Abstract

Introduction : Breast Cancer is a desease with high incidence rate in many countries and has high risk of dead if it handled late. Breast Self-Examination (BSE) can be performed to detect breast cancer symptoms early so it can reduce the risk of death. The goal of the research is to know more about the the influence of health education with audio visual media to the knowledge of young women about breast self-examination (BSE) in SMAN 1 Kuta Utara. Method: The method of this research is pre experimental design with one group pre-post test design. The sample of this research is 33 students selected using purposive sampling technique. The measurement of student’s knowledge in pre test is 17 person (51,5%) have a less knowledge and 16 person (48,5%) have an enough knowledge. The post test result is 20 person (60,6%) have a good knowledge and 13 person (39,4%) have an enough knowledge. Discussion: This is because of the sutend have already get the intervention form of give the information through the health education with audio visual media about BSE.

Abstract

Leucorrhoea is a symptom in the form of a liquid that is not in the form of blood coming out of genetal organs. In Indonesia, about 90% of women have the potential to experience leucorrhoea because the country of Indonesia is a tropical climate, so young fungi develop which result in many cases of leucorrhoea. Leucorrhoea in teenagers can be caused by bad behavior of leucorrhoea precaution. Knowledge is a factor to build behavior in teenager. This study aims to analyze the correlation between level knowledge about leucorrhoea with prevention behavior leucorrhoea for teenage girls at SMA Dharma Praja Denpasar. The type of research is quantitative by using descriptive correlation design method with cross sectional approach. The population in this study were female students of class X at SMA Dharma Praja Denpasar as many 124 people. The technique sampling is using simple random sampling with total sample of 95 respondents. Statistical tests using the Spearman Rank correlation test. The results showed that more teenager with good knowledge of leucorrhoea have good behavior in leucorrhoea precaution (82.3%). The results of the statistical tests show that there is a significant correlation with the strong strength between knowledge about Leucorrhoea with prevention behavior leucorrhoea for teenage girls at Sma Dharma Praja Denpasar, with a significance value of 0,000 with a correlation coefficient of 0.722. The higher adolescent's knowledge, it will better for behavior of adolescents towards prevention of leucorrhoea. Based on this study, it is recommended that health workers be expected to work together with schools in providing information to students about reproductive health, especially leucorrhoea.

Abstract

Adolescents are individuals who show the secondary sexual signs until they reach sexual maturity. Maturity of sexual organs and hormonal changes cause the emergence of sexual urges in adolescents in sexual behavior. This study aims to determine the effect of providing health education to the level of knowledge on premarital sexual behavior. This type of research is an experimental quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group design approach. Non-equivalent control group design approach. The number of samples in this study were 94 respondents with stratified random sampling technique. The results showed that 47 (100%) in the treatment group were in the good category while in the control group were 2 (4.0%) in the poor category, 32 (68.0%) in the adequate category and 13 (28.0%) in the good category. Based on the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test statistical test it is known that p = 0,000 so that p <α nikai α = 0.05, then H0 is rejected, meaning there is an influence of health education. Adolescents are expected to increase their knowledge and understanding of health education, so that they can prevent premarital sexual behavior.
