Abstract

Abstract : The success of a project can be said to be successful if the cost, time, and quality has been achieved. If one of them is not met, the project has not fully been successful. That requires a reliable project manager, who knows what his duties as a project leader and has the necessary competency requirements. This study aims to identify the dominant factors of competence implementation project manager on the construction project of the river in Aceh and Irrigation Department to analyze form and effect relationship between competence factors to the success of a project manager on a construction project river Irrigation Office Aceh. This research was conducted through a survey questionnaire distributed to the contractor who has been handling the construction project on the river Irrigation Department Aceh starting from the year 2014 to 2015. The results showed that the dominant factor in the application of the competence of the project manager on the construction project of the river in Aceh Irrigation Department is a factor of knowledge, with a mean value of 4.288. Relations competence factors to the success of the project manager of construction projects at the Department of Irrigation Aceh river, which has a very high correlation are technical factors, socialization factors, human factors management, and self-management factor with Pearson correlation coefficient values between 0.900-1.000. Competence factors influence project manager on the success of a construction project on the river Irrigation Office in Aceh, the most influential factor is the human management, with a regression coefficient of 1.183. Abstrak: Keberhasilan suatu proyek dapat dikatakan berhasil apabila biaya, waktu, dan mutu telah tercapai. Jika salah satunya tidak terpenuhi, maka proyek tersebut belum sepenuhnya dikatakan berhasil. Untuk itu dibutuhkan project manager yang handal, yang tahu apa saja tugasnya sebagai seorang pemimpin proyek serta mempunyai persyaratan kompetensi yang dibutuhkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor dominan penerapan kompetensi project manager pada proyek konstruksi sungai di Dinas Pengairan Aceh dan untuk menganalisis bentuk hubungan dan pengaruh antara faktor-faktor kompetensi project manager terhadap keberhasilan proyek konstruksi sungai pada Dinas Pengairan Aceh. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui survei kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada kontraktor yang sudah menangani proyek konstruksi sungai pada Dinas Pengairan Aceh mulai dari tahun 2014-2015. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor dominan penerapan kompetensi project manager pada proyek konstruksi sungai di Dinas Pengairan Aceh adalah faktor pengetahuan, dengan nilai mean sebesar 4,288. Hubungan faktor-faktor kompetensi project manager terhadap keberhasilan proyek konstruksi sungai pada Dinas Pengairan Aceh, yang mempunyai hubungan sangat tinggi adalah faktor teknis, faktor sosialisasi, faktor manajemen manusia, dan faktor manajemen diri dengan nilai koefisien korelasi Pearson antara 0,900-1,000. Pengaruh faktor-faktor kompetensi project manager terhadap keberhasilan proyek konstruksi sungai pada Dinas Pengairan Aceh, yang paling berpengaruh adalah faktor manajemen manusia, dengan nilai koefisien regresi sebesar 1,183.

Abstract

Abstract:Delays in project implementation is an obstacle that is generally always detrimental to both owners and contractors. Based on the format of data to monitor the work packages Aceh Irrigation Department 2011 budget year were funded by the APBA, experienced delays in completion of the work in the field. This study aims to identify the factors and the dominant factors that cause occurred inhibiting the implementation of the irrigation project in the province of Aceh, as well as analyzing the shape of the relationship and influence between the inhibiting factors against time irrigation project in the province of Aceh. Projects reviewed is the irrigation project has been completed starting from the year 2012-2015, with funding from the APBA, which is aimed at contractors in irrigation. Factors that cause the occurrence of inhibiting the implementation of the irrigation project in the province of Aceh is caused by factors of labor, material factors, factors of design and planning, factor of implementation and labor relations, factors of equipment, factor conditions and circumstances on the ground, and factors beyond the ability of contractors , The dominant factor in the cause of inhibiting the implementation of irrigation projects in Aceh province is due to factors of labor, with a mean value of 4,328. Relations inhibiting factors against time irrigation project in the province of Aceh, which has a high correlation is a factor of equipment, factors and circumstances on the ground conditions, and factors beyond the ability of the contractor to the Pearson correlation coefficient between 0,700-0,900. Berdasarkan data format pantau paket-paket pekerjaan Dinas Pengairan Aceh tahun anggaran 2011 yang bersumber darid ana APBA, mengalami keterlambatan dalam penyelesaian pekerjaan di lapangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor serta faktor dominan yang  menyebabkan terjadi penghambat pelaksanaan pada proyek irigasi di Provinsi Aceh, sertameng analisis bentuk hubungan dan pengaruh antara faktor-faktor penghambat terhadap waktu proyek irigasi di Provinsi Aceh. Proyek yang ditinjau adalah proyek irigasi yang telah selesai dilaksanakan mulai dari tahun 2012-2015, dengan sumber dana dari APBA, yang ditujukan pada kontraktor bidang irigasi. Faktor-faktor penyebab terjadinya penghambat pelaksanaan pada proyek irigasi di Provinsi Aceh adalah disebabkan oleh faktor tenaga kerja, faktor material, faktor desain dan perencanaan, faktor pelaksanaan dan hubungan kerja, faktor peralatan, faktor kondisi dan keadaan di lapangan, danf aktor di luar kemampuan kontraktor. Faktor dominan penyebab terjadinya penghambat pelaksanaan pada proyek irigasi di Provinsi Aceh adalah disebabkan faktor tenaga kerja, dengan nilai mean sebesar 4,328. Hubungan faktor-faktor penghambat terhadap waktu proyek irigasi di Provinsi Aceh, yang mempunyai hubungan tinggi adalah faktor peralatan, faktor kondisi  dan  keadaan di  lapangan, dan faktor di luar kemampuan kontraktor dengan nilai koefisien korelasi  Pearson antara 0,700-0,900. Abstract

Lean construction is a construction implementation method that can minimize waste and maximize value. The problem is that there are still many contractor companies that adhere to conventional implementation methods. Lean construction has been introduced by the central government since 2016. This research aims to determine the level of importance and ease of implementation of lean construction on building construction projects in Aceh Province according to perceptions of the qualifications of small and non-small contractor companies partially and simultaneously. Draft Lean construction evaluated as many as 47 indicators. This research uses quantitative methods through questionnaires with a sample of 78 contractor company personnel. Technique sampling used proportionate stratified random sampling. Data analysis techniques used descriptive statistics and importance-performance analysis (IPA). The research results show that in the application of lean construction, according to the perception of small contractor companies, there are 11 indicators that are considered important and not easy to implement. The application of lean construction according to the perception of non-small contractor companies, there are 6 indicators that are considered important and not easy to implement. The application of lean construction according to the perception of small and non-small contractor companies, there are 11 indicators that are considered important and not easy to implement. For small and non-small qualifying contractor companies to increase readiness for implementation of lean construction in building construction projects in Aceh Province, it is necessary to increase the readiness of the indicators included in quadrant A.

Abstract

There are several constructions in Aceh Tengah Regency that have experienced deviations between the initial planning and the result in terms of time, cost and quality. There was many obstacles which  influence the performance of a project which therefore, inevitably, become the cause of the delays in the process of completing a project. This study was aimed at determining the risk factors that affect the time performance of project development in Aceh Tengah. This study was conducted by analysing perception data obtained from questionnaires from contractor respondents. The data of this study derived from primary and secondary data collection. The primary data were collected from questionnaires which were distributed to 57 respondents who were qualified as K1, K2, K3 and M1 contractors in Aceh Tengah. While the secondary data were in the form of supporting theories taken from books, journals and other literature. The method used in analysing the data were the Severity Index which was used to determined the level of probability and risk impact followed by  a risk matrix which used to measure the level of the risks. The results of this study showed that there were 4 dominant risk factors and 20 description of the risk factors which belonged  to the medium and high categories, namely 2 factors with medium categories are in the field of the design factor and construction factor. As well as 2 factors with high categories found in the financial factors section. Where these four factors have an impact on project time, namely the occurrence of delays or even the project can be stopped. Abstract

Urban forests play a pivotal role in climate change mitigation by storing carbon in biomass. However, the economic valuation of this ecosystem service in Banda Aceh City remains underexplored. This study aims to quantify aboveground biomass carbon stocks and assess their economic value in six selected urban forests across the city. Non-destructive sampling was conducted using 20 × 20 m plots to measure tree diameter, estimate biomass using species-specific allometric equations, and calculate carbon content (C = 0.5 × B). A carbon price of US$50/ton was applied for economic valuation. The total carbon stock was estimated at 11,579 tons, with Putroe Phang Forest contributing the highest proportion (45%). The corresponding economic value was approximately IDR 3.42 billion. A strong positive correlation (R² = 0.9859) was observed between tree diameter and biomass. This study presents a novel economic perspective on urban forest carbon in Banda Aceh by integrating ecological data with financial valuation. The findings underscore the importance of incorporating carbon trading mechanisms into urban planning to strengthen ecosystem service assessments and climate policy implementation.

Abstract

The development of the construction services sector in Indonesia continues to experience rapid growth, encouraging construction industry players to have quality human resources. This research aims to identify project manager competency factors on construction projects in Banda Aceh City, analyse the relationship between these and project performance achievements, and evaluate their influence on construction project performance achievements in Banda Aceh City. The object of this research is the competency factors of project managers that influence construction project performance. This research was conducted at contractor companies domiciled in the Banda Aceh City area. The data sources used in this research are primary data and secondary data. The population of contractors at small, medium and large qualification levels is 71 contractors. The total sample was 42 contractors. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The variables used in this research include the independent variable (X) and the dependent variable (Y). The data analysis used in this research is descriptive, simple correlation analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The research results show that knowledge, skills, and attitudes have a solid relationship. In contrast, management has a high relationship with project performance achievement. Overall, the project manager's competency factor significantly affects project performance, reaching 94.9%. Management is the most dominant competency factor influencing the achievement of project performance in Banda Aceh City. Thus, increasing the competence of project managers, especially in management, is expected to improve the quality of construction project implementation in the region.
