Abstract

Program "Pembinaan Bahasa Arab bagi Para Ustadz: Upaya Meningkatkan Pemahaman Agama Islam di Masyarakat" bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan bahasa Arab dan pemahaman agama Islam di kalangan ustadz di Desa Rai Oi, Kecamatan Sape, Kabupaten Bima. Metode Participatory Action Research (PAR) diterapkan untuk melibatkan para ustadz secara aktif dalam setiap tahap penelitian, mulai dari identifikasi kebutuhan, perencanaan, pelaksanaan, hingga evaluasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan bahasa Arab para ustadz, dengan rata-rata skor post-test yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan pre-test. Peningkatan juga terlihat dalam pemahaman agama Islam, yang diukur melalui tes pemahaman agama sebelum dan sesudah pembinaan serta observasi praktek pengajaran para ustadz di masyarakat. Tingkat kepuasan ustadz terhadap program juga sangat tinggi, mencerminkan efektivitas dan relevansi program dalam memenuhi kebutuhan mereka. Program ini berhasil memberdayakan para ustadz sebagai agen perubahan dalam masyarakat, namun menghadapi beberapa tantangan, termasuk keterbatasan infrastruktur dan resistensi budaya. Pengembangan selanjutnya mencakup ekspansi program ke komunitas lain, penggunaan teknologi yang lebih efisien, dan kolaborasi dengan pihak terkait untuk mendukung keberlanjutan program. Kesimpulannya, program pembinaan bahasa Arab ini efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan bahasa dan pemahaman agama Islam para ustadz, yang pada gilirannya dapat meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan agama Islam di masyarakat. Keberhasilan ini memberikan dasar yang kuat untuk pengembangan dan perluasan program di masa depan.

Abstract

Pembelajaran bahasa Arab berbasis budaya lokal, merupakan pengalaman belajar yang mengintegrasikan budaya lokal bagian dari proses pembelajaran. Judul penelitian ini yaitu pembelajaran bahasa Arab berbasis budaya lokal Bima pada mahasiswa PBA di universitas Muhammadiyah Bima. Metode penelitian jenis kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data secara observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian yaitu; 1) Metode Gramatika-Terjemah digunakan pada materi tema Rimpu, Uma Lengge dan Ngaha aina ngoho. 2) Metode Langsung digunakan pada materi Muhadatsah, yang mana materi ini diajarkan secara langsung dengan pembahasan tema Istana Kerajaan Bima atau ASI Bima dan Makam Kerajaan Bima atau Rade Raja Dana Traha. 3) Metode Audiolingual yaitu digunakan pada Matakuliah Pengembangan Bahan Ajar Bahasa Arab yaitu mendengarkan rekaman tentang Doro Tambora. 4) Kemudian metode Eklektik digunakan ketika menyelesaikan tugas akhir semester dalam kegiatan yang bertemakan budaya Bima, dengan menggunakan beberapa metode yaitu Sam’iyah Syasawiyah dan Mubasyarah.

Abstract

MAN I merupakan salah satu diantara madrasah negeri yang sedang menerapkan kurikulum merdeka yang didalamnya terdapat mata pelajaran bahasa Arab. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan mengambil objek MAN I Kota Bima. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran bahasa Arab dalam kurikulum merdeka di MAN I Kota Bima masih dalam tahap awal implementasi. Guru dan siswa masih dalam proses penyesuaian dengan kurikulum baru. Dan Pembelajaran bahasa Arab dalam kurikulum merdeka telah terlaksana, dimulai dari persiapan guru menyusun modul ajar. Guru melaksanakan proses pembelajaran dimulai dari kegiatan awal, kegiatan inti dan kegiatan penutup. Kemudian di luar pembelajaran, siswa melaksanakan projek penguatan profil pelajar pancasila (P5). Adapun yang menjadi faktor penghambat pada pembelajaran bahasa Arab yaitu : Siswa, guru,media yang kurang memadai, lingkungan berbahasa dan kurangnya pemahaman tentang kurikulum merdeka.

Abstract

The development of Arabic speaking skills remains a significant challenge for many secondary school learners, particularly due to limited vocabulary mastery and insufficient opportunities for meaningful oral communication. This study investigates the effectiveness of AI-assisted adaptive vocabulary games in enhancing Arabic speaking skills among secondary school students. Using a classroom intervention design conducted in two instructional cycles, the study involved 31 tenth-grade students at MA Muhammadiyah Kota Bima, Indonesia. Data were collected through speaking performance tests, classroom observations, and learning documentation. The findings revealed a consistent improvement in students’ speaking performance, as indicated by an increase in the mean score from 62 in the pre-intervention stage to 68 in Cycle I and 76.25 in Cycle II. Learning mastery also increased substantially from 16.7% to 80.64% by the end of the intervention. Furthermore, the N-Gain score of 0.375 indicated a moderate level of effectiveness. The findings suggest that vocabulary-centered interactive activities can facilitate oral language production by promoting contextual vocabulary use and repeated speaking practice. From an adaptive learning perspective, the study highlights the potential of integrating Generative Artificial Intelligence into vocabulary game design to support more personalized and communicative Arabic language learning environments. The study contributes to the growing discourse on AI-enhanced language learning by demonstrating the pedagogical value of adaptive vocabulary-based interventions for developing Arabic speaking skills.

Abstract

Arabic vocabulary acquisition remains a major challenge for many learners, particularly in contexts where instruction is dominated by memorization and teacher-centered approaches. This study aimed to investigate the implementation of Artificial Intelligence-Supported Quizlet Flashcards in enhancing Arabic vocabulary acquisition among eleventh-grade students at MA Muhammadiyah Kota Bima. The study employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design based on the Kemmis and McTaggart model, consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages conducted across two cycles. The participants were 12 students. Artificial Intelligence was utilized as a supporting tool for developing vocabulary materials, contextual example sentences, and learning exercises that were subsequently integrated into Quizlet flashcards. Data were collected through observation, tests, and documentation and analyzed using descriptive quantitative techniques. The findings revealed a consistent improvement in students’ vocabulary acquisition throughout the research cycles. The mean score increased from 67 in the pre-cycle stage to 75.17 in Cycle I and 80.67 in Cycle II. Similarly, the learning mastery rate improved from 16.7% in the pre-cycle stage to 50% in Cycle I and reached 83.33% in Cycle II. These findings indicate that AI-Supported Quizlet Flashcards can provide a more interactive, flexible, and engaging learning experience, thereby supporting students’ Arabic vocabulary acquisition. The study highlights the potential of integrating AI-assisted learning-material development with digital flashcard platforms to enhance Arabic language learning in madrasah settings.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low mastery of Arabic vocabulary among tenth-grade students at MA Al-Husaini, Bima City, due to the learning process being conventional, textual, and lacking relevance to the students' socio-cultural environment. The purpose of this study was to improve vocabulary mastery through the implementation of learning strategies based on Bima local culture. The method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR), implemented in two cycles. The study subjects consisted of 27 tenth-grade students. Data collection techniques included tests (pre-test and post-test), observation, and documentation. The results showed a significant increase in students' vocabulary mastery. In Cycle I, the average class score reached 74.6, with a completion rate of 70.4%. After improvements in Cycle II, which included strengthening the use of Arabic-Bima loan terms and using more varied visual media, the average class score jumped to 80.0, with a completion rate of 100%. Qualitatively, the integration of local culture can increase students' enthusiasm and confidence in pronouncing vocabulary due to an emotional connection to the material being taught. This study concludes that local wisdom-based learning is effective in bridging students' understanding and facilitating the natural internalization of Arabic vocabulary.
