Abstract

Research Objectives: This study aims to examine the influence of competence and organizational culture on employee performance at PT. Permata Graha Nusantara, West Jakarta. Specifically, the research objectives are: (1) to determine the effect of competence on employee performance, (2) to examine the impact of organizational culture on employee performance, and (3) to investigate the combined influence of competenc. Research Method: The study employs a quantitative descriptive research method. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire. The population consisted of 50 employees, and the sample was selected using a saturated sampling technique, which means that all 50 employees were included in the study. Data analysis was conducted through validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple regression analysis, multiple correlation coefficient analysis, determination coefficient analysis, and hypothesis testing. ResultsSimilarly, the t-test results for the organizational culture variable (X2) indicate that the calculated t-value (6.722) exceeds the critical t-value (2.011) and the significance level is below 5% (0.000), confirming that organizational culture significantly influences employee performance. The F-test results show that the calculated F-value (55.141) is greater than the critical F-value (2.80) at a 5% significance level (0.000 < 0.05), suggesting that competence and organizational culture together have a significant simultaneous effect on employee performance. Model Summary: The R Square value of 0.701 indicates that 70.1% of the variation in employee performance (Y) can be explained by competence (X1) and organizational culture (X2), while the remaining 29.9% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.

Abstract

AI-powered tools have been widely used in many fields, including education. The use of AI is prevalent due to its convenience offered to its users. Students in this era are among those who make use of this technology. The use can vary depending on the needs and intentions the students have. Therefore, it is necessary to find out how the students view this technology. This research aims at exploring how students see AI as beneficial tools for them as well as how students AI might cause concerns among them. This research applies a qualitative exploratory approach to collect the data. The findings show that students feel benefited from the use of AI during their learning journey including the instrumental functions and the more advanced functions of AI. On the other hand, the findings also show how students feel concerned about AI despite their regular use. The students realize that AI use may lead to overdependence causing the decline of critical thought. All in all, the use of AI must be accompanied by ethical considerations so that AI will not replace the cognitive process of its users.

Abstract

This study aims to explore and understand the process of consumer trust construction among Indonesian Generation Z toward influencer marketing practices increasingly mediated by artificial intelligence (AI). Amid the proliferation of AI-algorithm-supported digital content, fundamental questions about how trust is built, maintained, and even dismantled in technology-based influencer ecosystems have become increasingly critical. This study employs an interpretive phenomenological approach with data collection through semi-structured in-depth interviews with 18 Generation Z informants (aged 18–27 years) who actively consume social media content in Indonesia. Data analysis was conducted through Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) procedures, yielding three main themes: (1) the dualism of trust between authenticity and suspicion of AI-based content; (2) the construction of influencer digital identity as a trust proxy; and (3) community mediation as a social validation mechanism. Findings reveal that Generation Z possesses digital literacy enabling them to detect AI-based manipulation, yet paradoxically maintain loyalty to influencers perceived as authentic even when using AI tools. This research contributes to the development of digital trust theory and provides practical implications for marketers in designing ethical and transparent influencer marketing strategies in the AI era.
