Abstract

Azolla pinnata adalah salah satu tanaman yang memiliki kandungan protein yang tinggi, sehingga sangat cocok untuk ditambahkan ke dalam pakan ternak. tanaman Azolla pinnata dapat menjadi salah satu solusi dalam mengatasi masalah harga pakan yang mahal .Maka dari itu pemberian biowash berbahan kulit umbi diharapkan sangat mendukung pertumbuhan dan perkembangan Azolla pinnata.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian biowash berbahan kulit umbi dengan variasi dosis terhadap kandungan protein , berat basah dan berat kering Azolla pinnata .Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen menggunakan desain penelitian rancangan Acak Lengkap/RAL 4x4 dengan empat perlakuan dan empat pengulangan yaitu sebagai berikut P0 : biowash 0 ml/L air sungai .P1 : biowash 25 ml/L air sungai P2 : biowash 35 ml/L air sungai P3 : biowash 45 ml/L air sungai. Parameter dalam penelitian ini adalah kandungan protein ,berat basah tanaman Azolla pinnata  dan berat kering tanaman Azolla pinnata . Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa biowash berpengaruh untuk mendukung pertumbuhan tanaman Azolla pinnata , hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari bertambahnya kandungan protein pada tanaman Azolla pinnata , berat basah tanaman Azolla pinnata dan berat kering tanaman Azolla pinnata.Kata kunci: Azolla pinnata ,Biowash ,Kandungan protein

Abstract

Orchid plants are ornamental plants with various shapes, colors, and sizes, exhibiting unique characteristics that make them a special attraction for enthusiasts of ornamental plants. Among them is the Dendrobium orchid, which belongs to the genus of orchids known for its diverse types and beauty. Enhancing the growth and quality of Dendrobium Sonia-ersakul orchid flowers can be achieved through proper fertilization. The fertilizer in this research is derived from liquid organic fertilizer, Eco Enzyme. This research aims to assess the impact of Eco Enzyme on the induction of flowering growth in Dendrobium orchids. This research was carried out at CV Candi Orchid, 17 Bukit Unggul Raya Street, Semarang, over three months, from May to July 2023. The research design employed in this research is the two-tailed t-test research method, which includes a control group and an experimental group treated with 0.2% Eco Enzyme. There were two combinations, with each treatment comprising six replicates. The measured variables included the number of roots, root length, buds, and panicles. The outcomes indicated that the application of Eco Enzyme led to a significant increase in the number of panicles compared to the control group. However, no significant differences were observed in root length, the number of new roots, or the number of buds when Eco Enzyme was applied.

Abstract

Phalaenopsis var. Happy Valentine orchid is a plant with a growth and flowering process of approximately 1-2 years. Generally, orchids can bloom in about 9-12 months. Optimal concentrations of Thiamine HCl (vitamin B1) are required to support the vegetative growth of Phalaenopsis var. Happy orchids. This research aims to determine the effect and the best concentration of vitamin B1 among 1ml, 2ml, and 3ml on the vegetative growth, including leaf span, root quantity, leaf width, and length of young leaves of Phalaenopsis var. Happy Valentine seedlings. The method used was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD), with treatment factors being the concentration of vitamin B1 and Growmore fertilizer, comprising four treatment levels and six replications, namely V0 = 2gr/L Growmore fertilizer, V1 = 2gr/L Growmore fertilizer + 1ml B1, V2 = 2gr/L Growmore fertilizer + 2ml B1, dan V3 = 2gr/L Growmore fertilizer + 3ml B1. This research used 24 Phalaenopsis var. Happy Valentine orchid seedlings as research samples. The data were analyzed using ANOVA with a significance level 0.05 and subsequently subjected to Duncan's test. The results indicate that vitamin B1 significantly affects leaf span, length of young leaves, and the quantity of roots in Phalaenopsis var. Happy Valentine.
