Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan minat dan prestasi belajar matematika MateriJarak dan Kecepatan melalui model pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe STAD pada siswa kelas V SDNegeri Pandeanlamper 03 Semarang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yangterdiri dari 2 siklus. Obyek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD Negeri Pandeanlamper03 Semarang yang berjumlah 39 siswa. Terdiri dari 18 siswa laki-laki dan 20 siswa perempuan.Instrumen yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data menggunakan tes/evaluasi, angket motivasi,lembar observasi untuk aktivitas guru dan aktivitas siswa. Analisis datanya secara deskriptifkualitati dipersentasekan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan modelpembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dapat meningkatkan minat belajar siswa. Hal ini ditandai dengansiswa yang sebelumnya pasif dalam proses pembelajaran menjadi aktif dalam pembelajaran. Selainitu siswa yang sebelumnya tidak memperhatikan guru menjadi memperhatikan guru pada saatproses pembelajaran. Berdasarkan angket minat belajar siswa pada siklus I dengan skor 1354 danpresentase 75,18 % sedangkan pada siklus II dengan skor 1392 dan prosentase 82,40% termasukdalam criteria minat belajar yang baik. Selain minat belajar siswa yang meningkat, pembelajarandengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dapat meningkatkan prestasibelajar siswa. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil siklus I dan siklus II. Prestasi belajar siswa dapatdilihat dari ketuntasan belajar siswa pada siklus I dengan nilai rata-rata 77,9 dan ketuntasan belajar60,52 %, kemudian pada siklus II meningkat dengan nilai rata-rata 89,5 dan ketuntasan belajar92,10 %

Abstract

Mata pelajaran pendidikan kewarganegaraan merupakan pembekalan ilmu pengetahuan yang tidak hanya pada nilai-nilai, etika, tetapi juga merupakan nilai-nilai keagamaan dan moral maupun budaya bangsa. Dalam hal ini agar mampu meningkatkan keaktifan siswa dan mampu menjawab pertanyaan dengan baik dan benar khususnya dalam mata pelajaran PKn. Salah satu usaha yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah adalah dengan membuat inovasi baru mengenai konsep belajar dan mengajar dilingkungan sekolah yang inovatif dan kreatif karena sekolah merupakan lembaga pendidikan formal yang menyediakan tempat bagi siswa dan guru untuk melakukan macam kegiatan belajar menjadi proses pembelajaran. Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah minat dan prestasi belajar PKn kelas V SDN Balerejo 01 yang belum optimal akan ditingkatkan dengan menggunakan metode talking stick dengan media pembelajaran yang sudah disiapkan oleh guru. talking stick adalah metode pembelajaran dengan menggunakan tongkat, siswa yang memegang tongkat wajib menjawab pertanyaan. metode talking stick akan mendorong siswa untuk aktif, membantu siswa memahami materi dan menciptakan suasana belajar yang menyenangkan. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan dengan dua siklus, setiap siklus terdiri atas dua pertemuan terdiri atas tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V yang berjumlah 21 siswa SDN Balerejo 01 Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes, observasi, angket, dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan aktivitas siswa pada siklus I memperoleh skor 653 dengan pesentase 62,19% kategori baik, siklus II memperoleh skor 873 dengan presentase 83,14% kategori sangat baik. minat siswa pada siklus I memperoleh skor 598 dengan presentase 56,96% kategori cukup minat, siklus II memperoleh skor 813 dengan presentase 77,43% kategori sangat  minat. Persentase ketuntasan prestasi belajar siklus I sebesar 57,15% dengan rata-rata kelas 64,50, siklus II 92,85% dengan rata-rata kelas 79,50. Simpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode talking stick dapat meningkatkan minat dan prestasi belajar dalam pembelajaran PKn pada siswa kelas V SDN Balerejo 01 Demak.

Abstract

The performance of teachers in realizing holistic education can be observed from how the teachers prepare, implement, and evaluate the learning process or their pedagogic knowledge. This study aims to examine the teachers’ ability to plan, implement and evaluate to assess their performance in the elementary school learning process based on tenure and gender. This research is a quantitative study with direct observation, which was conducted on 162 elementary school teachers from 30 public elementary schools in Semarang, Indonesia. Data were collected using assessment sheets. The observer was the principal which belonged to the same school as the respondent. The data were then validated using Pearson's correlation based on group tenure and gender. The instrument was analyzed using structural equation modelling (SEM) and showed that the imposition of the confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) was achieved more than a critical value of .50 which meant that the construct was valid and reliable. The understanding on teachers’ performance was indicated by teachers’ activities in preparing their class. This study found that there was no significant correlation between teachers’ performance and teaching experience or that and gender.

Abstract

This research aims to develop digital-based comic media on addition and subtraction materials of mathematics for elementary school students at grade II. This research was motivated by a lack of knowledge of students on addition and subtraction materials. The novelty of this media is in the form of files without using sheets of paper. This study used ADDIE model (Anlysis, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate). Based on the five stages of development of comic media resulted from the feasibility of 90% while the practicality of teachers obtained a percentage of 90% and practicality of students obtained a percentage of 93%. The use of products gets a percentage of 86% with the category "excellent". This study has an implication that that the use of learning media makes students more actively involved in the learning process especially those in elementary schools. Therefore, teachers are supposed to maintain their creativity in teaching.

Abstract

The use of a monotonous and less attractive learning model results in low connectivity and low confidence. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Think Talk Write (TTW) learnng model on the mathematical connection ability and self-confidence students class IV fraction material. The formulation of the problem in this study is wether there is an effect of the Think Talk Write learning model on the mathematical connection ability and self-confidence students class IV fraction material. This research is conducted to students class IV. This study is a quantitative research with Quasi Experimental Design in the form Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Data collection techniques method the test and questionnaries. Data analysis uses normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis test. The results show that: 1) There is an effect of the Think Talk Write learning model on the mathematical connection ability, as evidenced by the results of the Independent Sample T-Test, there is a sig. (2-tailed) 0.038 <0.05 then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted in the Paired Sample T-Test there is a sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 <0.05 then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. 2) There is an influence of the Think Talk Write learning model on self-confidence from the independent calculation there is a sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05 means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, while in Paired the results are Sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 <0.05 means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This research implies that the TTW learning model can improve the mathematical connection ability and self-confidence students class IV fraction material.

Abstract

Multiculturalism is the initial foundation in educating students to become citizens who can respect and appreciate diversity in Indonesia. Therefore, multicultural education is very important to be implemented in schools, especially elementary schools. This study aims to analyze the involvement of elementary school students in applying the values ​​of multiculturalism education with the Multi-Representational Discourse learning model. This study uses a mixed research method (mix-method). Data was collected through observation, interviews, and distributing questionnaires. The data collection instruments used were observation sheets, interview guidelines, and questionnaires. The data analysis process was carried out qualitatively and quantitatively. The results showed that the involvement of students in applying the value of multicultural education is the application of the value of learning to live in differences and mutual respect and honor. The application of multicultural values ​​with the Multi-Representation Discourse learning model invites to accept the differences that exist in fellow human beings as natural things (natural sunnatullah). In addition, multicultural education instills awareness in students about equality, justice, plurality, nationality, race, ethnicity, language, tradition, and respect for religion.

Abstract

This study aims at describing the use of quantum learning model with Islamic character values to improve students’ achievement at elementary school. It used a descriptive qualitative method. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interview and documentation. The result indicates that quantum learning model with Islamic character values is beneficial for students during the teaching and learning process. These cover students feel more active in the learning process, students have more attention on teachers’ explanations, students have better academic achievement which is shown by the average score among students passing the minimal criteria standard and learning processes and students are able to internalize the Islamic values during teaching and learning process.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is mainly to describe the performance of primary school teachersin the unit of education technical implementation in Banyumanik, Semarang. This researchwas conducted in January- August 2017. The sample of this research is 162 primaryschool teachers selected by random sampling technique in order to get the same opportunityas sample. The instruments used in this study were the assessment sheets, the RatingSheet consisted of 64 items of question, and 3 indicators of Primary School TeacherPerformance. The results show that each of Implementation of lesson plans is categorizedvery well (90, 9%), the execution of the learning is 83.4%, assessment of learning is good(82.8%). The Overall performance of primary school teachers is categorized good( 85 , 7 % ). In other words, the primary school teachers of the unit of education technicalimplementation in Banyumanik Semarang can arrange the lesson plans, carry out learningand teaching process and assess the learning process in elementary school.

Abstract

The study aims at determining the effect of the implementation of the quantum learning model assisted by Islamic-character learning media on the responsibilities and learning outcomes of the fifth graders at Prampelan Elementary School. This research used is pre-experimental design. The results showed that there was an effect of learning responsibilities on the implementation of the quantum learning model assisted by Islamic character learning media influencing student learning outcomes, 51.8%.  Meanwhile, the remaining of learning outcomes, 48.2% of student learning outcomes could be explained by other variables outside this study. Based on the classical completeness test that students in Grade VA at SDN Prampelan with a quantum learning model assisted by Islamic learning media with a value of ≥ 65 has reached 75%

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study is to analyze the “Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM)” program from the perspective of teachers’ teaching readiness. The study used a qualitative approach carried out at one elementary school in Wonosobo Regency, Central Java during the early days of learning activities from August to December 2021. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and questionnaires distributed to participants, which included teachers, students, and pre-service elementary school teachers of Universitas Islam Sultan Agung Semarang. Besides, the secondary data were obtained from books, journal articles, and other sources. The findings revealed that relating to teachers’ teaching readiness, there were 40% of educators mastered the concept of the MBKM program, while another 60% of them understood the term MBKM program from the existing information provided by media. In mastering Information and Communication Technology (ICT), 63% of educators stated that they had mastered ICT and were accustomed to using some social media for learning activities, while 37% of educators had not mastered ICT well but they only used ICT for certain purposes such as teaching the MBKM program although with a relatively low understanding.Keywords: merdeka belajar, internship program, teachers’ readiness, primary school. AbstrakTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis program merdeka belajar kampus merdeka (MBKM) dari perspektif kesiapan mengajar guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif yang dilaksanakan di salah satu sekolah dasar di Kabupaten Wonosobo, Jawa Tengah pada masa-masa awal kegiatan pembelajaran, yaitu Agustus-Desember 2021. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan angket kepada partisipan yang meliputi guru, siswa, dan mahasiswa Universitas Islam Sultan Agung Semarang sebagai calon guru SD. Selain itu, data sekunder diperoleh dari buku, jurnal, dan sumber lainnya. Hasil temuan mengungkapkan bahwa terkait kesiapan guru dalam mengajar, terdapat 40% pendidik yang menguasai konsep program MBKM, sedangkan 60% lainnya hanya memahami istilah program MBKM dari media informasi yang ada. Dalam penguasaan Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK), 63% pendidik menyatakan telah menguasai TIK dan terbiasa menggunakan beberapa media sosial untuk kegiatan pembelajaran, sedangkan 37% pendidik belum menguasai TIK dengan baik, hanya menggunakan TIK untuk tujuan tertentu seperti mengajar dan berkomunikasi. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa para pendidik sudah siap mengajar dalam program MBKM meskipun dengan pemahaman yang relatif rendah.Kata kunci: merdeka belajar, program magang, kesiapan guru, sekolah dasar.
