Abstract

Da'wah as an activity to convey Islamic values requires an approach that is relevant to the context of the times. In the global era, the challenges faced not only involve theological issues, but also interaction with various cross-cultural thoughts, especially Islamic and Western philosophy. This research aims to integrate the two philosophical traditions through a transdisciplinary approach in order to enrich da'wah methods, especially to build an inclusive narrative of moderation. Using a qualitative approach based on literature study and hermeneutic analysis, this research finds that the concept of wisdom in Islamic philosophy and deliberation in Western philosophy can be synergized as a theoretical basis for moderation-based da'wah strategies. The findings offer a new paradigm in da'wah studies that is not only rooted in Islamic tradition, but also open to dialogue with Western thought. The implications of this research include the development of a da'wah narrative that is able to respond to social polarization and the needs of a multicultural society in the digital era. The proposed transdisciplinary da'wah model is expected to be a significant contribution in building a more inclusive and harmonious cross-cultural communication framework.

Abstract

This article explores the integration of measurement and non-measurement instruments in quantitative research methodology for the evaluation of Islamic da’wah. Recognizing the limitations of using purely quantitative indicators, this study highlights the significance of merging structured numeric tools such as questionnaires with non-measurement approaches like interviews, observations, and digital analytics. Drawing from a synthesis of recent scholarly findings, the study elaborates on methodological, cultural, technological, and ethical challenges. It applies an innovative mixed-method approach that enhances the validity, relevance, and cultural responsiveness of da’wah evaluation models. The findings affirm that integrating these instruments offers a holistic and pragmatic understanding of da’wah effectiveness, especially in measuring cognitive, affective, and behavioral impacts on target audiences. This integration also enables participatory evaluation frameworks, supports data triangulation, and addresses the ethical dilemmas in cross-contextual research. The paper concludes that this integrative approach not only enriches research design but also equips da’wah practitioners with evidence-based strategies that are adaptable to contemporary socio-digital landscapes.

Abstract

The rapid adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) in the hospitality industry has intensified expectations regarding service efficiency, personalization, and operational performance. Despite growing empirical evidence highlighting the potential benefits of AI-enabled systems, implementation outcomes across hotel contexts remain uneven. This inconsistency suggests that technological capability alone is insufficient to explain project success, underscoring the need to examine AI adoption through the lens of information technology (IT) project management. Accordingly, this study investigates how AI-driven IT projects contribute to operational efficiency in the hospitality sector and identifies managerial and organizational factors that differentiate successful implementations from those that underperform or fail. A structured literature review (SLR) was conducted to synthesize recent empirical and conceptual studies on AI implementation in hotel operations. The analysis focuses on operational performance outcomes across guest-facing and organizational domains, as well as contextual conditions shaping project execution. The results indicate that AI-driven IT projects are commonly associated with improvements in service responsiveness, personalization accuracy, internal workflow efficiency, and resource utilization. However, the magnitude and sustainability of these benefits vary considerably across implementation contexts. An aggregated analysis of operational outcomes reveals that projects achieving balanced improvements across both service and organizational dimensions tend to demonstrate more stable efficiency gains. The findings further highlight leadership commitment, stakeholder engagement, change management practices, and system integration depth as critical determinants of project success. By framing AI adoption as a socio-technical IT project rather than a standalone technological upgrade, this study contributes to the hospitality and information systems literature and offers actionable insights for managers seeking to align AI initiatives with organizational strategy and service delivery objectives

Abstract

The Industry 5.0 era signifies a paradigm shift in Islamic education communication, moving from knowledge transmission toward human-centered, value-driven, and meaning-oriented interaction. This transformation poses critical challenges for dakwah communication, particularly in engaging digitally immersed generations shaped by intelligent technologies and algorithmic media ecosystems. This article aims to examine how innovative dakwah communication in Islamic education can be developed without compromising spiritual integrity and scholarly authority. Employing a qualitative approach through critical literature review and conceptual-reflective analysis, this study synthesizes contemporary digital dakwah practices to identify key patterns, challenges, and opportunities. The findings indicate that technological integration, such as social media, artificial intelligence, and adaptive learning, becomes effective only when embedded within empathetic, participatory, and spiritually grounded communication frameworks. This study introduces the concept of a spiritual-digital generation to reconceptualize contemporary dakwah audiences and proposes a human-centered religious communication model aligned with the principles of Education 5.0. The study contributes theoretically and practically by offering a nuanced framework for sustainable and ethical Islamic dakwah communication in the Industry 5.0 context.
