Abstract

This study explores workforce performance in AI-driven environments where individuals operate under dual-role conditions. Existing studies emphasize technological factors while neglecting human behavioral constraints and the distinction between sufficient and necessary conditions. This study addresses this gap by integrating Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling and Necessary Condition Analysis to identify both enabling and limiting factors. Data were collected from 200 manufacturing workers in Indonesia. The results show that engagement level is the main driver of performance (β = 0.519), while self-regulation capability has a strong effect (β = 0.345). NCA revealed that self-regulation capability is the key necessary condition and main bottleneck (d = 0.189), indicating that high performance cannot be achieved without a minimum threshold. AI system support acts as an enabling factor (d = 0.166), while digital capability shows a weak effect (d = 0.065). These findings highlight that performance is not only driven by engagement but is constrained by self-regulatory capabilities. Future research should extend this model using longitudinal data, multi-sector analysis, and additional variables such as organizational support and system complexity to improve model generalizability and robustness

Abstract

Rapid economic and population growth, urbanization, and resource overexploitation have intensified household solid waste generation, creating serious environmental challenges, particularly in developing countries. Despite various efforts, waste management systems remain inadequate, hindered by poor infrastructure, limited recycling practices, and insufficient disposal facilities. However, existing models often overlook the behavioral dimension of waste generation. This study aims to identify and assess critical factors influencing the development of effective household waste management by integrating food practices into the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), thereby addressing a significant theoretical gap. A systematic literature review of 78 peer-reviewed articles published between 2014 and 2024 was conducted to extract key influencing factors and conceptual models. The created model concept will be evaluated using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) based on expert judgment to determine the relative importance of each variable. Five experts were selected using purposive sampling from four stakeholder entities: academia, government, industry, and community. The analysis revealed 11 interrelated factors, with pro-environmental behavior (23.8%), government policy (18.7%), and public attitude (14.8%) emerging as the most influential. The findings highlight that behavioral change, supported by robust policy frameworks, is essential for enhancing household-level waste management. This study offers a comprehensive decision-support model that integrates behavioral, institutional, and technological interventions, providing actionable insights for policymakers and practitioners in promoting sustainable consumption and waste reduction practices.

Abstract

Supply chain is one of the important aspects in a company. An effective supply chain can help companies to increase efficiency, effectiveness, and profitability. The purpose of this research is to develop a supply chain performance measurement model at PT Metito Indonesia based on Power BI Business Intelligence. This research is a type of qualitative research that uses a descriptive approach. The data collection technique in this research was carried out by observation and literature study. This research was conducted at PT Metito Indonesia which is located at Jl. Ampera Raya No. 18A, East Cilandak, Kemang, South Jakarta. Data validity tests in this study include tests, credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. The research results show that measuring supply chain performance at PT Metito Indonesia can increase its competitiveness by adopting strategies that are more adaptive and responsive to market changes. Using BI Power BI helps companies to be more proactive in making strategic decisions that have a direct impact on increasing competitiveness in the market, increasing operational efficiency, and strengthening the company's position in a competitive industry.

Abstract

Maintenance projects on critical equipment in the petrochemical industry have a direct impact on production performance and company profitability. This study focuses on optimizing the maintenance scheduling of Furnace petrochemical industries in the olefins plant using the Program Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT) and the Crash Program method. The primary objective is to minimize shutdown duration to reduce economic losses arising from decreased ethylene production and potential delay penalties. Project activity durations were analyzed using the probabilistic PERT approach to determine the expected duration and identify the project’s critical path. Subsequently, activity compression on the critical path was performed through the Crash Program based on time–cost trade-off analysis. An economic evaluation was conducted by calculating changes in ethylene production revenue during the shutdown period. The results indicate that the initial project duration of 80 shifts can be shortened to 74 shifts through critical path compression. Although project costs increased, the accelerated completion enabled faster recovery of production capacity, resulting in an estimated net profit increase of approximately IDR 168,600,000 compared to the initial schedule. Therefore, the application of the PERT–Crash Program method proves effective in optimizing furnace maintenance scheduling and has a positive impact on cost efficiency and overall production profitability.OPTIMASI PENJADWALAN MAINTENANCE FURNACE MENGGUNAKAN PERT DAN CRASH PROGRAM UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEUNTUNGAN PRODUKSI ETHYLENE Proyek maintenance pada peralatan kritis di industri petrokimia memiliki implikasi langsung terhadap performansi produksi dan profitabilitas perusahaan. Selanjutnya, dilakukan pemadatan aktivitas pada jalur kritis menggunakan Crash Program berdasarkan analisis time–cost trade-off. Meskipun terdapat peningkatan biaya proyek, percepatan penyelesaian memungkinkan pemulihan kapasitas produksi lebih cepat, sehingga diperoleh peningkatan keuntungan bersih sebesar ±Rp168.600.000 dibandingkan jadwal awal. Dengan demikian, penerapan metode PERT–Crash Program efektif dalam mengoptimalkan penjadwalan proyek maintenance furnace dan memberikan dampak positif terhadap efisiensi biaya serta profitabilitas produksi perusahaan.
