Abstract

Pengabdian ini mencoba memberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman betapa pentingnya optimalisasi peran guru dalam memperkuat resiliensi anak usia dini pada masa adaptasi kebiasaan baru. Tahap menyusun artikel ini menggunakan studi literatur yang menggunakan berbagai referensi yang mendukung proses pengabdian yang dilakukan di masyarakat. Selain itu, untuk mengetahui secara nyata keadaan real, maka penelitian ini menggunakan teknik wawancara kepada beberapa responden. Pengabdian ini berkaitan dengan bagaimana konsep inovasi pembelajaran sebagai strategi untuk menghadapi tantangan resiliensi anak usia dini pada masa pandemi covid-19. Hasil pengabdian ini selain untuk memberikan inovasi pembelajaran anak usia dini, juga berupaya untuk meningkatkan kualitas hubungan guru dan siswa PAUD.

Abstract

Politeness in language is an important indicator of the success of character education which must be cultivated in every aspect of life, both at school, in the family and in society. Nowadays, language politeness in the younger generation is starting to decline both in the school and family environment. In fact, elementary school age is the initial phase for building character education both in communication and behavior. The importance of politeness in language as a reflection of a person's character in establishing communication and human social interaction. This encourages the need to conduct research related to the use of speech in building students' character. This research uses a qualitative approach. Participants in this research were teachers and students. Data is collected through listening, recording and noting the results of observations. The research results found two principles of compliance and violation of language politeness. The principle of obedience consists of the maxim of generosity contained in speech about respecting others and speech about generosity. Meanwhile, the utterance of the maxim of sympathy is contained in the speech of an attitude of sympathy. Furthermore, violations or deviations from the principles of politeness were found in several maxims in Indonesian language learning activities. Violations of the principles of language politeness that were found included violations of language politeness, the maxims of consensus and generosity. This is because students are used to using Javanese and Indonesian in communication so that code mixing occurs.

Abstract

The development of digital flipbooks based on local wisdom as a medium for learning Indonesian language material aims to improve learning outcomes. The choice of flipbook as a learning medium is due to the characteristics of Indonesian language subjects, the majority of which are text-oriented which can cause learning boredom in students. Flipbooks are seen as innovative and interesting media that can illustrate concrete experiences in academic concepts so that they can give rise to contextual learning. Flipbook was developed using the ADDIE model including five stages, namely 1) analysis; 2) design; 3) development; 4) implementation and 5) evaluation. The subjects are teachers and students, while the object is a digital flipbook as a learning medium. The material used in learning media is Indonesian language material and local wisdom content. The research results show that the development of Flipbook learning media as digital media can have a positive impact on both teachers and students in improving learning outcomes. The aspect of Indonesian language material used in flipbook media has relevance. This can be seen from the compatibility between descriptive text material which is integrated with local cultural wisdom and tourist attractions. Furthermore, procedural text material is integrated with local food and arts and crafts wisdom.Keywords: flipbook, local wisdom, integration, learning

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the advertising discourse of two brands of bottled drinking water (AMDK), namely the AQUA and Le Minerale brands on the YouTube channel. It becomes an interesting conversation when the two water brand advertisements favor each other's positive image and seem to give hidden messages in the language used. The analysis method uses Van Dijk's critical discourse analysis perspective and formalist language functions. Based on the results of the analysis found on the use of language displayed in the two discourses of mineral water product advertisements, it forms a different construct. This is caused by several aspects. Standardized variety is widely used in Le Minerale advertising discourse while non-standardized variety is widely used in AQUA advertising discourse. The emergence of contraction patterns in the production of words chosen by mineral water brands but there are many affixation processes in the choice of words in Le Minerale's advertising discourse. There are differences in delivering the introduction in opening an advertising discourse between Le Minerale and AQUA products.

Abstract

Short story is a literary work in the form of fictional prose that tells about experienced by the main character. This study aims to describe the form and meaning of metaphors contained in the short story Sepasang Wajah dalam Bilik Suara by Indra Tranggono. This research method is descriptive qualitative. This research uses the reading-note technique. The data source in this research is the short story A Pair of Faces in the Sound Room. The results of this study found forms of metaphor which include 7 anthropomorphic, 4 animalistic, 3 abstraction, and 7 synesthetic, so that it has aesthetic value and the way of description is more creative and expressive. In addition, there are also stylistic elements such as lexical meaning, grammatical meaning, cohesion, structural investigation, simile and imagery in short stories.

Abstract

Preservation of oral traditions in an effort to maintain cultural values which are the local wisdom of the community is one of the important issues to be discussed. This is very important in an effort to maintain regional identity and support mental development. Petatah-petitih is an oral tradition in the form of expressions that contain advice, prohibitions, and satire. Expressions are conveyed in informal situations. In official situations, petatah-petitih is spoken in scouting activities for visitors to the Cirebon Kasepuhan Palace. The purpose of this study is to describe the performance. The method used is the ethnographic method. This research approach uses anthropolinguistics which is an interdisciplinary relationship between language and speech behavior (practice). The performance findings are in the form of speaking practice which includes the structure of the petatah-petitih text, the stages of performance of the petatah-petitih, the performer components and the speech function of the petatah-petitih text. The results showed that the performance of petatah-petitih is a performance of advice which consists of persuasive expressions. Persuasive expressions include imperative sentences, invitations, advice and satire.Keywords: culture, oral tradition, performance

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan menulis peserta didik dalammenulis teks cerita fantasi. Selain itu, terdapat banyak bentuk plagiasi yang dilakukan pesertadidik dalam menulis teks cerita fantasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini, yaitu (1) menemukan analisiskebutuhan pengembangan model pembelajaran menulis teks cerita fantasi berbasis pendekataninkuiri berbantuan media kartu imaji, (2) mengetahui langkah-langkah pengembangannya, (3)mengetahui kelayakan rancangan pengembangannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan desainResearch and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan 4D (define, design, develop,dan dissemination) Thiagarajan (1974). Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian inimenggunakan wawancara dan angket. Terdapat tiga hasil dari penelitian pengembangan.Pertama, kebutuhan terhadap pengembangan model menulis teks cerita fantasi berbasispendekatan inkuiri berbantuan kartu imaji sesuai dengan permasalahan dan kebutuhan. Kedua,langkah pengembangan ini dimulai dari analisis awal. Desain produk, dan pengembangan. Produkpenelitian pengembangan ini dinilai sangat layak oleh ahli model pembelajaran dan ahli mediapembelajaran. Saran peneliti kepada pendidik untuk menggunakkan model pembelajaran menulisteks cerita fantasi berbasis pendekaran inkuiri berbantuan kartu imaji dengan menyesuaikansarana dan prasarana yang ada di sekolah. Kata Kunci: menulis, cerita fantasi, pendekatan inkuiri, kartu imaji.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya tingkat literasi dan minat baca peserta didik, yang berdampak pada keterbatasan kosa kata dan kurang optimalnya kemampuan menulisteks naratif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kebiasaan membaca ceritaanak terhadap keterampilan menulis teks naratif peserta didik kelas VII MTs Negeri 2 KotaMagelang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif non-eksperimen dengan desain expost facto. Sampel diambil secara purposive sampling sebanyak 64 siswa Fase D1. Teknik analisisdata meliputi uji normalitas, regresi linear sederhana, dan analisis N-Gain dengan bantuan SPSSversi 24.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan signifikan antara kelas 7B dan 7D,meskipun keduanya diajar oleh guru dan metode yang sama, yaitu Project Based Learning. Kelas7B, yang rutin membaca cerita anak, menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan menulis yang lebihtinggi. Nilai R Square sebesar 0,494 menunjukkan bahwa 49,4% variasi dalam keterampilanmenulis dipengaruhi oleh kebiasaan membaca. Uji signifikansi Anova menghasilkan nilai 0,000,menegaskan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan. N-Gain kelas 7B tergolong sedang (0,3277),sedangkan kelas 7D rendah (0,1262). Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa kebiasaan membaca cerita anak secara rutin berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan keterampilan menulis naratif siswa.Kata kunci: kebiasaan membaca, cerita anak, menulis, teks naratif.

Abstract

Political rap battles have evolved into a form of digital communication that combines entertainment with socio-political criticism through the strategic use of expressive speech acts. This is important to publish because it represents a transformation in contemporary political communication that utilizes popular culture to reach a wide audience, especially the younger generation who tend to be apathetic towards formal politics. Although the popularity of political rap battles in Indonesia continues to rise, a significant gap remains in understanding their linguistic characteristics and pragmatic functions as a medium of digital political communication. This study examines the forms and functions of expressive speech acts in four popular rap battle videos from the YouTube channel SkinnyIndonesia24, employing a descriptive-analytical qualitative method. Data consisting of 80 utterances were analyzed based on Austin-Searle's speech act theory to identify six expressive categories: criticism (50 utterances), pride (22 utterances), anger (2 utterances), disappointment (2 utterances), praise (2 utterances), and apology (2 utterances). The findings indicate that expressive speech acts function as rhetorical strategies to convey ideological messages through the use of irony, hyperbole, and sarcasm. This study has important implications for the development of digital literacy and the understanding of contemporary Indonesian political communication, demonstrating that rap battles are a legitimate and influential space for political articulation in shaping public discourse.
