cyberbullying and depression (p = 0.000), anxiety (p = 0.001), and stress (p = 0.000). Conclusion: Cyberbullying is associated with varying levels of depression, anxiety, and stress in victims. Due to its persistent and hard-to-avoid nature, it causes significant emotional distress among affected adolescents.
