Abstract

PT XYZ merupakan perusahaan yang menjual dan melayani jasa pengolahan buah kelapa di Kabupaten Gresik. Kualitas dan ketersediaan bahan baku memegang peranan penting karena mempengaruhi kelancaran proses produksi pada perusahaan. Untuk memenuhi kebutuhan konsumen dan menghasilkan produk yang berkualitas, pemilihan pemasok perlu dilakukan lebih lanjut untuk memastikan kualitas dan keamanan pasokan untuk menjamin kelancaran proses produksi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi pemasok terbaik melalui penggunaan kriteria dan sub kriteria yang dihasilkan selama proses pengumpulan data. Quality, cost, delivery, serta service adalah empat kriteria yang digunakan. Untuk mengumpulkan data yang komprehensif, peneliti menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan angket. Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) dan TOPSIS (Preference order technique by similiarity to ideal solution) digunakan untuk mengolah data dalam penelitian ini. Bobot kriteria tertinggi diperoleh melalui metode pengolahan yaitu kriteria biaya, dilanjutkan dengan pemeringkatan berdasarkan bobot yang diperoleh yaitu quality, delivery, dan servce. Kemudian, dengan menggunakan metode TOPSIS, ditentukan bahwa petani kelapa Singaraja adalah pemasok kelapa terbaik dan paling optimal.

Abstract

Gresik, one of the industrial cities in Indonesia, has recorded that more than 1000 workers have been laid off. The increasing unemployment in Gresik makes the government have to work extra hard to help the community's problems. However, the burden of this community's powerlessness cannot be transferred to the government all the time. Even though the government is still very busy with the unresolved COVID-19 cases. The Community Service proposed by the UMG Industrial Engineering team took the theme of Fish Cultivation in Buckets (Fish farming in buckets), which is better known as aquaponics. The concept of Fish farming in buckets itself is to unite plants and fish in a bucket, resulting in a symbiotic mutualism that is very beneficial for both parties. The object of this research will be conducted at the Industrial Engineering Study Program, University of Muhammadiyah Gresik (TI-UMG) by giving invitations to residents of Yosowilangun Gresik, especially the FAMILY WELFARE DEVELOPMENT group and the Yatim Mandiri foundation. The reason why the debriefing is preferred to the FAMILY WELFARE DEVELOPMENT and Yatim Mandiri groups is none other than the fact that FAMILY WELFARE DEVELOPMENT is a collection of housewives where it is likely that some of the heads of their families will be laid off. And the Yatim Mandiri Foundation is here to support the improvement of the economic independence of the orphan group.

Abstract

Fertilizer is the most important thing in terms of caring for plant growth. This was identified because fertilizer has nutrient mineral elements which are really needed by the plants themselves. Fertilizer itself is divided into organic and inorganic fertilizers. Still related to the type of fertilizer itself, in order to get plants with good quality and cultivation, the fertilizer given must be balanced because it is in line with the contents that exist in each type of fertilizer. Inorganic fertilizer or better known as chemical fertilizer is more popular with many people because of its practicality, but it should be remembered that excessive use of chemical fertilizers also have a negative impact on soil fertility. Therefore organic fertilizer still plays a role in the field of inorganic fertilizer in order to offset the need for soil itself. Understanding the importance of a balance between organic and inorganic fertilizers, the community service conducted by providing training in making Guano fertilizer at SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Morowudi Gresik was chosen to be applied. Guano fertilizer was chosen as an alternative to the addition of a companion formula rather than inorganic fertilizer because of its content which is rich in nitrogen, phosphorus, postasium which is needed by plants. Efforts to provide training to students of SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Morowudi Gresik are also expected to be able to boost cooperation than the students themselves in developing their potential to contribute to the community and schools

Abstract

ABSTRACT Seiring dengan berkembangnya lingkungan industri yang semakin kompetitif, maka dibutuhkan suatu manajemen rantai pasokan yang disiplin dimana bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan ketersediaan produk dari suatu perusahaan. Dengan demikian maka penyeimbangan angka perencanaan, produksi dan persediaan dari produk merupakan hal penting dalam suatu kegiatan usaha. Model optimalisasi ukuran pengadaan dan produksi secara terintegrasi menjadi model yang memberikan hasil optimal untuk semua pihak yang terlibat dalam rantai pasok. Penelitian ini mengusulkan pengembangan model rantai pasokan satu produsen dan 3 komponen distributor dengan tujuan meminimalisasi total biaya persediaan (TIC) dan menentukan lamanya waktu satu siklus produksi sehingga produsen dapat memenuhi setiap kebutuhan distributor dan mencapai koordinasi terbaik antara produsen dan distributor sehingga memungkinkan tidak terjadinya keterlambatan pengiriman dan jumlah total biaya persediaan  optimal ke masing-masing distributor.  Algoritma sederhana digunakan untuk menentukan waktu siklus yang optimal dan total biaya persedian kepada masing-masing distributor. Pada akhir penelitian ini dimunculkan contoh numerik penggunaan model yang telah dibangun  berdasarkan data-data studi kasus sebuah industri pupuk sebagai produsen dan 3 komponen distributornya yaitu subsidi, in house dan komersial. Hasil dari contoh numerik yang telah dilakukan menunjukan bahwa distributor yang optimal yaitu subsidi dengan produksi optimal sebanyak 274.773 unit selama 4 hari kerja untuk menjalankan satu siklus produksi. Pemilihan distributor yang optimal ditentukan dari nilai TIC paling rendah dari tiga kali percobaan yang telah dilakukan, yaitu didapatkan nilai TIC n = 1 sebesar $1.905.651. Keywords  : Inventory Model, Supply Chain Management, Supply Chain Integrated, Optimal Production

Abstract

Competition between industries currently requires the industry to continue to improve in improving the industrial system. Machine flexibility is one of the programs to improve industry's ability to increase competitiveness. In meeting consumer demand, general purpose machines have become one of the foundations for industrial systems in producing various types of products. Machine performance will decrease in line with the age of the machine / component and the length of the machine's operation. Maintenance planning / component replacement is one way to reduce downtime. A lathe is a general purpose machine, which has components that are often damaged, such as gear and control cables, which cause a lot to stop using the machine. Scheduling replacing components is a vital process in reducing lost time and minimizing costs arising from decreased machine performance. The focus of this research is determining the component replacement schedule that can meet these two criteria. This can be achieved by applying the age replacement method. The Age Replacement method is basically looking for a balance point between the probability of component failure and component reliability to obtain the optimal probability value of total down time. By estimating the pattern of component failure with the Weibull distribution, calculations are made for the two components that are most frequently damaged on a lathe. The results obtained are the time to replace the components, the replacement period and the costs arising from the optimal replacement of these components. By paying attention to the total down time probability value, it can be concluded that the optimal time to apply preventive replacement on the gear component and the control cable component.

Abstract

Competition between companies today requires companies to continue to improve by improving the industrial system. Machine reliability is one of the programs to increase the competitiveness of a company in meeting consumer demand. The pulverizer machine is a very important supporting machine for producing electricity. The pulverizer has several components that are often damaged, such as the coal feeder, gearbox, hydraulic pump, and grinding roller, which causes the production process to experience downtime. This research is about planning the maintenance of machine components. This problem will be solved by using the FMEA approach with Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) to determine the failure mode and the effect of failure on critical components. There is 1 failure mode that has the highest Risk Priority Number value. The failure mode is a torn V-Belt. The results of the MTTR and MTTF calculations are used to determine the time interval for the torn V-Belt failure mode, the MTTF value is 735.32 hours or 30.6 days, MTTR is 44.84 hours or 1.8 days. Recommendations for appropriate action through the Task Selection V-Belt failure mode fall into category A, namely Safety Problem with Time Directed (TD) action and optimal scheduling planning of 15 days. Keywords  : Scheduling, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis, Reliability Centered Maintenance, Task Selection, TDM

Abstract

Bags are accessories that are often used by students and workers to store their belongings. In Indonesia, there are many bag craftsmen and they have various qualities. Triple X SME is a small micro business and is classified as a bag production house industry. Maintaining quality consistency is a problem that occurs along the bag production line. Quality problems if not resolved will result in an increase in the cost of making the bag. Then the seven tools (7QC) one of the proven methods in dealing with this and as a result of the seven quality control instruments (7QC) reducing the number of manufacturing-related errors. These devices have proven to be quite useful in terms of increasing output and improving quality. As this case study can show, when 7QC techniques are used in a small business, they help deal with the problems experienced by the SME. During the first six months of the project, production lines are inspected, faults are categorized, and 7QC tools are implemented effectively and problems found exactly. As important as any tool in finding the root cause of a problem is, a cause and effect diagram is the most important.

Abstract

UD. Albarokah is a trading business one of which produces snack that we often eat daily namely mini opaque with three flavors, namely original, spicy, and green beans. In the study, the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method is used to get right priority of marketing strategy proposals, which can be applied to compaines to increase sales volume. The results of the priority alternative marketing strategies from the highest to the lowest are product strategy being the first priority choice, promotion strategy being the second choice, price strategy being the third choice, place strategy being the fourth choice, public relations strategy being the fifth choice. The recommendations for alternative strategies given are product packaging, trustworthy information messages, easily accessible information discovery, affordable prices, clear and easy-to-understand information, product quality, attractive prices discounts, ease of payment selection. UD. Albarokah adalah bisnis perdagangan yang salah satunya memproduksi makanan ringan yang sering kita makan sehari-hari yaitu opak mini dengan tiga rasa yakni original, pedas, dan kacang ijo. Pada penelitian ini, metode Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) digunakan untuk mendapatkan prioritas usulan strategi pemasaran yang tepat, yang dapat diterapkan pada perusahaan untuk meningkatkan volume penjualan. Hasil prioritas strategi pemasaran dari yang tertinggi sampai yang terendah yaitu strategi produk menjadi pilihan prioritas pertama, strategi promosi menjadi pilihan kedua, strategi harga menjadi pilihan ketiga, strategi tempat menjadi pilihan keempat, strategi hubungan masyarakat menjadi pilihan kelima. Rekomendasi alternatif strategi yang diberikan yaitu kemasan produk, pesan informasi dapat dipercaya, penemuan informasi mudah diakses, harga yang ditawarkan terjangkau, informasi bersifat jelas dan mudah dipahami, kualitas produk, potongan harga yang ditawarkan menarik, kemudahan pemilihan pembayaran.

Abstract

The supply chain is one of the factors that are very influential in the production process in a company. In actual conditions, often in the production process, there are still many defective products that will be sent to buyers. Therefore, this study aims to propose a single-vendor single-buyer inventory model with consideration of the presence of defective products to minimize the total joint inventory cost. An iterative algorithm is used to obtain optimal values of the frequency of shipments and the cycle length resulting in a minimum total joint inventory cost. The results of the numerical examples and sensitivity analysis indicate that proposed integrated model gives a significant cost saving along with a high percentage of defective products. Supply chain atau rantai pasok merupakan salah satu faktor yang sangat berpengaruh dalam proses produksi di suatu perusahaan. Pada kondisi yang sebenarnya, seringkali pada proses produksi masih banyak ditemukan produk cacat yang nantinya akan terkirim kepada pembeli. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengusulkan sebuah model persediaan produsen tunggal pembeli tunggal dengan pertimbangan adanya produk cacat guna meminimalkan total biaya persediaan gabungan. Algoritma iteratif digunakan untuk mendapatkan nilai optimal dari frekuensi pengiriman dan lama siklus dalam menghasilkan total biaya persediaan gabungan yang minimum. Hasil dari contoh numerik dan analisis sensivitas menunjukkan bahwa model terintegrasi yang diusulkan memberikan penghematan biaya yang cukup signifikan seiring dengan tingginya persentase produk cacat.

Abstract

Perusahaan dagang merupakan perusahaan yang membeli suatu barang untuk dijual kembali tanpa mengubah bentuk atau sifat barang secara berarti. Hal tersebut mengingat bahwa tujuannnya adalah untuk menjual kembali barang tersebut diatas harga pokok agar mendapat keuntungan. Persediaan baranng di UD. Duta Bangunan mengalami permasalahan stock out dan over stock yang mengakibatkan sering dilakukannya pemesanan secara serentak, sehingga perlu dilakukan analisis pengendalian persediaan barang. Berdasarkan permasalahan diatas, maka metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis Always Better Control dan Economic Order Quantity Probabilistik. Metode Always Better Control membantu mengelompokkan barang kedalam kelompok A, B, dan C sehingga pihak manajemen dapat mengetahui perlakuan untuk setiap kelompoknya. Metode Economic Order Quantity Probabilistik memperhitungkan lead time dan permintaan barang oleh konsumen yang tidak pasti sehingga di harapkan tidak terjadi stock out dan over stock. Hasil penelitian menunujukkan bahwa terdapat 44 jenis barang (17,19%) barang yang tergolong kelompok A dengan penggunaan anggaran sebesar 49,95% dari total investasi barang. Kelompok B terdapat 80 jenis barang (31,25%) dengan penggunaan anggaran sebesar 30,69% dari total investasi barang. Sedangkan kelompok C terdapat 132 jenis barang (51,56%) dari seluruh barang dengan penggunaan anggaran sebesar 19,36% dari total investasi barang. Jumlah pemesanan optimal untuk kelompok A bervariasi mulai dari 6-771 unit, kelompok B bervariasi mulai dari 7-125 unit, dan kelompok C bervariasi mulai dari 13-760 unit. Sedangkan untuk ROP kelompok A bervariasi antara 1-687 unit, kelompok B bervariasi antara 1-21 unit, dan kelompok C bervariasi antara 1-43 unit. Untuk safety stock barang kelompok A bervariasi antara 0-37 unit, untuk kelompok B bervariasi antara 0-6 unit, dan untuk kelompok C bervariasi antara 0-15 unit.
