Abstract

Data Processing PT. Daya Cipta Karya Sempurna regarding the entry and exit of goods at PT. Daya Cipta Karya Sempurna still uses a semi-manual system where when the ordered goods arrive, the items will be recorded in the warehouse using Microsoft Excel. Likewise with the items that come out are also recorded in the warehouse using Microsoft Excel. In addition, this information only exists in the warehouse so that when other parts or want to know the inventory of existing goods, other parts cannot access it directly. The section must ask the warehouse to find the state of the desired supply and must wait to get the answer. As a solution to the problems above, it takes an inventory system at PT. Daya Cipta Karya Sempurna Power that can be used to manage goods group data, goods data, user data, incoming goods data and outgoing goods data as well as display reports

Abstract

This community service project addresses the issue of teaching Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in Semarang Regency, which is still dominated by linear methods and lacks visualization, hindering students' comprehension of complex ICT concepts. The goal is to enhance educators' ability to design visual-based teaching modules supported by Dual Coding Theory and Constructivism. The solution provided was an intensive workshop and collaborative mentoring on both manual and digital mind mapping techniques. The results showed a significant increase in educators' cognitive competency, indicated by the average score rising from 55.4% on the pre-test to 88.2% on the post-test. Participants successfully designed digital mind map-based ICT modules with an average product quality score of 88.9%. This success proves the effectiveness of mind mapping as a pedagogical tool for transforming ICT learning into a more active, visual, and structured experience.

Abstract

Social Network Analysis (SNA) is a crucial quantitative methodology for mapping relationships and identifying connectivity structures within a group. This research specifically explores the use of the NetworkX library in Python as an effective tool for analyzing social networks. The primary objective of this study is to apply the Degree Centrality method to measure the level of connectivity and identify the most popular actors in a social network. The methodology employed is the quantitative analysis of an undirected graph modeled from the us_edgelist.csv dataset, which contains a list of relationships among political figures in an edge list format. Data processing utilized pandas, and the graph object was constructed using NetworkX. Degree Centrality was calculated for each node, with the results being normalized to provide a relative value. This normalization allows for a direct comparison of how active each actor is within the network. The centrality results were then visualized, with node sizes adjusted based on their Degree Centrality score. The results of the analysis indicate that figures like Bush and Obama possess the highest Degree Centrality score, 0.25, suggesting they have the greatest number of direct connections in this network. This high value confirms their role as the most active or central actors in the exchange and interaction within the political network studied. This finding validates the effectiveness of Degree Centrality as an indicator of high involvement. The study concludes that the implementation of Social Network Analysis using NetworkX provides a robust framework for understanding political relationship structures. Therefore, Degree Centrality is a reliable metric for quantifying actor activity and accurately identifying individuals who form the center of connections within the network.
