Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Branding and Packaging on consumer purchasing decisions. In an era of increasingly tight market competition, factors such as brand image and packaging design play an important role in attracting consumer attention and influencing purchasing decisions. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey as a method of data collection. The population in this study were consumers of UMKM (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) Cahaya Rasa, Wringinsongo Village, Malang Regency. The number of samples in this study was 180 people using a purposive sampling technique. The data collected will be analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results of the study show that Branding and Packaging have a significant role in influencing consumer purchasing decisions at UMKM Cahaya Rasa. The stronger the brand image that is built and the more attractive and informative the product packaging offered, the higher the likelihood of consumers making purchases.

Abstract

This community service aims at training and assistance in making product catalogs for polynema partner MSMEs in Duwet Village, Tumpang District, Malang Regency, which at that time there was still no porduk catalog available, so that marketing activities were still not optimal. The creation of this product catalog is expected as a means of promotion to introduce products made by Duwet Village residents to the wider community. This community service activity in the form of training and assistance in making product catalogs is divided into two stages, the first is that the Duwet village community will be given photography training to produce quality product images and the second stage is training on making layouts for photographic product catalogs. With this community service activity, it is hoped that the assisted villages can create product catalogs both print and digital for promotional facilities to increase sales volume so that the impact will be on improving the welfare of Duwet Village.   Keywords:MSMEs, Promotions, Product Catalogs

Abstract

This community service program aims to enhance entrepreneurial creativity and skills among women members of the PKK RT 02/RW 15, Mangliawan Village, Pakis District, Malang Regency. The training was conducted using a hands-on approach by introducing the decoupage art technique, which involves decorating plain or used items with decorative napkins to increase their aesthetic and economic value. Decoupage art was selected due to its simplicity, affordability, ease of instruction, and potential to transform low-value materials into attractive products. The results show that all participants successfully applied decoupage techniques using two different deco-napkin patterns on two types of media—plastic bags with rough surfaces and flower pots with smooth surfaces—each requiring distinct treatment methods. Overall, the program effectively improved participants’ creativity, knowledge, and practical skills, demonstrating its potential to support women’s empowerment and household-based economic activities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis proses peminjaman dan pengembalian arsip di BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Kantor Cabang Malang dalam rangka meningkatkan efisiensi layanan kearsipan. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasari oleh belum tersedianya Standar Operasional Prosedur (SOP) tertulis yang mengatur mekanisme peminjaman dan pengembalian arsip, sehingga proses tersebut berjalan secara informal dan tidak terstandarisasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik observasi lapangan, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil analisis kondisi aktual di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa peminjaman arsip masih dilakukan melalui komunikasi informal (WhatsApp dan lisan), tanpa pencatatan terstandar, tanpa batas waktu pengembalian yang jelas, dan tanpa mekanisme verifikasi. Kondisi ini berpotensi menimbulkan risiko kehilangan arsip, salah letak (misfile), serta kesulitan penelusuran arsip vital. Sebagai luaran utama, penelitian ini menghasilkan draf SOP peminjaman dan pengembalian arsip yang memuat prosedur sistematis, formulir peminjaman, serta sistem monitoring peminjaman. Implementasi SOP yang diusulkan diharapkan mampu meningkatkan efisiensi waktu layanan, memperkuat akuntabilitas peminjam, dan mendukung tertib administrasi kearsipan di lingkungan BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Kantor Cabang Malang.

Abstract

This PKM/Service program aims to improve the packaging and promotion of "Debog Banana Duwet Polinema Crispy Chips" in Duwet Village, Tumpang District, Malang Regency. The residents of Duwet Village face challenges in effectively packaging and promoting their product, which currently lacks adequate branding and labels. To address these issues, this community service initiative aims to provide guidance and support in improving the packaging of the chips, as well as enhancing their promotional activities. Simple packaging equipment will also be provided to streamline the packaging process. The program's implementation will begin with partner coordination and conclude with a comprehensive evaluation. The outcomes of the training and mentoring activities reveal several key findings: Partners have limited knowledge about product quality improvement, affecting the product's market recognition. Current packaging methods used by partners are basic, consisting of plastic clips without product labels, limiting their market reach to the local community. "Kribog's DuPo Crispy" products, created by partners, lack attractive branding and labels. To ensure the sustainability of "Kribog's DuPo Crispy" products produced by our partners, the following recommendations are made: Conduct training sessions focused on enhancing product quality, fostering creativity, and innovation among "Kribog's DuPo Crispy" producers. Provide support in marketing strategies to address partners' limited knowledge in this area. Offer assistance in obtaining government-issued certifications, such as P-IRT licenses and food safety certifications, to ensure product quality and safety standards for "Kribog's DuPo Crispy."

Abstract

Archives hold important value as a source of information and evidence of organizational governance, so they must be protected from disaster risks, one of which is fire. The fire at the Secretariat of the Blitar Regency Regional House of Representatives caused archival damage and required protection and rescue measures by the Blitar Regency Library and Archives Service. This study analyzes the implementation of archive protection and rescue based on ANRI Head Regulation Number 23 of 2015 and identifies the obstacles encountered. A descriptive qualitative approach was used, with archivists as informants. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model. Results show that protection and rescue were implemented through the pre-disaster, emergency response, and post-disaster stages, though not yet fully compliant due to limited technical guidelines, facilities, infrastructure, and organizational preparedness. Evacuation, identification, restoration, documentation, and reporting were nevertheless successfully carried out. The study concludes that implementation has generally complied with applicable regulations but still requires improvement in regulatory, preparedness, and infrastructure aspects.

Abstract

Pengelolaan arsip inaktif merupakan bagian penting dalam sistem kearsipan karena berperan dalam mendukung efektivitas proses temu kembali arsip. Namun, dalam prakteknya masih ditemukan berbagai permasalahan, seperti ketidakteraturan penyimpanan arsip, keterbatasan sumber daya manusia, serta kurang optimalnya penggunaan sarana temu kembali arsip yang menyebabkan proses pencarian informasi menjadi kurang efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran pengelolaan arsip inaktif dalam proses temu kembali arsip berdasarkan hasil penelitian terdahulu dan regulasi kearsipan yang berlaku. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka (literature review) dengan memanfaatkan data sekunder yang diperoleh dari jurnal ilmiah dan peraturan perundang-undangan yang relevan dengan topik penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan arsip inaktif yang dilakukan secara sistematis melalui penataan, penyimpanan, penggunaan sarana temu kembali, dan penyusutan arsip mampu meningkatkan kemudahan akses informasi serta mempercepat proses pencarian dokumen. Selain itu, efektivitas temu kembali arsip dipengaruhi oleh sistem penyimpanan, kompetensi sumber daya manusia, ketersediaan sarana temu kembali arsip, dan pemanfaatan teknologi informasi. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan arsip inaktif tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai kegiatan penyimpanan dokumen, tetapi juga sebagai upaya mendukung aksesibilitas informasi organisasi secara efektif dan efisien.
