Abstract

The tourism industry is growing and developing rapidly in Gunungkidul, one of the Giriasih Village Government's efforts to develop tourism is by successfully lifting the Pego Cave water source for the community's water needs, then turning the Bembem Embung which was originally used as a place for the community to meet water needs into a Tourism Object. Embung Bembem Tourism Park is the main tourist destination in the Giriasih Village which is equipped with parking facilities, gazebos, bathrooms and a joglo. In addition, there are also kayak and duck boat facilities. as well as food and drink stalls. In order to attract more tourists, it is necessary to add supporting facilities so that the Embung Bembem Tourism Park is more attractive to visit, this is the background for this service to be carried out. Assistance to POKDARWIS Tirta Lestari to be able to develop the potential that exists in the Embung Bembem Tourism Park and other potentials in the Giriasih Village has the aim of overcoming problems: 1) Lack of tourism management capability; 2) Limited knowledge of human resources in developing tour packages. Methods used by Servants 1) Developing children's play areas, 2) Making Selfie Areas and 3) Making educational tour packages. The outputs achieved are in the form of: 1) Children's play area; 2) Selfie area and 3) Educational tour packages.

Abstract

The ability to speak in public is very important to be owned and mastered by students so as to produce the right graduate performance in the work environment. The reality on the ground turns out that not a few people are embarrassed to speak in public, causing inappropriate behavior such as experiencing symptoms of public speaking anxiety. This study aims to determine trends in anxiety about speaking in front of general students at the Indonesian University of Education Batch 2021. The research method used was a questionnaire in the form of a package arranged in the form of a Google Form. Data processing in this study used data analysis techniques in the form of descriptive statistical techniques to reveal the level of public speaking anxiety tendencies among students. The results of the descriptive statistical analysis regarding public speaking anxiety of Indonesian University of Education students Class of 2021 with an average score of 76.28 are in the interval 65.5 £ X < 87.1, which is in the medium category.

Abstract

Politeness is a social character that involves self-control and mutual respect, serving as a behavioral guide to build positive interactions in the educational environment. This research aims to examine publication patterns, geographical distribution, and the main topics addressed in studies on student politeness. The methodology used is bibliometric analysis with data taken from the research database sourced from the Scopus database within the range of 2014 to 2024. subject area in Social Sciences 786, Art and Humanities 668, Psychology 165. The articles selected and analyzed based on bibliometric indicators, such as the number of publications, amounted to 881. Software analysis was used to identify the keywords "politeness in education" OR "student politeness" OR "politeness" in the Scopus database and analyzed using VOSviewer. The results of this study are expected to support the development of character education programs and improve student-teacher relationships to foster a better educational culture. Abstract

The large number of students who have not been able to decide what career choices they will pursue after graduating from university, as well as the high number of unemployed graduates, one of which is the background of their low career maturity. One of the factors that influence career maturity is locus of control. Locus of control describes how far the individual views his confidence in the efforts he makes to achieve a career. This study aims to describe the relationship between locus of control and career maturity in college students. This study uses a systematic literature review method with PRISMA guidelines. The data used is a collection of articles about locus of control and career maturity in students. The data comes from searching articles on the Google Scholar and Crossref databases with the help of the Publish or Perish (POP) application. The article search strategy uses keywords according to topics from the last 10 years, namely 2012-2022. The articles were screened and an assessment of the feasibility of the journal was carried out according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. This study uses 6 main articles. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between internal locus of control and career maturity in college students. That is, the higher the student's internal locus of control, the higher the career maturity of the student.

Abstract

In the field of career development, career decision-making self-efficacy plays an important role in adolescents' career decision-making process, decision-making ability, career exploration behaviour, performance goals, and career identity. The main objective of this review was to identify and analyse the instruments used by researchers to measure high school students' CDSE. Using the Systematic Literature Review method, the researcher specifically identified Scopus-indexed articles published between 2003 and 2023. The authors found that the Career Decision Self-Efficacy Scale Short Form (CDSES-SF), developed by Betz, Klein, & Taylor (1996), is the most widely used instrument to measure career decision self-efficacy. The CDSES-SF shows high reliability, with Cronbach's alpha ranging from α=0.78-0.95, placing it in the good and excellent categories. In addition, the CDSES-SF has been applied to diverse high school students from different races, ethnicities, ages, grade levels, skin colours, genders, and countries.
