Abstract

The problem that is often experienced by production partners is that the process of frying chips still uses conventional methods, namely using a frying pan in general, so that in terms of quality it is constrained by production capacity, and in terms of quality the production results contain too much oil which causes bananas to become soft easily, apart from that. The use of appropriate technology in the form of a frying machine (Vacuum Frying) and an oil draining machine (Spinner) is a solution as an effort to increase efficiency and productivity as well as sustainable business at Tuimbaso MSEs in Lambangkuning village, Lumbang district, Probolinggo. PkM activities aim to increase the efficiency and sustainability of the chips business. The strategy used is apart from designing and making frying machine technology, it also provides training and assistance in marketing management and financial management, so that it is hoped that partners will be able to improve human resources and have a positive impact related to improving business performance in a sustainable manner in and supporting the economy, especially local wisdom. The results or influences felt by partners in this program include partners being able to innovate or develop their production results through product diversification, and being able to expand the market through marker places such as Shopee, Tokopedia and so on. Abstract

Kebutuhan energi yang masih ditopang oleh energi fosil menimbulkan efek ketergantungan pada sumber daya fosil. Energi fosil yang tidak tidak dapat diperbarui menjadi sebuah permasalahan yang terhadap konsumsi energi. Hal ini dikarenakan keberadaan energi fosil bersifat sementara. Oleh karena itu diperlukan langkah untuk mengurangi ketergantungan pada energi fosil. Salah satu langkah yang dapat dilakukan adalah memulai penggunaan energi alternatif. Salah satu energi alternatif yang dapat mengganti energi fosil adalah biopelet. Biopelet dapat diperoleh dari sumber hayati. Jika ditinjau dari kekayaan alam di Indonesia maka Indonesia kaya terhadap sumber keanekaragaman hayati. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara memproduksi biopelet dari biji buah kesambi. Biji buah kesambi merupakan tanaman yang tidak tergolong bahan pangan sehingga cocok digunakan sebagai bahan baku sumber energi terbarukan. Biji buah kesambi diproduksi menjadi biopelet dan diuji karakteristiknya. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa nilai kalor rata-rata biopelet dari biji biji buah kesambi sebesar 5.520,22 kal/gram, kadar air sebesar 10,39%, kadar abu sebesar 0,318%.

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of hybrid learning for RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) students at Panca Marga University. Hybrid learning, which combines face-to-face and online instruction, addresses scheduling challenges faced by working students. Using a quantitative approach and survey methods, the study evaluates the impact of hybrid learning on learning flexibility, engagement, and academic outcomes. Results show that hybrid learning enhances flexibility, allows students to balance work and study, and improves learning outcomes by 15% compared to conventional methods. However, challenges such as internet dependence and digital fatigue remain significant. The study highlights the need for technological infrastructure and faculty training to optimize hybrid learning implementation.

Abstract

Papan skor merupakan perangkat yang umum digunakan dalam berbagai acara olahraga dan kompetisi untuk menampilkan skor dan waktu secara real-time. Papan skor tradisional sering mengandalkan sistem mekanik atau elektronik sederhana untuk menampilkan skor dan waktu. Namun, papan skor tradisional ini mempunyai beberapa kelemahan dalam hal akurasi, keandalan, dan kemampuan tampilan yang terbatas. Untuk mengatasi kendala ini, penggunaan IC digital 74192 sebagai inti dari papan skor digital diusulkan. IC digital 74192 adalah suatu chip yang terdiri dari berbagai komponen elektronik. Dalam pengembangan papan skor berbasis IC digital 74192, modul-modul ini diintegrasikan dengan sistem kontrol mikroprosesor yang dapat diprogram, sehingga menghasilkan pengaturan dan tampilan yang lebih fleksibel dan interaktif. Artikel ini akan membahas tentang  pengembangan papan skor berbasis IC digital 74192.

Abstract

The issues faced by partners in this activity include the ineffectiveness and inefficiency of the methods used in producing baglogs, both in the process of mixing wood powder and in baglog pressing, resulting in inconsistent baglog quality. The implementation of appropriate technology in the form of automatic mixing and automatic baglog pressing machines has successfully improved the quality and production capacity of oyster mushroom entrepreneurs in Ngepung Village, Probolinggo Regency. The partner for this Community Service activity is the Bromo Mandiri KTI Cooperative. The applied technology replaces manual methods for mixing wood powder and pressing baglogs, thereby increasing production efficiency by 4 to 5 times compared to manual methods, while producing baglogs with more uniform quality and higher resistance to contamination. Additionally, e-financial training was provided to the partners to enhance their financial management skills, enabling them to record transactions more neatly, manage cash flow effectively, and prepare simple financial reports that can serve as a basis for business decision-making.

Abstract

Shallots are one type of annual plant that belongs to the Liliaceae family. This plant is useful as a seasoning for cooking, as well as a source of much-needed vitamin C, protein, fat, and carbohydrates. On onion plants, there are  several  things  that  need  to  be  considered,  including  watering  and  spraying  pesticides.  In  watering  and spraying pesticides, it is still done manually. Sometimes onion farmers spend too much time and are less efficient in their work, so a water irrigation and pesticide spraying system is made on onion plants on a scheduled basis. This system uses a soil moisture sensor to read data on the amount of water content in the soil, when the sensor detects  the  soil,  the  sensor  will  read  moist  or  dry  data.  And  the  Real  Time  Clock  (RTC)  functions  as  a  timer, where the specified time has arrived, the RTC will turn on the DC Motor and DC Pump. The DC motor functions as  a  driving  force  for  the  spraying  device,  and  the  DC  Pump  functions  as  pumping  water  according  to  a specified schedule. This system uses an Arduino Uno microcontroller as a controller of the soil moisture sensor and RTC. The result of this research is the formation of watering and spraying pesticides that make it easier for farmers to water and spray pesticides on shallot plants.
