Abstract

Tiger shrimp farming is an aquaculture business associated with the rearing of shrimp from egg hatching until they are ready to be harvested for consumption. The amount of tiger shrimp production is highly dependent on the tiger shrimp hatchery process. This study was conducted with the aim to 1) Calculate the income of tiger shrimp hatchery business, 2) Analyze the feasibility of tiger shrimp hatchery business based on the criteria of Revenue Cost Ratio (RCR), Break Even Point (BEP), Payback Period, Return On Investman (ROI), and 3) Describe marketing channels, marketing margins, and farmer share in shrimp hatchery business. The sample method used was purposive sampling and snowball sampling. The results showed that tiger shrimp hatcheries in HSRT Windu Tirta Samudra earned an income of Rp.43,313,992/month. Based on the criteria of RCR, BEP, ROI and Payback Period (PP) tiger shrimp hatchery business is feasible to continue and run. Marketing of tiger shrimp seed forms level 0 and level 1 marketing channels, with a margin of Rp.2/head on level 1 marketing channels, and the farmer's share obtained is efficient because it is above 60%.

Abstract

According to the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 10 of 2009 concerning Tourism, tourism is defined as a variety of tourist activities supported by various facilities and services provided by the community, entrepreneurs, and local governments. This study aims to determine the public perception of the Ulin Nature Terrace tourist attraction in North Sempaja Village, North Samarinda District. The data required are primary data and secondary data according to the research objectives. Based on the results of the study, it is known that people's perceptions of tourist attractions use sapta charm indicators, namely security, order, cleanliness, coolness, beauty, friendliness, and memories. The highest indicator is beauty (1,273) and the lowest is hospitality (1,192). Overall, people's perceptions are classified as good because the value of 8,519 is in the interval range 7,140 - 8,819, meaning that the community views the existence of these attractions as positive and beneficial, because these attractions not only offer tourist attractions in the form of fish therapy, but other interesting panoramas.

Abstract

This research aims to assess how service quality and pricing affect the likelihood of returning to Café Damar Shaker Padang Baru. The study uses a quantitative approach with a causal associative model, employing a survey methodology. The research population comprises customers of Café Damar Shaker Padang Baru, with a sample size of 130 respondents. A non-probability sampling method, specifically purposive sampling, was used. The research instruments were tested for validity and reliability. Analysis included tests for normality, heteroscedasticity, and multicollinearity. Hypothesis testing was conducted using multiple linear regression and the coefficient of determination. Findings reveal that service quality, pricing, and the intention to revisit are all rated highly, with average scores of 4.64, 4.67, and 4.71 respectively. The multiple linear regression analysis produced an F value of 64.723 with a significance level of 0.000 (p < 0.05), confirming the validity of the regression model. The Adjusted R Square value of 0.497 indicates that service quality and pricing account for 49.7% of the variation in the intention to revisit Café Damar Shaker Padang Baru, while the remaining 50.3% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. Consequently, the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is supported.

Abstract

The potential of Selar Fish (Selaroides spp.) caught by fishermen in the waters of Donggala Regency requires in-depth study to support sustainable management and ensure its sustainability in the future. This research aims to analyze catch per unit effort (CPUE) as well as the maximum sustainable potential of trevally (Selaroides spp.) in the region. The research location covers three administrative areas, namely Labean Village (Balaesang District), Ogoamas Village (North Sojol District), and Labuan Bajo Village (Banawa District). The research results show that the average trevally production during the 2017-2023 period reached 5,019.06 tons per year, with an average fishing effort of 2,479.66 trips per year. The average catch per attempt (CPUE) was recorded at 2,394.92 tons/trip. Based on analysis using the Schaefer model, the maximum sustainable potential (hMSY) is obtained with a maximum biological production of 6,238 tons per year. Maximum economic profit is achieved at a hMEY production level of 6,152 tons per year, while the equilibrium condition for fisheries in open access (hOAY) occurs at a production level of 2,579 tons per year. In terms of fishing effort, the biologically optimum number of efforts (EMSY) is 3,175 trips per year, economically (EMEY) it is 2,803 trips per year, while in open access conditions (EOAY) it reaches 5,606 trips per year. This data indicates that MEY-based management is more advisable to maximize economic benefits while maintaining the sustainability of trevally resources. These findings can be a basis for policy makers in establishing sustainable fisheries management strategies in the waters of Donggala Regency
