Abstract

Black Soldier Fly (BSF) is a fly that can produce a maggot or larvae that are useful for human life, like a decomposer waste in the form of composting, animal feed, animal oil production, source of chitin, and for the economic incomes of the society. This study aims to develop a device that can be used to control the maggot cage temperature and humidity using the ESP8266 microcontroller based on the Internet of Things (IoT). The benefit of this study is the utilization of nozzle-based water spraying that can be used to maintain the maggot cage temperature and humidity to improve the quality of maggot cultivation results. In this study, the sensor used to read the temperature and humidity on the maggot cage is DHT11, then used a water spraying method to handle the temperature and humidity controlled by using the ESP8266 and online based on the Blynk IoT platform. This study result shows that the device built in this study can maintain the maggot cage temperature between 28 to 30oC and humidity over 60%.

Abstract

In the era of technology 5.0, many people have been able to create new value through technological developments that occur from time to time. This change can help minimize the gap in people and economic problems in the future. One of the fastest growing technologies every year is an application on a smartphone. There are so many variations of applications, this is because smartphone users are increasing from time to time. Existing developments are an opportunity for the Garbage Bank to support the zero waste program and improve Garbage Bank services to the community. This study aims to develop a Garbage Bank application as a means of ordering waste transportation services and viewing educational information, as well as activities from the Sorong Raya Garbage Bank (BSSR). Application development will use the Extreme Programming method, with the stages of Planning, Design, Coding, and Testing. This method was chosen because it can increase user satisfaction due to continuous communication in application development and is suitable for use by small teams. The application can be used on the Android operating system. The application was developed using Android Studio and Flutter tools. To ensure the system is running properly, it will be tested with alpha testing. The results of the alpha testing of all functional systems can run as expected so it can be concluded that the application is feasible to use.

Abstract

The implementation of the Garbage Bank program is strived to be able to provide benefits and economic value from waste management, its existence is expected to have a direct impact on the people's economy so that it can be implemented easily. The Sorong Raya Garbage Bank (BSSR) has 108 Unit Waste Banks, 3,131 Customers, so it is only appropriate for BSSR to have an integrated management information system to support its business processes and operations. So far, BSSR management has not run optimally, because data loss often occurs, each division and level has data that is out of sync, difficulty finding data due to inconsistent writing and flow, the resulting reports are not optimal so that it has an impact on decision making. The research will be conducted using the extreme programming method. The output of this research is a waste bank management information system that can help BSSR integrate the management of each division and level so that business and operational processes can run effectively and efficiently. The system will be designed using the Unified Modeling Language (UML). System testing will use the Black Box method. The results of the black box test state that the input and output of the Sorong Raya Garbage Bank Management Information System are appropriate.

Abstract

Currently there is a transportation service at the Sorong Raya Garbage Bank. Customers for transport services are increasing day by day and this makes it difficult for drivers because they have to determine short routes every day. If the driver does not know the exact address and determines the shortest route, this will result in inefficient use of time and wasted fuel. This can also have an impact on the services provided to customers so they are not optimal because they are late or not on time. Based on the existing problems, a solution is given in the form of an application that aims to determine the shortest or closest route between each address that will be visited by the garbage collection car, this is to support the effectiveness of waste collection by providing information to the driver in the form of the shortest path to be traversed. Applications are made using the Dijkstra algorithm approach for mobile applications on the Android platform. The application is equipped with a description of the trip, estimated travel time, and alternative routes to each address. The result of the application made is that the application can implement the Djikstra algorithm which can be applied and succeeds in determining the shortest distance for the process of transporting garbage to residents' homes based on the initial address input from the driver to the pick-up destination address.

Abstract

Sistem kartu pelajar yang efektif dan efisien sangat penting bagi lembaga pendidikan untuk memastikan keamanan dan mengelola informasi siswa. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang prototype sistem kartu pelajar cerdas berbasis Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) di MA Insan Kamil Kota Sorong. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan dengan tahapan analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Prototype kartu pelajar cerdas ini menggunakan teknologi RFID untuk mengidentifikasi siswa dan memungkinkan pengelolaan informasi siswa secara digital. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa prototype kartu pelajar cerdas berbasis RFID di MA Insan Kamil Kota Sorong dapat meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi dalam manajemen data siswa. Sistem ini memungkinkan informasi siswa seperti identitas, data akademik, dan absensi untuk diakses secara real-time dan terintegrasi dengan sistem informasi sekolah. Diharapkan hasil penelitian ini dapat memberikan kontribusi dan solusi dalam pengembangan sistem kartu pelajar cerdas di lembaga pendidikan lainnya. Sistem ini dapat membantu meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi dalam manajemen data siswa serta memberikan keamanan yang lebih baik bagi siswa dan lembaga pendidikan

Abstract

Saint Paul Sorong Polytechnic is one of the universities in Sorong City, which consists of several departments and also does not have a website as a means to provide official information from each department, one of which is the Department of Computer Network Engineering Technology. So the purpose of this research is that the department's information system can be displayed through the official website and make it easier for students to register for KKN-PPM & Job Training. The purpose of this research is to facilitate data processing for the TRKJ department, to facilitate students who will register for KKN-PPM & Job Training, to produce a website that can function as a medium of information and communication that is more effective and efficient. This research method uses the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) or the system development life cycle is the process used by systems analysts to develop information systems, starting from planning, determining requirements, and designing. The results of the black box testing are a web-based Computer Network Engineering Technology Information System in accordance with what is expected in this study, it can be seen from the system according to what is produced from the system being tested, such as inputting, deleting, and editing data in the system, performing KKN-PPM registration and practical work as expected, namely being able to print proof of registration and upload reports.

Abstract

Penularan penyakit Covid-19 yang disebabkan oleh virus SARS-CoV-2 merupakan penyakit yang mematikan dan menyerang pada bagian pernapasan. Upaya yang dilakukan untuk mencegah penyakit ini adalah menjaga jarak, dan menjaga kebersihan dengan menggunakan cairan disinfektan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mempermudah masyarakat untuk menerapkan protokol kesehatan ketika berada pada ruang publik seperti rumah sakit, kampus, pertokoan, dan perkantoran. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan sensor PIR, Arduino Nano, Motor DC dan Nossel. Pengujian alat dilakukan secara otomatis dan manual, secara otomatis bertujuan untuk menguji waktu yang dibutuhkan motor pompa air, LED dan exhaust berkerja sedangkan secara manual bertujuan mengetahui waktu yang ditentukan dari kerja motor Dc atau tidak. Pengujian otomatis dilakukan 10 kali pengujian dengan waktu motor DC 3,62 detik dan exhaust, LED adalah 11,16 detik sedangkan secara manual dilakukan 5 kali pengujian dengan penentuan waktu 3 detik dalam proses penyemprotan dan dari hasil yang diperoleh maka lama motor Dc bekerja tidak sesuai dengan waktu yang ditentukan petugas.

Abstract

Kabupaten Rajaampat salah satu kepulauan di Provinsi Papua Barat di Indonesia. Wisatawan domestik dan mancanegara yang datang sebelum Covid-19 pada tahun 2019 bisa mencapai 32.000 pengunjung (sumber: kumparan.com). Di masa Pandemic Covid-19 hampir tidak ada sama sekali pengunjung yang datang sehingga sangat berdampak bagi perekonomian UMKM di wilayah Kabupaten Raja Ampat. UMKM tidak efektif lagi melakukan promosi dan publikasi objek wisata dengan cara konvensional, harus ada terobosan baru dengan memanfaatkan teknologi informasi, database maupun smartphone android.  Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, maka tujuan dari penelitian dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini memberikan solusi berupa perancangan dan pembuatan sistem informasi website pariwisata Rajaampat dengan berbasis android. Metode pendekatan pengembangan sistem yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) dengan Unified Modeling Language (UML) sebagai modelnya. Sistem yang dibuat dibagi menjadi dua bagian, yaitu sistem backend berbasis web dengan PHP dan database MySql, dan aplikasi android berbasis mobile untuk wisatawan. Hasil dari penelitian dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini yaitu (1) website gotriprajaampat.com yang dapat diakses melalui website dan smartphone android. (2) publikasi di media cetak Papua Barat Pos, Publikasi media online di website terdepan.co.id, terdepan.co.id/live/  dan (3) publikasi media youtube.

Abstract

Pulau Rutum merupakan wilayah pesisir dan masih terpinggirkan, dengan mata pencaharian utama masyarakatnya adalah nelayan, dengan salah satu produk unggulannya adalah ikan asin. Kurangnya pengetahuan tentang proses pengemasan ikan asin yang baik serta belum adanya ketersedian alat untuk menunjang proses pengemasan tersebut  menyebabkan rendahnya nilai jual ikan asin Pulau Rutum. Untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemampuan ibu-ibu nelayan dalam pengemasan ikan asin serta dapat meningkatkan nilai jual ikan asin Pulau Rutum, maka Forum DIKTISORAYA melaksanakan kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) mengenai pelatihan pengemasan ikan asin untuk ibu-ibu nelayan Pulau Rutum. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan PKM ini adalah metode pendidikan masyarakat yaitu penyuluhan dan pelatihan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah ibu-ibu nelayan Pulau Rutum telah memahami proses pengemasan dengan baik dan benar sehingga dapat mengemas ikan asin Pulau Rutum dengan baik agar dapat meningkatkan nilai jual dari produk ikan asin Pulau Rutum.

Abstract

The implementation of Internet of Things technology is still being developed, for example in the agricultural sector, namely hydroponics. Hydroponics is a planting technique without soil, this technique provides opportunities for farmers who have limited land but still produce quality plants. This research aims to apply the Internet of Things to automatically monitor the temperature and humidity in a Raspberry pi 3-based hydroponic room. It is hoped that this will increase farmers' knowledge in maintaining the temperature and humidity conditions in the planting room. The method used in the process of detecting the temperature and humidity conditions of the hydroponic room is using a DHT22 sensor, then using a water spray base mist sprayer and an automatic fan to maintain the temperature and humidity of the room which is controlled using an Arduino Mega 2560 with a Raspberry pi as a server device, to run the website as an independent platform that monitors and controls online temperature and humidity based on IoT. The result of this research is a control device that can be used to monitor and maintain the temperature of the hydroponic room ≤ 270C up to and maintain air humidity with a minimum limit of up to 65%.
