Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah praktik kerja industri dan motivasi memasuki dunia kerja berpengaruh terhadap kesiapan kerja peserta didik kelas XI Akuntansi SMK Negeri 2 Balikpapan Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019. Penelitian ini menggunkaan populasi sebanyak 100 peserta didik dan sampel sebanyak 80 peserta didik kelas XI Akuntansi SMK Negeri 2 Balikpapan tahun ajaran 2018/2019 yang dipilih secara random sampling, dan jenis data yang digunakan adalah primer. Hasil penelitian adalah (1) Praktik kerja industri (prakerin) memiliki nilai t-hitung 4.279 > t- tabel 1.991 yang berarti bahwa variabel Praktik kerja industri (prakerin) memiliki pengaruh terhadap kesiapan kerja peserta didik sebesar 0,535 (2) Motivasi Memasuki Dunia Kerja memiliki nilai t-hitung 2.306 > t- tabel 1.991 yang berarti bahwa variabel motivasi memasuki dunia kerja memiliki pengaruh terhadap kesiapan kerja peserta didik sebesar 0,312 (3) terdapat pengaruh secara bersama-sama variabel Praktik kerja industri (prakerin) dan Motivasi Memasuki Dunia Kerja terhadap kesiapan kerja peserta didik dengan nilai F-hitung 30.378 > F

Abstract

Entrepreneurship is one of the driving forces of the economy in a household and can be used to improve the economy in an area. The more people who have the passion and desire in entrepreneurship will be able to create jobs and reduce unemployment so that the economy in an area will increase. To be able to have an entrepreneurial spirit, a creative and innovative thinking is needed in running a business,. At this time batik which is one of the inheritances from our ancestors is starting to be favored by all people for various things including for modern clothing, interior goods. Therefore need to create creative works of art by exploring and combining ecoprint and batik techniques into textile artworks. In this service activity, we try to provide training on making ecoprint batik by utilizing existing natural resources, namely leaves by going through various stages, namely: the mordanting stage, sketching, steaming, lifting and cooling the fabric, color locking and drying. This training was attended by women from the Department of Food, Agriculture, and Fisheries of Balikpapan City. The results of this service show that the training participants are enthusiastic about taking the training seriously, which is shown by the participants following from beginning to end and they practice how to make ecoprint at the training site.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of organizational culture, work discipline, and work environment on job satisfaction among employees of the Civil Service and Human Resource Development Agency in Penajam Paser Utara Regency. A quantitative descriptive method was used, with total sampling of 44 employees consisting of civil servants and government contract employees. Data collection was conducted through literature review, interviews, and questionnaires based on a Likert scale. Data analysis was performed using SEM-PLS with Smart-PLS and SPSS applications. The outer model was tested for construct validity and reliability, while the inner model measured relationships between variables using R-square values and t-statistic hypothesis testing. Results indicated composite reliability and Cronbach's Alpha values above 0.70, demonstrating good reliability. The R-square value of 0.729 showed that job satisfaction was influenced by organizational culture, work discipline, and work environment by 70.9%. Hypothesis testing showed that organizational culture, work discipline, and work environment significantly affected job satisfaction with p-value < 0.05. Based on the findings, it is recommended to enhance organizational culture, work discipline, and work environment to improve employee job satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of work environment, work discipline and motivation on job satisfaction of teachers of SMK Negeri 2 Balikpapan. This research method is quantitative with the determination of the number of samples in this study using purposive sampling with ASN criteria as many as 73 people. Data were collected through interviews, and Likert scale based questionnaires. Data analysis was conducted using SEM-PLS with Smart-PLS and SPSS applications. The outer model was tested for construct validity and reliability, while the inner model measured the relationship between variables with the R-square value and the t-statistic hypothesis test. The results show the composite reliability and Cronbach's Alpha values averaged above 0.70, indicating good reliability. The R-square value of 0.796 or 79.6% shows that the variables of work environment, work discipline, and motivation on job satisfaction are 0.786 or 78.6%. Hypothesis testing shows that work environment, work discipline and work motivation have a significant effect on job satisfaction with a p-value <0.05. Based on the results of the study, it is recommended to be able to maintain a good work environment, work discipline and work motivation in order to increase employee job satisfaction.

Abstract

Financial management training in Argomulyo Village, Sepaku District, North Penajam Paser Regency. The article aims to provide understanding and improve the skills of the MSME group regarding calculating, recording, bookkeeping and managing business finances so that their businesses can develop further, thereby having an impact on increasing the skills of the Argomulyo Village MSME group regarding calculations and recording. and bookkeeping and financial management so as to improve MSME business and have an impact on increasing competitiveness and community welfare. This activity was carried out through training and mentoring, starting with a survey of training participants which showed that the majority of MSME owners had not separated business assets from personal assets. Training is carried out by providing worksheets that have been designed to be filled out by training participants so that participants can use them to record and calculate each participant's business finances. It is hoped that the results of the training can improve business financial management skills better. Based on the calculations they prepare during the training, they can be examples for participants to carry out in their business practices and they can also determine selling prices, develop investment plans and increase appropriate sources of funds so that they are expected to have an impact on increasing income and developing the business to be more advanced.

Abstract

Micro businesses contribute to the economy of families and the government, therefore there needs to be attention to business actors. With the development of business actors it will be able to help the government in absorbing labor and overcoming the problem of unemployment. The importance of business actors for the government is that steps can be taken by identifying the potential of business actors in their own regions. North Penajam Paser Regency is one of the districts in East Kalimantan which has business actors in various businesses. Business actors in North Penajam Paser district have problems related to knowledge in developing their businesses. This Community Service aims to increase knowledge of business actors in North Penajam Paser Regency so they can develop their businesses. The result of this service activity is that business actors understand the need to develop their business and know how to develop the business they already have.

Abstract

Community service (PKM) as a tenant of academic responsibility, especially lecturers in the Accounting Study Program at the Faculty of Economics, Balikpapan University, in order to help individual taxpayers improve their ability to calculate and report taxes online. This PKM also hopes to support government programs in increasing revenue from the tax sector. Individual Taxpayers (WPOP) who have a NPWP do not always understand taxation. It is hoped that this service activity can help and provide understanding to taxpayers about taxation, including their obligations, reporting limits and how to fill out their annual SPT. The taxpayer problem that will be resolved in this activity is that there are many taxpayers in the city of Balikpapan who have not reported their annual SPT because they do not understand how to fill out the SPT. So taxpayers cannot fill in the Annual Income Tax SPT and report it incorrectly or do not report the SPT. The method applied to overcome this taxpayer problem is by providing training through public lectures which are held in collaboration with several lecturers in the accounting study program, Faculty of Economics, Balikpapan University, DJP employees and students who are members of the tax volunteers of the FE Uniba accounting study program. This activity is divided into 2 stages, namely the first session is a public lecture to socialize taxation to training participants and the second session is assistance in filling out the annual SPT. This community service activity is carried out to help WPOP who experience difficulties in filling out their Annual Tax Returns online, either through e-filling or e-form. In community service activities, the participants reached 28 WPOP from various professions. The results of this activity show that the majority of participants agree and strongly agree that this assistance is needed to help them report their Annual Tax Returns and fulfill their tax obligations.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the Effect of Compensation, Motivation and Work Discipline on Employee Job Satisfaction of PT> Epiroc Southern Asia Balikpapan. Data collection was carried out by distributing a questionnaire with a total of 37 respondents from PT. Epiroc Southern Asia Balikpapan, this research method uses a quantitative method. The sampling technique in this study uses the total sampling technique or census. Statistical tests and data processing were carried out using Partial Least Square (PLS) with the Smart PLS program version 3.0. The results of the study show that the motivation variable has a positive and significant effect on the job satisfaction of employees of PT. Epiroc Southern Asia Balikpapan while the variables of compensation and work discipline have no effect on the job satisfaction of employees of PT. Epiroc Southern Asia Balikpapan.
