Abstract

The residents of Kp Guha Kulon, Leuwikaret Village, Klapanunggal Subdistrict, Bogor district, consist of 233 families whose livelihoods are mostly daily laborers and traders. With the conditions of the Covid-19 pandemic, lots of residents do not work. In order to provide beneficial free time for them, the Study Program of Industrial Electrical Automation Engineering conducted a residential electrical installation training program. The purpose of this is to provide proper understanding on how to install the electricity correctly and the dangers caused by electricity. After the training, the participants were expected to have confidence in repairing or installing electricity in their houses. Apart from this program,  the Industrial Electrical Automation Engineering Study Program also donated 100 basic food packages to the residents. The method used in this community service consists of three parts: making training modules, conducting the training, and distributing basic necessities. The results show that all activities had run well where training modules had been given to the participants, the training had been conducted, and the basic food packages had been distributed to the residents of Kp Guha Kulon. This is proven by the enthusiasm of villagers who participated in the activities and hoped to continue for a certified training where they can be professional electricians so they can earn more income.

Abstract

Kampung Setaman is one of the Climate Village (Proklim) prototypes, with work programs on greening and environmental planning, waste management, food and energy sustainability, and other community activities contributing to public resilience to climate change. Almost all of these work programs have been implemented privately, except for the energy sustainability work program, which promotes the use of renewable energy sources due to financial constraints. The lighting conditions on public street lights in Kampung Setaman continue to rely primarily on PLN sources sourced from nearby public houses, burdening the public's electricity bills. PS-TOLI conducted public service activities in the form of PJU-PLTS installation to solve the problem. Three (3) public street lighting point were installed using a PLTS source. The light is controlled automatically by a microcontroller based on the amount of sunlight and traffic density. Lamp lights can be dimmed as needed to conserve battery power. The PJU-PLTS performance test involves testing the output of the PLTS system as well as the automatic performance of the lighting lamp. In addition to the installation of street lights, the village community receives training in New and Renewable Energy as well as street lamp maintenance. It is hoped that the public will be encouraged to use PLTS as an alternative to electricity.

Abstract

Pengukuran suhu dan getaran pada turbin uap sangat penting karena variabel tersebut menentukan lifetime turbin uap. Jika suhu dan getaran diluar batas aman, turbin uap akan mengalami kerusakan seperti terbakar dan komponen rusak/retak. Hal ini akan membahayakan mesin, manusia, dan lingkungan sekitar. Untuk itu, diperlukan sistem kontrol dan monitoring suhu dan getaran pada turbin uap berbasis PLC dan HMI dengan integrasi sensor. Data pengukuran suhu dan getaran dapat dilihat pada layar HMI dan di update secara realtime setiap detik. Dengan adanya sistem ini diharapkan kinerja dan keselamatan turbin meningkat dan efisien dalam kontrol dan monitoring suhu dan getaran pada turbin uap. Hasil dari sistem kontrol dan monitoring suhu dan getaran dapat berfungsi dengan baik. Hal ini ditandai dengan nilai suhu turbin normal sekitar 100 dan nilai getaran normal sekitar 1,1 mm/s.

Abstract

Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI) face high occupational risks, making it essential to provide them with appropriate attention to prevent and reduce unwanted incidents. A computerized system in the form of a web application can assist administrators in managing PMI complaints and protection more effectively. Through this system, administrators can handle PMI data, manage content such as news and announcements, monitor statistics related to users, complaints, and protection cases, and manage complaint and protection data submitted by PMI to ensure their safety. This study aims to design and develop a Complaint and Protection Management System Website for PMI in Malaysia. The system includes four main features: secure admin access with login, user registration, password recovery, and administrative capabilities. Administrators can manage user data, handle complaints, update report status, respond to complaints, view other administrators' lists, and modify personal data and password settings. Additionally, they can manage front-end content for the mobile application, including news and announcements. This system is designed to be efficient and responsive to the needs of PMI. The study conducted four tests”Functionality Testing, API Testing, Performance Testing, and Security Testing. Results indicate that the system meets required standards, with no errors detected during testing.

Abstract

This research addresses the lack of an accurate and efficient monitoring system for renewable energy utilization in Tidung Island. Despite its high solar and wind energy potential, the absence of real-time environmental data hinders optimal energy management. Existing IoT-based monitoring systems are costly and complex, making them unsuitable for remote areas. This research integrates Blynk IoT and Google Sheets database for real-time, cost-effective, and easily accessible data storage. This system enables real-time data acquisition to support efficient energy management and environmental monitoring in remote areas. Testing results show that the Telkomsel 4G modem provides a more stable connection with lower latency and minimal packet loss. Temperature remains between 25–30°C, while humidity fluctuates up to 100% at night. Wind speed is classified as low to moderate (1.0–6.1 m/s), and CO₂ levels range from 400–600 PPM, remaining within safe limits. These findings suggest the need for improved energy storage, system resilience against environmental changes, and adaptive energy management strategies for optimal hybrid renewable energy utilization.

Abstract

Flame treatment adalah proses yang memodifikasi permukaan benda dengan panas dari nyala api untuk meningkatkan daya rekat cat, laminasi, atau pelapisan pada bahan seperti plastik, karet, atau logam. Proses ini menggunakan robot lengan ABB dengan sistem pneumatik untuk memegang dan mengangkat botol plastik sebelum tahap pembakaran. Masalah utama dalam proses ini adalah fluktuasi tekanan udara, yang menyebabkan botol plastik terjatuh saat diambil oleh robot ABB, sehingga mengganggu kelancaran produksi. Solusi yang diusulkan pada penelitian ini adalah penggunaan digital pressure switch, perangkat elektronik yang mendeteksi tekanan udara dengan akurasi tinggi. Digital pressure switch memantau tekanan udara secara real-time dan menghentikan operasi jika tekanan tidak sesuai dengan rentang yang diinginkan. Ini menjaga stabilitas proses flame treatment dan memastikan botol dapat diambil dengan sempurna. Implementasi digital pressure switch meningkatkan efisiensi proses flame treatment sebesar 6 %, sehingga meningkatkan kualitas dan efisiensi produksi.

Abstract

Memonitor kualitas air pada perikanan budidaya sangatlah penting. Hal ini terkait dengan upaya mengoptimalkan pertumbuhan ikan dan meningkatkan hasil produksi. Umumnya kegiatan ini dilakukan secara manual, yaitu dengan mengambil contoh air kolam pada pagi, siang, dan malam hari, lalu hasil pengukuran di analisa. Hal ini sangat tidak efektif. Sehingga pada penelitian ini, kami merancang sistem pemonitor kualitas air yang dapat memastikan kondisi air secara real time, memeriksa nilai parameter melalui Smartphone, dan menerima pemberitahuan alarm jika terjadi perubahan nilai diluar rentang nilai yang telah ditentukan.Sistem ini terdiri dari tiga bagian yang saling terintegrasi yaitu (1) empat  sensor yang penting dalam pertumbuhan ikan yaitu, DO, suhu, pH, dan salinitas; (2) RTU berbasis mikrokontroler ESP32 dan ADS115 sebagai kontroler dan ADC; (3) Blynk sebagai display pemonitoring nilai parameter yang berbasis Internet of Things. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini dapat berfungsi dengan baik. Alarm berbunyi dan notifikasi alarm terbaca di smartphone apabila nilai parameter diluar rentang yang telah ditentukan.
